Man the first one is incredible, not only did survive a 10,000 ft fall and 11 days in the jungle with little to no supplies, but she WENT ON TO GET A PHD AND BECOME A RESEARCHER. Thats incredibly inspiring
You mean the first story
Check out wings of hope or miracles still happen. They're the movies they made about it
I struggle waking up in the morning 😮
@@kaydenandtheimposters3353 the answer is yes
I've seen the TV movie "Miracles still happen", And the actress who played Juliane was very curvy.
Juliane Koepke is an inspiring figure! Seventeen years old and not only surviving an airplane crash but finding a way back to civilization and her rescue through the rainforest makes it incredibly inspiring. She really watched her father well and learned from him, not knowing it would save her life later on. What a GIRL ! ! !
Contrary to what you stated in the video, having maggots in a wound is actually beneficial. They eat dead tissue and thus actually help prevent infection. Maggot therapy is even used in hospitals to help debride wounds that might otherwise become infected.
It's in a monitored setting though and carried out under supervision. Maggot therapy sounds gross but can be extremely beneficial as you say. However being eaten alive when you really don't expect to live probably isn't exactly the most positive thing in the world 😮
My daughter did a degree in medicine and actually (very surprisingly to us!) helped her professor in the "maggot lab". The prof does research in using them in hospital. Funnily enough, there's a leach farm about 20 miles down the road. They raise "sterile" leaches (like the maggots) for hospital use! Apparently most patients who get one or the other freak out a bit at the thought, but when they get treated by them they hardly (if at all) feel anything and surprisingly get pretty attached to them!
Not those kinds of maggots. The ones she had were making it worse and more infected
Maggots can't tell dead from alive tissue. They will keep eating until they mature. If you don't supervise them they will eat you alive.
The ones in the hospital are clean
These were astounding! The first one though, I knew her story and knew she had her knowledge to help her but that she still had some limited mobilty to keep on going. What I didn't know and it's heartbreaking, is that her mother survived but succumbed to her injuries before she was found. Serious subject matter beautifully and respectfully presented Be Amazed, thank you ❤
The first one, the gal who fell from a broken-up airplane, although I don't recall her name, was certainly impressive. That she survived the fall AND eleven days trekking through the jungle is amazing. None of the others, even those who survived the fall, got out of there alive.
juliane koepcke
Seems God had a plan for her,how brave of her, luckily she had the reserve of what her father taught her, wonderful outcome for her,
Just call her juliane
I’m just confused why she didn’t sue the hell out of the company
@@blackcopal might've been before laws made it possible, or maybe by the time she did the company went bankrupt.
"Face vs Particle Accelerator" is my new bands name. so metal
REAL?😊
Be Amazed is the only person that can make the most scary things funny and awesome
Trueeee
I agree aswell
I think the same
My opion is the equivalent of yours
I have an extreme fear of heights. I would've died of a heart attack before hitting the ground.
Same here
I also am afraid of heights
BRUH SAME
Me too
Crew Acrophobia
Honestly how the heck did she do this!?
I would ask you the same thing.
By doing it
She used her flaps as a glider
She didn't. It's been debunked.
@@drmgiverdrmgiver5335 wdym
She got really lucky that she survived this, not anyone else can do that
But in the segment, it also said ... I think it was 16 others also survived?
@@stevebarde8766 oh, I guess I didn’t see that
The others who survived the airplane crash did not survive the jungle.
@@gayletaira1763 Or more likely just were too injured to do anything
Just like the many in the world that don't know how to put a sentence together the right way
The shipwreck folks was curious to me. One of the books that has always stuck in my head was 'Survive The Savage Sea'. Which is this story, the book was written by dad. I did an oral book report on that book in 7th grade, which was 1974. I've had this memory for a while! 😎 I remember everyone being grossed out when I talked about the turtle blood. :)
HEY I HAVE THAT BOOK! YOUR FATHER IS GREAT
16:17 Fun fact: he's still alive and is 81 years old
total respect for him 👍
Cool fact
20:55 Fun fact, the dad who wanted to take his family across the sea, actually got another one of his boats destroyed by the Japanese, 30 years earlier. Then, 30 years after, they were there saving his life.
I'm more amazed how you never run out of good content.
OMG that poor girl, the plane suddenly having problems is literally my worst nightmare!!! I hate flying. I doubt I'd survive for 11 days in the rainforest. Glad she had survival skills. ♥
wdym by hating flying fliying is best and safest transport method
@@GamerTalOfficial3100 Yeah until something goes wrong and you crash!
