- Here is the all new/brand new from Nitecore TM9K TAC flashlight kit.
This is a tiny monster flood light. This is sporting Cree XP-L2 HD LED's which provide a large wide flood beam performance. This is running on an internal 21700 cell. This uses a USB Type C charging system for quick charging of the battery. This is compact but a solid and rugged in its construction. This will put out 9800 lumens in short bursts. This looks tactical but can be used for EDC as well. UI is simple to navigate thru. See link and my special discount code below:

I have an SRT6 From Nitecore and have loved it for many years and yes I have had to change the battery....For some reason I tend to shy away from lights that have a "Built in Battery"...That's my story and I'm sticking to it...great Review as always Charles...Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Always love your reviews Charles!
Thank you 😊
Thanks for watching!
Just got this sucker for Xmas from the wife!
Sooooo sick!
This will be my fourth nitecore flashlight.
Not including the few I’ve lost!😂
Nice wife! Thanks for watching!
i watch this video 2times already.. great review..i just got my new TM9k Tac.. thanks charles!
YW! Thanks for watching!
Hey Charles! Great & thorough video review! Based on your review....I went ahead & ordered my TM9K TAC direct from Nitecore (had a small discount coupon). Can't wait!
Great. Hope you like it. Thanks for watching!
You convinced me Charles. I want one, ASAP!
Thanks for watching!
Hopefully your channel will help me decide what flash light to get next month. 🇬🇧👍
Thanks for watching!
Thank you for reviewing this, did you see any PWM on the TM9K TAC? Because the original TM9K has.
No PWM. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec I finally got my hands on the TM9K TAC, can't believe it was so small in personal😂. Then the SMO reflectors combined with the coated glass seems to have a tempered purple look to it.
Bring back the "Into the Wilderness" intro, it's much better than the jet sound intro.
I may bring it in future videos here and there. Thanks for watching!
Great video! How long does it stay on the 2000 lumen mode?
I will cycle a little but will stay at that level until battery drains. Thanks for watching!
I want to purchase this light, but I’m hoping that I can have 2000 lm for at least 20 minutes.
@@JohnScering It's cycles Dow to about 1300 lumens sustained if I remember correctly.
Do you know how long it stays at 2000 lm before it goes to 1300?
I can't remember for this is an old review, but it does well.
Hi Charles, I just got the Tm9k tac, and overall LOVE it. One thing though, on an initial button push whether mode button or the main button or and brightness level , the light fails to come on for the first second or so. Any time after the initial start, every start after that comes on instantly . Is this normal or is this going to develop into an issue later on??.thanks👍
Not normal. Thanks for watching!
Nice compact floody light, I like the look of it
Thanks for watching!
hey charles , been looking at this light. i want a compact as possible with max output for the money , this is awesome is there better out there (compact) in your opinion ? also people think lumen output is everything but the kelvin scale is better ? is this correct ? if so what is this lights kelvin output ? thanks charles great video and thanks for sharing .
Kelvin temps are a preference. I prefer 5000k or cooler. This would do well on any light output. Thanks for watching!
I'm really wondering what's the mode button made of, is it metal, plastic or a rubber?
Plastic. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec thanks for the information, appreciate it
@@flashlight_hunters YW!
Hey Charles, everywhere i look, its advertised as 9500 Lumens. Is there a 9500 AND a 9800? Or do u think its an advertising error. This includes Amazon, advertising it as 9500. Just curious.
I am not seeing 9500 lumens anywhere. I see only 9800 lumens advertised. Previous model is 9000 lumens. Thanks for watching.
Damnit Charles, you just made me spend more money on this light. Ohhh man….. my wife is gonna kill me! Wife: “AGAIN??? HOW MANY DAMN LIGHTS DO YOU NEED? Are you trying to light up the moon?! “. True story!!! LOL.
LOL. You are a Flashaholic. Thanks for watching!
🤭 I'm really tempted to buy it too. Just tell your wife its Charles's fault😁
Just like the Michael Jackson song “ You are not alone.” I’m a flashlight enthusiasts as well. My brother calls me a flashlight geek. He just doesn’t understand. I’m about to pull the trigger on this newer version. Here’s a suggestion, I keep my lights in a case. My wife knows I have a few but does not know how many. At least I don’t think she does. Lol. We never know how many shoes, boots or pocketbooks they have …so go for it. I really wish the battery was removable and the lumen spacing was like 9800, 4000, 2500, 1000, 500, 150, and. moonlight.
What does the sealed battery have to do with output? Several other manufacturers have managed to make similar (and higher) output lights in the same form without doing that?
Because of lumen output for a single cell light of others are maybe 7000 lumens is possible but 9800 lumens Nitecore chose to seal and use a direct connect to the battery. I explain this in video as well. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec Astrolux.EA01S is 11000 lumens, and takes a regular 26650.
