I looked at the bar some years ago and thought that Hobie was particularly proud of it - the price seemed outrageously high, I still feel the same, and my sense of balance still sucks. Perhaps I will cough up some day.

I am of the same persuasion. I would only stand up if I intended to go swimming, as that would be the inevitable results. I laughed whe he mentioned stepping down into the Hobie at a dock - I have to hold on to the seat as I still don't have the bar.

Great video i just purchased a H Bar used that came off an Outback, and i have a PA12. My question is what is the total length of the center tube so i can install on my PA12 Also where can i purchase the center tube?
