The rx2 screen will indicate which tracks can be mixed in key. You will notice a green icon replacing the bpm icon next to the actually bpm value when browsing
im just glad we are done with laptops. just plug and play. laptops are for request.

Laptops will never go away. Especially for “Open Format DJs”. USBs work better for clubs and festivals but not mobile.

Just bought the MkI in May and I love it. I'm not seeing anything that would make me upgrade. I literally was on the Pioneer DJ website on Monday and this wasn't there. Since there is no Cat5 link and it's now over USB, would I be able to sync this to the Toraiz SP-16 in stand alone mode? That was my one gripe with the XDJ-RX that and the plastic feeling hot cue pads. LOL
The xdj-r1 freezes up (not to be confused with the xdj-rx1) and I have to power off and back on. There are tons of negative reviews online for the same issue on that controller. I'm skeptical about getting another pioneer controller. Have you had any issues with the RX2?
Can I use this with a large external hard drive such as a USB 3.0 4tb Passport? I know it will take forever to build all the overviews, I am just wondering on library size limitations

gixxerboy555 geluids kwaliteid weet ik niet efecten zijn nu verbeterd bij deze en het gebruik stand alone vind ik fijn en dan kan niet met de ddj maar wel met de xdj
Ik bedoel het "opgenomen" geluid op USB (treble & bass)...klinkt het mooi zuiver of "plat"/"vlak"? Of moet ik daarvoor naar een "duurder" toestel uitkijken zoals de Nexus2 bvb?Is de opname eventueel te manipuleren met een equalizer?Srry voor mijn "vele" vragen?Punt is: als "audio-fiel" ben ik gesteld op een mooi "kwaliteits"- geluidsbeeld..

I was wondering, the eq's are markes as eq or iso..but where is the switch?
It's in the Utility menu, same as the MK1. Only takes a few seconds to change

Yes, it has. The volume knob is just above the beat effects, on the same level as the Trim and Master Level knobs.

For some reasons you sometimes need an extra line input... now you have it. I don't know whether to laugh or cry at this pioneer, clearly don't give a crap about what your users want, just trying to fill the unit with nonsense features.
And still the labels for mics are still in the place where the DJ can't see it

No, the first model did not. But seeing as how Pioneer released the NXS2 then the XDJ1000mk2, both of them supporting FLAC, the logical progression would have been that every unit going forward would support FLAC/ALAC. You know, for continuity sake? But they didn't. They dropped the ball. Super disappointing!!!

‡ i know.lol they just gotta keep it simple and DJ. This controller makes it so you dont ever have to use your computer unless you download a last min request. Other than that you can DJ computer free and type on the QWERTY touch screen to easily find your song! Amazing! Lol

Als je een review in het engels gaat doen, zorg dan ook ff dat je iemand uitkiest die niet zo ongelofelijk gebroken engels praat. Dit is gewoon beschamend voor je imago en ondanks dat hij heel uitgebreid is kan ik er niet naar luisteren
