I agree. Remington makes the best hulls. I even prefer Remington over the old AA. I have started only buying Remington and Federal High Overall 12 gauge to replace my AA hulls. STS is the best 20 gauge hull also. After them I would take any Remington 20 hull (gun clubs and hunting hulls) then AA.
Great Channel! Keep the content coming. Wanted to share my Dove/Clay load. This load tested by Precision Reloading Win AA HS grey hull - Nobel Sport 209 - 17.5 grns Hodgdon TiteGroup - WAA12-L wad - 7/8 oz #8 Mag. Lead Avg for 5 shot string - 1260 fps @ 6,180 psi
I just loaded up about 180 rds out of the nitros for bismuth goose loads using Hodgons Data and they are freaking solid. I'm sure you are busy with hunting seasons right now but thanks for the video hope you get some more out
Just subscribed. Learning a lot from your videos as I’m just a beginner at this. Can you do a video on wad pressure? I’m using a lee load all and if I push the wad as far as I can then the crimp is badly indented and the shot falls out. If I ease up on the wad then the crimp is good but I’m not sure if there is enough wad pressure. TIA.
Unrelated question you may be able to answer. Just starting to get into reloading. Just bought Cheddite hulls, only thing I could find in 28 gauge. Have you loaded these hulls before and if so what wad did you use? I am hoping that a manufacturer which makes a wad for a 12 ga Cheddite would also make one for a 28 gauge.
I have been watching your videos they are very informative. But I am have trouble finding info in the Lyman 5TH addition about the federal top gun 12 gauge hull is it same as cheddite or a rio ? Can you point me in the right direction?
www.harborfreight.com/9-piece-punch-and-die-set-95547.html This set is what I have. It was more expensive than I would have liked but does a nice job. Some people like this set TEKTON Hollow Punch Set (12-Piece) | 6588 www.amazon.com/dp/B000NPPBYC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_NE0MTMSRE35W2D5N9DYH Either one would make a nice card.
Alliant Steel and Blue Dot probably have the most loads of any for steel shot. I haven’t ever used Lil Gun powder but I hear good things about it in the 20.
I haven’t found anything that drops Alliant Steel reliably. a Hornady Lock n Load powder dispenser will help. I don’t have one but it also weighs the charge as it is dispensed. As far as Blue Dot being dirty that can be true. Blue dot is really a good magnum 12 gauge powder. It really likes pushing heavy payloads. You might look at Hodgdon Longshot.
I really love the Remington hulls 👍🇺🇲

Been on the edge of my seat for 3 months waiting for the next "hull of the Week" video. Hope everything's alright. Really enjoy your videos.
Nice video, would be interested in seeing you load some tps or 3" max steel loads, tungsten loading would be nice too 👌👍👍

That sounds like a good video idea. I will see what I can do.
@@okshotgun great. Looking forward to it

Remington is the best, federal hoa also
Wanted to know if you are from Ar. I would like to see you and learn more about reloading in person

Not a fan of the AA. We have to shoot steel on public land here in south dakota. No wads for steel shot in the AA. Great video keep them coming 👍
How are you making your overshot cards?
I bought a hole punch set from Harbor Freight. The set goes up to 3/4” so it covers a bunch of different sizes.

Hey what’s the top powder to use for 20 gauge steel loads people are saying lil gun is better then Asteel wanted your opinion !
Alliant Steel and Blue Dot probably have the most loads of any for steel shot. I haven’t ever used Lil Gun powder but I hear good things about it in the 20.
Precision Reloading and Ballistic Products have newer data out that may help.
Hey thanks for the quick response ! I can’t help but to read how dirty blue dot is everyone says it leaves a ton of residue
Have you found anything that will reliably feed the alliant steel
