Amazing review man I was recommended your channel by Frank Reynolds, unlike other pretentious channels on UA-cam who just talk about the specs and make a huge fuss about the TV being android and how Netflix and Amazon prime are absolutely essential, but they forget the most important thing, the panel. For a guy like me who owns a PS4 Pro, what really matters is the panel, weather it's a 10 bit panel or what might be the response time lag etc, thanks for shedding light on such features which are hardly covered. With that being said I was hoping if you could make more reviews especially the Iffalcon tvs, the K2A and the new F2A(1080p) models which they claim to be 10 bit panels, I'm a little skeptic though, could you please make a review of some iffalcon tvs?

I bought this TV personally, and after the success of its review I also bought Mi TV 4A. but I can't keep buying more TVs. Great review, very detailed. Had a question - If we install the UA-cam app or any app that allows you to cast, then would it work on MI Tv? e.g. directly casting a video from your phone UA-cam App and casting it to a TV.
There's a feature in UA-cam TV app that allows you to do this, which doesn't 'cast' it from phone, but just plays what you select on your phone in TV app. I've used the phone UA-cam app in review which doesn't support it. But the UA-cam TV functionality will work.

I think the guy who showed a video of PS4 HDR not working used a Mi TV 4C which is a different model. Xiaomi has confirmed that PS4 Pro HDR works on this TV.

No stabilizer needed, it has a power brick built in, unless you live in an area where you get abnormal electrical fluctuations which should affect all your appliances.
Just tell me that will this TV be able to play 4K content that are available on Netflix and other online streaming services as you said that the TV settings are on 1080p so will I be able to watch 4K content???
Watched your MI 55 Inch 4K review. It was a great effort. As per the 4K standard it should have the resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, however it has a resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels which is HD but not 4K. I have checked almost all the 4K TV reviews, they do unboxing stuff, but when it comes to REAL REVIEW of 4K TV every body just skipped that part. I realised that people have least understanding about 4K. When you play a 4K video from youtube it will play well because it has nothing to do with with the TV, it runs on the browser. If you want to check if it is real 4K then try to download a 4K video in a flash drive then try to play (make sure it has prescribed resolution of 3840 X 2160). If it plays its a real 4K, if not then consider you have been played by the company. Last week I purchased a 4K TV from Flipkart, and I proved that the product which was sold to me is HD but not 4K, This matter was escalated to the MD of the manufacturer and the CEO of the Flipkart and then they gave me the refund with apology. So make sure when you purchase any item just connect it with Computer and check the resolution.

I've also tested resolution after plugging in my PC.

So I picked up the 55 'TV last weekend. It's brilliant in every way possible except..... Black levels are terrible. I don't know if it's a defective piece, but any dark scenes I play whether on Netflix, Amazon movies, or a blue ray disc, black / dark scenes are heavily pixelated. I've spent hours tweaking brightness and contrast levels but if the patchy problem becomes better, it then hits other aspects such as clarity. Also, if there are dark scenes, custom tweaking needs to be done separately for each movie or clip. Do any other owners face the same issue?
I found that on default brightness settings the blacks were bad, so I general watch this at 30-50 brightness levels, and black levels are good. Try with MX player if you aren't already using it. Pixelation cannot be a problem of TV panel but the BD player or bad compressed files, or a player playing it on a wrong codec. So make sure those aren't the problem too. There shouldn't be any relation, positive or negative between pixelation and clarity. I am guessing you must've already set the adaptive brightness off, and also checked the dynamic color and contrast settings in advanced settings.
TechReflex firstly, great review. One of the best out there. Coming to the issue, I raised a return request and a jeeves tech came by to check the issue and confirmed that there is definitely something wrong. I've tried adjusting the brightness and contrast levels. Tried everything. The files I am playing plays perfectly on my 8 year old Samsung lcd. I also played movies on Netflix and Amazon prime - same issue with dark scenes. If you have Amazon movies , can you check out the Baywatch movie. There is a scene towards the end @1:36:20. Let me know if your picture is alright. Thanks again for the detailed response.
Sorry for the late reply. The replacement tv was installed. I saw the same issues that i had earlier. However, i came to learn some of the prints available were not that great. My issue with the black levels were greatly improved by tweaking the brightness levels as recommended by TechReflex. I waited for a week before taking the decision to return the tv or keep it - i have decided to keep it. With the settings adjusted the black levels have improved, and at this price i think its worth it overall.
I haven't checked that out, but the display quality is similarly good, and OS and sound is actually better on the Vu TV. Though, design isn't as good as mi TV.

