Man, you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself! This time you didn't get it, but keep looking forward to next competitions, and perhaps you will break it then!
Don’t sweat it man, that last solve was the most entertaining of all of em!!! The utter disappointment on your face and the way you threw the cube up…then practically stood up and turned around before the solved cube hit the table was pure gold.
You are one of the greatest cubers in the world. You just need to go to more comps and get over your comp nerves :D Nobody can compete with your solves at home
i recog from the same angle as the speedcubedb pi zbll images, but i;m pretty sure tymon does it from a U angle from that (easier recognition with the 3 sides) and mine can also be done from a U angle so i am working on getting that fast.
practice a lot, and learn from top solvers and try to implement their techniques into your solves. i also recommend filming your solves and going over them again and seeing where your weaknesses are.
bro the last solve you was like you turned as fast as possible, this is the mistake about nervousness that many cubers get. So try to control your nervousness while solving the last solve.
@@KyleSantucci and when you have L zb and there isn't any block in that 2x2 square and the pieces are adj adj. How do you recognise those cases? Through pseudo bars?
@@Hearing_637 well looking at the 2glls which the top 2 pieces are adjacent, there is only 3 cases with no blocks (2 if you don't count h perm triple sune case) which makes it easy to do from there. The other 9 have at least one block when you look at the 3 sides (from the angle i think you are talking about at least) I don't use pseudo bars or at least that isn't what i think of them as, they are just patterns and the way the cube looks to me.
lol suboptimal timer stop tbh i would stop it as fast as possible even when its gonna be a terrible time and wont improve the average (just so i can have a slightly less bad time)
At your level you’re bound to get something crazy soon, keep it up bro 💪
This was so cool to see in person and I can’t wait to see what your solves are like in future competitions

Do you turn fast cause of ur lookahead, if so the how far can u look and how much do u plan in inspection?
i turn fast because i turn fast, lookahead helps solve tps though. I normally see 2 pairs or more, sometimes 1 if the scramble is bad.

@@KyleSantucci Thank you
the nerves really got to you at the end, try relaxing yourself to get better times(works for me, but idk for you)

number 2, 4 clicks, medium magnets. lubed with lunar and martian
you let your nerves get to you too much man :(
How do you recognise L coll?
top 2 corner pieces are either adj, oppo, or same, then from there it is pretty easy from like every angle to distinguish the two.
@@KyleSantucci thank you!

Cubing above the dinosaurs 2024
@@K5FOSC but there's no dinosaurs lol

What was the tps on the 5.37 J perm?
10.43 overall, the pll was 11 moves in 0.82 = 13.41, RUL Ja perm is not a spammy PLL so thats why it isnt like 17+
@@KyleSantucci It looked a lot faster lol