@@GamerTalOfficial3100 wdym bro
@@7burger flying is the safest transport method
@@GamerTalOfficial3100this crash, is an exception to that, considering Lamia had multiple crashes on its record, terrible maintenance and management and the fact most engineers in that airline, were supposedly just motorbike Mechanics, never having worked on an airplane
I fell 250ft off a cliff in 1989, yes honestly (broke my back and other bits but obviously lived) , but 10k feet 😬
ouch
WOW!, that is ALSO amazing!
@@stevebarde8766 Thank you 🙂I got myself together and didn't listen to the Dr's who would say I may never walk again, in August 1990 I got back on a unicycle and rode it to physiotherapy sessions to prove them wrong, went on to set up and run my own UK based circus for over 25 years :0)

Bill nye the science guy left the chat
So lucky 😭
That woman was so lucky surviving a 10k ft fall
After careful thought, I would think that falling from airplane and into a rainforest would’ve been worse than the others
the second guy survived like 600 times the lethal amount of nuclear matieral
Only God can make you survive against ALL ODDS.Glory to him for all these survivor stories.❤
Touching snow is on my bucket list!
The first one was insane. She was darn lucky
These were absolutely amazing stories of survival. The first woman...my goodness!! God was definitely on her side. Thank you😊
So god was apparently NOT on her mother's side. How weird is your god?!
@@lovingmayberry307 , go troll someone else. I have Jesus Christ with me. 32 surgeries since 2016, died twice, on disability and my faith has never wavered. Toodles. Happy Tuesday.
I would also like to add that God was not only with her on her side, but He was with all of them. All of us. God is so good and so amazing.

Love your video Be Amazed and keep up the great work
I know of a man who had gone skydiving with his wife. Both his primary AND secondary shoots failed. But, he plummeted into a forest, the tree limbs breaking his fall. The worst he suffered was a broken leg.
Awesome Dude! Great video! This is the reason I don’t fly on planes! If I can’t drive there I won’t go! Keep up the great work!
there is 1 in 19 000 change youll ever be on a plane accident and even if you are there is 89% of surviving
Man I've seen more than 50 of ur videos without subscribing, so I did and I ❤ your videos so much. I would love to see more 👏👍
I love the screaming sound effects.
Wait... That's my brother downstairs.
Thanks I guess you really do learn something new every day.
some of them must've REALLY wanted a darwin award
Being a native Peruvian, even I know I'd have difficulty surviving those odds. Kudos to Juliane 😅
My mom's story is a bit similar to the first one and how she reached maximum velocity before hitting the Earth. She was at a park and on a ride called the Tarzan swing. It is six stories tall, so about 60 ft. According to the doctors and lawyers, she had reached maximum velocity when the line didn't catch her due to operational failure. Luckily, she survived with two broken ankles, a broken leg, and compound fractures in her back. A few years on, and she is able to walk for short distances
Not a human, but my dog
My dog survived Parvo
For those who don’t know, Parvo is an awful virus that dogs can get that’s very deadly.
My dad stayed awake for a week straight caring for her, and right after she got better my mom had me :D
I can’t believe that the man survived being shot with a radiation beam, that’s incredible.
Maybe sometime in the future, a treatment for premature ageing will be invented.
it happened few months back when was going on a vacation with my mom dad and my brother . During Tuesday morning we had to go to see the snow point at manali , India so we got up early and went on for a 2 hr ride to reach the mountain . once we reached . we had to climb some path to reach the point . It was not an easy task as we had to climb on a slippery ,rocky and snowy path to reach the snow point . Some people there sold some sticks so that we dont slip . so it was all good at 1st , we went up and spent 3 hrs at the snow point and did some sports but when we had to come down things didnt go well . my dad was helping my mom to come down and i was with my brother coming down the path . I have no clue what actually happened to me but i slipped and speeded to the other side of the rocky and slippery path , my dad yelled for my safety but i could't control myself as i was too fast and after sometime i almost hit a sharp rock . Yes almost . it was just an inch for that rock to go through my head . people were shocked and surprised to see i escaped . a military officer helped me to reach down as i was unable to walk . a day after , i was well and good and my family was happy that i escaped with only minor injuries . That was the most terrifying experience i ever had and im never going to forget it .
So basically dividan lore (basically, he was a super hero that most people don't practically talk about)
And yes, the superhero that I'm talking about is exactly this guy who was hit by the particle accelerator, becoming the superhero we know as dividan
The reason why I chose the name dividan for his super hero name is because his anatomy is divided into 2 parts, one, where is still functioning and one where it is powered by radiation I'm wondering if marvel will think of him being a super hero character for the inspiration 🤔
Some of these we already know. They were featured in past episodes of this series. 👍 if you remember.
