I'm a Spanish living in Dublin. I watched the match at home. When it finished my neighbourgs came home to say congrats and have a glass of wine. Irish are the greatest!
Ime English and love football but congratulate the Spanish. They were better team. There is always a lot of hate against the English but I always see Irish and English getting along well here in Birmingham. 😊
I went to a crowded English style pub in the states to watch the final. Only 1 table was going for Spain. It was me (an American with a Spanish parent), a guy from the Canaries, his American gf, and 5 Irish people, one of which was wearing a Spain jersey. It was glorious.
The States are a special place, this people have been misleaded by everybody, using their lack of interest for almost everything out of their country. When they know the truth, they choose the right side.
They wanted England to lose more than Spain to win. These fans next season will be cheering on the same players playing for their clubs as they were booing during the Euro’s.

My mother-in-law was Irish, making my son 1/4 Irish, and we're both proud of that lineage - she was a great lady, super friendly, wicked smart, hard-working nurse & an awesome cook, couldn't get enough of her corned beef and cabbage. También se conservaron e imprimieron textos en gaélico. No es de extrañar q los irlandeses nos tengan más aprecio a nosotros q a sus vecinos.

Los españoles conservamos la cultura irlandesa cuando los ingleses quisieron colonizar culturalmente Irlanda. Fundamos el Real Colegio de los Irlandeses o Colegio de San Patricio de los Nobles Irlandeses en Salamanca para preservar el legado y la tradición católica en Irlanda formando sacerdotes y docentes. También se conservaron e imprimieron textos en gaélico. No es de extrañar q los irlandeses nos tengan más aprecio a nosotros q a sus vecinos.

España e Irlanda siempre han sido países amigos, con un enemigo común, ya sabéis quien. Ambos de tradición católica y que cuando fueron sometidos por los ingleses, muchos irlandeses fueron recibidos en España, algunos de ellos alcanzaron gran prestigio llegando a ser personalidades importantes.
Por otro lado, varios regimientos irlandeses ayudaron a España en la guerra de la Independencia española de los organizadores de los JJOO 2024.
Por último parece que existe bastante relación genética entre el norte de España (Galicia) e Irlanda.
Pues si, 🇨🇮 y 🇪🇸, son países amigos. Saludos.
