I do not think that Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is ready to hand over the baton to the next generation. I think Shelly-Ann wants to go out in a blaze of glory. She has an extraordinary combination of body, mind and spirit that has made such a little lady create rare excitement and win the biggest races against bigger, taller and more favoured adversaries . I think she might have one more trump up her sleeve, that is, reaching one more goal that she has not yet reached. If God stays with her, she will reach that last of her athletic goals and we will be priviledged to live to see it.
On another matter, Shelly is always able to unite Jamaicans around our national athletic causes, to push people of her team to positive achievements and to set up a winning atmosphere.
Why doesn't our Ministry of Foreign Affairs train her in foreign relations and send her as our ambassador to other peoples and nations?
In her interviews she always shows warm and refreshing natural diplomatic talent. She has an ability to win friends, influence people and spread a lovely, uplifting atmosphere.
I see her as having possibilities of being someone like Condoleezza Rice of the USA.
We can't thank Shelly Ann enough. What an amazing woman!!. So glad she prioritize on 'family' as well because after you have given your all to track, family is needed. Blessings to the family.