I was just about to ask the same thing. I definitely remember the stories starting from the orcas attack; I binge watched his older series a couple days ago so I'm pretty sure about those stories are repeated here
It also happens with the darwin award series.
This was really fun and interesting. Please make this a serie
the "podcast" joke was pretty funny
Be amazed never fails to disappoint us (not a bot)
Make this series the most big series in the world
Be amazed is be awesome 😎
And what’s even crazier is that if Julianne wasn’t in that middle seat, she would’ve been fatally spinning while free falling and she would’ve never have survived it.
Never go skydiving because your parachute sometimes not work
Very rarely.
I am glad of you. I am so happy that you put big bang theory in this. It was so amazing to see big bang theory. I love them I loved. I loved all the characters. First time I watch Big Bang theory before this, so yeah I’m pretty happy you should watch community.
The first one was so sad tbh but it was cool 😢 😎
Maggots may be gross, but they clean out the dead tissue in wounds. They are even used in clinical settings for this purpose. The gasoline would've caused more damage.
Those stranded turtle eaters had the hair of their era.
You have consumed my whole week. Lol I am stuck on binge watching you. I'm getting educated and comedy entertainment all in one.😂😂
It's actually often better to leave maggots in an infected wound despite how gross it sounds. Maggots (some species at least) only eat the rotten flesh and leave healthy tissues undisturbed. It's actually done sometimes when someone has a severely infected wound leading to necrosis, because the maggots are surprisingly efficient, and a surgeon would struggle cutting away the rotting tissue without taking some healthy away. Leaving the rotting tissue is a certain death sentence, as it will eventually lead to sepsis; an infection of the bloodstream (which is sterile normally). When you've reached that point even the best doctors can do very little for you other than wait and hope you'll pull through (which is highly unlikely).
Bro I was just watching be amazed like an hour ago and he just posted a new vid is so good 1 in a million chances! 😂
Wow.. just wow
To answer your question, Be Amazed... Yes, I think I could survive in the jungle. I don't think I'd be able to survive like Juliane did, but if I had the right supplies, I think I could survive for a time.
The people in this series are literal invincible
I think the story of Juliane Koepke was the most incredible story of survival. There was several other people who survived the crash but later perished. Not sure if any of the other occupants were still in their seat when they hit the ground. Because of her survival skills in the jungle she was able to make it out alive. Watching the story on Anatoli Bugorski I felt like he had a good chance of surviving since the radiation was highly focused. Although I was unsure of how his life would turn out after the accident.
ur vids are always amazing
I'd like you make a story of St Elmo's Fire! One particle story. When an aircraft flew from England to Australia.
Guess what in the second one I got an ad about chemicals being dangerous 😂
Oh and can you make more vids about cool gadgets and life hacks those are so rad.
Anyway I really like ur channel be amazed it has so much interesting content.
These are amazing stories. Very lucky.
It's no one but God that has been with them and kept these people to survive these traumatic experiences. When the situations in life has the odds stacked against you showing you that you not gonna make it and all hope is lost for you, God steps in and works supernaturally and says, "You shall not die, but you shall live. You shall make it through this." All praise honor and glory belongs to God! Thank you Jesus for never leaving us nor forsaking us. He always has His hands covering over us. The good God that we serve! Amen!
Not only these people, but He's been keeping all of us. It's only because of His grace and mercy that we live to see another day.
Also God: Yeah Ima torture people
the first one was CRAZY AND INSPIRING thats so cool!
This is the most intriguing and intense stories out of all the parts to these vids

Just like Be Amazed profile picture...😲.
Tinnitus doesn't just make a ringing sound. A high pitched squeal, white noise, high winds and hearing distorted music are quite common too.
I once read a Readers Digest story of a WWII RAF Lancaster bomber getting shotdown. The plane was in flames, the tailgunner position was so tight he had to take off his chute to man the turret. His parachute was beyond a hatchway and burning. Faced with burning or jumping from 20,000 feet chuteless, he jumped. Snow was heavy on the ground and in the trees, the tree branches broke his fall, as did the snowbank he landed in. Captured by the Germans, his legs broken, they didn't believe his story til they found the plane's wreckage, and his paracute was still in there, scorched and burnt. He spent the war as a POW.
Podcasts.. good one 😂
All of these were mentioned in previous parts of this series.
