Wait so there is another filter besides the one on my ceiling?
Should have mentioned it’s not a good idea to store open filters in the attic. They are getting more dirty than the one you take out.

Mine is like that but on the left side. I use the 4” one in mine. After the house build the 1” one was so clogged from the construction dust air would barely pass through it. So if you buy a new home check that thing!
Alot.of.people.dont.even know the hvac units in attic use filters . Most.people are just use to one's you.see in ceiling metal vent cover that you change every 3 months

Do some not have it ? I have lived in my home for 3+ years and never changed a filter up there ...i have 3 intakes in the home that have filters that i change regularly

Great video..Finally found a video that shows all! I have the same style unit and you clearly showed a full video of what kind of unit you have and which way the arrow is supposed to go thru perfectly.
