Having the Gotham by Gaslight Batman on order I felt this was a must/and it’s amazing. I can definitely see this being way too much $ after the Bats releases. Glad I jumped on it now. Great review!
Mr Banks, great to see this review this fast!,ordered mine & just waiting for him to ship, got a G.B.G.L Batman on order too, can't wait to get that, saw this & had to add him, great accessories, hopefully the hat won't damage the hair paint over time?! Thanks for the video 👍
Hey Paul The hat has rubbed off some of my paint So be careful or add a barrier of some kind before you start putting it on and off. You got it killah. The articulation and costume part didn’t get included by accident. And I had to film that shit like 4x.🤦🏻♂️
If mezco and hot toys can have figures ready to go for a con, and these online cons are going to be a new normal, why NOT have 2 or 3 ready to ship figures drop throughout the year. These POs that dont come out for 18+ months are frustrating lol
That’s to use the NRDs to offset the cost of even getting them up and running. Honestly, I really don’t like it either. I’d rather order something that I know I’ll be getting inside of 3 months and not 3 years.
Unwilling to pay the $500+ for the deluxe and absolutely hating the Clown Prince of Crime edition, this was an absolute must for me. The Conrad Veidt likeness was a stroke of brilliance. I love the Victorian aesthetic, but I also think he will look good with my modern Two-Face and Sovereign Knight Batman. I sadly missed the short window for the retail price, but got him on ebay for an acceptable mark up ($176 after tax).
Hey Jango, I saw a lot of people hating on this. Thinking it was gonna be cheap and not sell out. I knew that wasn’t gonna happen. You’ll be satisfied.
@@RedCupReview You were 100% correct. Mine arrived yesterday and I instantly fell in love with the figure. If anything I am actually glad I never got any of the previous releases because I may have passed on this one. He looks great with my other Batman Mezcos!
Great News! Very happy your happy, even with the mark up🤘 Enjoy and all the happiness to you. That can burn people sometimes, (not getting it before the sell out) but I’m very much still digging him.
Just ordered a 1/12 medical table to pair with him. Wonder what random figure I dont need that i can cut up and paint to put with him lol. Awesome review bro!
Crazy how this one rushed out but still waiting on the 1989 Batman. Also I'm glad the Joker haves the neck and head movement combo instead if a solid piece like the others. Still a great Joker figure but definitely doesn't feel worth the price tag I would've loved an actual laughing face even another smiling face that's not looking to the side since they used the conrad veidt photo from the movie as a reference to the man who laughs where he's looking at the side smiling instead if straight. Also I know they tried to mix Jack the ripper with this joker but I still would've loved some clown themed stuff like a jack in the box and him at least having a pistol of some kind. Even if he's supposed to be a combo of Jack the ripper and the Joker. I still would've loved more stuff to fit Joker's character. Still a great figure as always and I hope we get re-releases of other jokers with this new body also the one tool with the handles I looked it up it's suppose to be an artificial leech device that makes holes on the body. A lot of the weapons our Victorian surgical tools they used for surgeries. Like the hack saw was used for amputating limbs.
Spot on there. The gun might be a DC licensing problem going forward. We will see, but supposedly DC has outlawed any guns or gun like weapons for every one of their characters going forward. I hope I’m wrong.
@@RedCupReview Yeah it's really stupid. They act like adults don't collect these figures. Plus just cuz "kids" like these characters doesn't mean they don't know all these villains use guns. Also I edited my previous comment explaining the tools being all victorian style surgery tools. Especially the one with handles you didn't know which I looked up is a an artificial leech device since back then they believed using leeches can cure any treatment by having them suck the blood out of you say if you have a headache, stomach problems and such so the artificial leech device was used to clamp onto people and punch holes to drain blood. Still I think it's an interesting combo mixing jack the ripper with Joker despite the original Gotham by Gaslight had Jack the ripper and Joker never physically appeared in the book
I have it so I'll tell you, single elbow, complete double knees, can look completely down, can't look up and I can not stress that enough he literally can't look up, he has enough tilt, his legs can go about completely forward before it stops, and same for if you want to have him kick, no bicep swivel but there is forearm swivel, hands are on a normal Mezco wrist joint, the ankles actually have pretty generous articulation for a Mezco fig, they can go pretty far up and somewhat down, his arms can go all the way out to do a T-Pose and about all the way up, he can crunch pretty far forwards and somewhat backwards. I think I covered most of it at least.
Gotta look at it like this. It’s basically a con exclusive. Every Con NYCC and SDCC usually has 2 exclusives ready to go. This and the roach were the two.
You're right I understand that. it's just when standard figures like Thanos which go up for pre-order after Conan but come out before Conan I can understand why people get a bit irritated with mezco. Lol anyway probably be out soon enough.
good figure if you are in America, terrible value anywhere else in the world. This is why I don't like Mezco exclusives and being forced into their shipping choice and all the xtra fees
@@RedCupReview Yea once the boarders open back up to regular travel it will be easy to do that. Until then I just can't justify 200Cad for what you get
So sorry man I f-ed up. So pissed, a whole section was left out from the upload. It was a 5 minute breakdown of the outfit and articulation. That’s never happened and now the video it too big to re-upload.
That’s an ugly head sculpt it definitely belongs to a 7 inch figure looks like a lollipop with that skinny body and skinny legs and also that coat fits waaay too big. Glad I didn’t react on impulse and pull the trigger hopefully they make a hush joker in the future.
To each their own my man. I’m not a fan of Jim Lee’s Joker, but I’d be down for a classic comic version, but I think that was supposed to be the MDX. I had it but sold it when I saw how expensive it got.

Good Choice!
These two are gonna look good together.
Thanks for the kind words, dude. Yep, this will go up once bats comes out.
Sorry Everyone,
Just came to my attention that an entire part of the video had been left out.
The whole articulation and clothing part.

Smart man. Awesome!🤘

JK dope looking joker. I wish more companys would do more releases that were just ready to ship like they did con exclusives.
This was probably supposed to be ready like a con exclusive, which was why it was ready to go.

Hey bro glad to see you review this. I couldn’t pass him up I love the creepy 19th century stuff too!
Hey Dez. How’s things?
Yea man I’m a sucker for stuff like this. And he works in horror displays too.
Yeah real versatile definitely fits with the horror or but him in the modern Batman universe it all works
This figure is gaining steam man.
Awesome! Can’t wait to get mine
You’ll be pleased Mr. Android
Damn! Such a fast turnaround!!! Got it so quickly! The figure looks great man!
Yeah man
It’s pretty creepy and nice

Thanks so much Mr Sladdy.
Now I’m gonna have to go do the same. Damn you lol.
@@RedCupReview Careful, most are as expensive as the damn figure! Im suuuper happy though, its gonna look great. Posing is my favorite hobby haha
I’m looking now
I wish he came with myriad accessories but a litany of them will do, I guess
Hahaha
Awesome. Word.
I don’t see the 100 dollar price here……I got it though…….
Yeah, he definitely needed a bit more in accessories or to be like 85-90.00

Articulation?

Hey guys, thanks Zane.
It’s all there in the video. The arm is single, but it does bend forward more than the original single elbows.
Just realized I left a part of the video out.
A whole section leaving it out.
Damn, sorry fellas

19th century was from 1801-1900.
I know it’s confusing, but we’re in the 21st century now.