Hey man! Hope you're doing well. there's a new TV doing rounds on the internet, it's called Shinco 55HDR10 by videotex. I hope you can review that TV, from what I've seen on other UA-cam channels it seems like the organization is pretty supportive and can send a review unit if you request for one. On the paper the TV seems better anything else available in the market.
Display quality is similar, design of Mi is better, durability of Vu. OS of Vu is better as it's stock Android TV. Sound of Vu is also better. Mi has Samsung panel which is more reliable. In my opinion, Mi is better.

Anonymous 1012 I actually tried to get a Redmi note 5 pro for review but failed to get in flash sale. That being said, the RN5 pro should easily be better than Mi A1, because of 18:9 Full HD+ Screen, and SD 636, and I really didn't like the SD 625 CPU on Mi A1.

Yes, you can trust Xiaomi, they make long lasting products, and remember that it has a Samsung panel. Also, even if something goes wrong, it's much easier to replace a TV costing 45k, then to replace a TV costing 1-2 lakh.

Thanks. The features are the same, but it has a 1.5 GHz processor instead of 1.8, less powerful GPU, 1 GB of RAM instead of 2, and 4 GB internal storage instead of 8, which isn't the problem at all as it is only a 768p display.

Yes, and you can even connect another Bluetooth keyboard along with Bluetooth remote and speaker, but not any other Bluetooth device. UA-cam doesn't go above 1080p.

Yes, 60 Hz is absolutely enough for TV, it's the standard for gaming, in fact, the signal that you get on your TV will probably be 25 - 30 fps. And even Playstation/Xbox play mostly at 30 fps. Nothing will, too because it has low response time.
No, it has a power brick built in, no need of a stabilizer, though, my home has stable power. Not sure about home theatre, as I always prefer high quality 2.0/2.1 system over 5.1 systems, like Swans m200a mkIII with a good DAC like SMSL Sanskrit.

Yeah, it's at least 38ms, I don't have the equipment to measure it, but you could hear the difference in review which is bad. This TV isn't good for even fast paced casual gaming.

Anonymous 1012 I actually tried to get a Redmi note 5 pro for review but failed to get in flash sale. That being said, the RN5 pro should easily be better than Mi A1, because of 18:9 Full HD+ Screen, and SD 636, and I really didn't like the SD 625 CPU on Mi A1.

Yes, you can trust Xiaomi, they make long lasting products, and remember that it has a Samsung panel. Also, even if something goes wrong, it's much easier to replace a TV costing 45k, then to replace a TV costing 1-2 lakh.

Thanks. The features are the same, but it has a 1.5 GHz processor instead of 1.8, less powerful GPU, 1 GB of RAM instead of 2, and 4 GB internal storage instead of 8, which isn't the problem at all as it is only a 768p display.

Yes, and you can even connect another Bluetooth keyboard along with Bluetooth remote and speaker, but not any other Bluetooth device. UA-cam doesn't go above 1080p.

Yes, 60 Hz is absolutely enough for TV, it's the standard for gaming, in fact, the signal that you get on your TV will probably be 25 - 30 fps. And even Playstation/Xbox play mostly at 30 fps. Nothing will, too because it has low response time.

No, it has a power brick built in, no need of a stabilizer, though, my home has stable power. Not sure about home theatre, as I always prefer high quality 2.0/2.1 system over 5.1 systems, like Swans m200a mkIII with a good DAC like SMSL Sanskrit.

Great review brother. Could you please the input lag in ms, both in and outside game mode? I read in one of the reviews that it's 38 ms which is quite high even for casual offline games like uncharted, god of war, call of duty or GTA. Plz advise.
Yeah, it's at least 38ms, I don't have the equipment to measure it, but you could hear the difference in review which is bad. This TV isn't good for even fast paced casual gaming.