@@MrSimonj1970 EA01S? LOL yeah a single quad XHP50.2 LED is nothing compared to 9 Cree LED's which also uses a bigger cell. Nitecore wanted size to stay thinner and tactical. Anyways the draw on the Nitecore is way more on its battery.
Hey Charles, hope you’re doing well! Good review, and this appears to be a good improvement on the former TM9K light. Ya know I’m a Nitecore guy through and through, and I tried the TM9K, and whilst it was no doubt an incredible torch, I sent it back. The light output was not in question, and I realize its a ‘mule,’ I just didn’t care for the flood beam out in the wilderness. The limit on Turbo was silly, and the intense heat made for a less than pleasant experience. The Strobe is SICK, literally and figuratively! I realize it’s a huge output, and the LED’s are being driven hard on Turbo, but I could never get more than 7-8 seconds on Turbo. Yes, it can be put back into Turbo, but the heat becomes intense. This version appears to be an improvement, but I feel Nitecore kinda missed the Mark with this light, just MHO. ALWAYS enjoy your reviews! Having served in the USAF, the jet intro kicks arse! Stay well my friend! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍✌🏻😁🇺🇸🔦
Thanks for the support and watching!
Wow nice flashlight.. Nice video 👍
Thanks for watching!
Hi. Mine did not include the clip and U was unable to find it on their website… any suggestions? Thank you, Amalia
Contact the seller who sold it to you. Thanks for watching!
Nice light. However would love a product like this that had a long tube like those Maglite flashlights, then you could hold like 10 batteries in it, and get minutes at max instead of seconds. Anything like that out there with this kind of output?
Yes you can check out my reviews of the Sofirn SP70 or Speras P10R to name two I reviewed. Thanks for watching!
I'm wondering why Nightcore cannot achieve 9800 lumens with a removable battery while other companies like imalent can do 13,000 lumens with a removable 21700 battery
They are working with there dual fuel designs for possible future release. Thanks for watching!
Sucks that I cannot remove the light head from the body. I am not comfortable to bring such flashlight onto a flight without removing its battery or light head. Can't risk a fire onboard when something turns the flashlight on in my suitcase.
It does have digital lock out. Thanks for watching!
Built-in battery ?
No thanks mister Nitecore (I have already several form them, I search one more 'tactical' like the MH25S, was curious with that TM9K but built-in battery :/)
Thx for the review
Thanks for watching!
is the TAC a different model? or is there only one tm9k model. if so what's the difference?
There are two of which I did reviews on my channel. Thanks for watching!
Very High price for a Light that can only hold Turbo for 4 seconds.
Holds longer than 4 seconds. Thanks for watching!
Please reply to me can sealed batteries be replaced if they wear out
Battery is not user replaceable. Thanks for watching!
What is the use if the trubo last not even a minute??? I got the 10000 lumen fenix lr35r and the trubo holds for more than an hour !
LOL Fenix LR35R will not run 10k lumens for no hour. No high powered light is designed to run turbo constantly. Thanks for watching!
Hi.I have the previous model,ie TM9K.So,what is the difference between the two?
The new version is brighter than older version and includes a larger ,Ah battery and tactical ring. Thanks for watching!
How is this light compared to Lumintop FW21 pro?? Since they both have similar 10K output
I did reviews of both so let me know what you think. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec, I currently own the FW21 pro… love the brightest, just not an fan for the Anduril UI. Which one is your favorite and think is better?
how do i lower the brightness? i held down the mode button and it got crazy bright. i don't understand this little UFO lol.
Click the mode switch. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec thanks lol.
Le mode turbo dure a peu pres combien temps avanzt la luminosité chute
Et pareil pour mode 2000lumen
Turbo is about 8 seconds. 2000 lumens depends really on your environment temperature which can change how light will perform. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec je suis agent sécurité et j'ai besoin pas mal de puissance je doute que le turbo dur pas longtemps mais si je l'allume sur 2000 lumen combien temps sa dur avant sa chute
Well, if you watch my review, I show turbo over and over. Which is about 8 seconds.
@@CharlesBridgTec si je reste en mode 2000 lumen elle tien vraiment 2h ou sa chute aussi vite comme le mode turbo

Only getting 480p is that because you have just posted. 🇬🇧👍❓

Does your "mode" button rattle?
No. Thanks for watching!
how long can we use this tm9k tac with only using the turbo
I show this in video. Thanks for watching!
@@CharlesBridgTec ouh really how can I miss it
Yep in the night shots.
good flashlight, I hope I can buy it later because the price was quite expensive for me before I went blind because of retinitis pigmentosa (tunel vision) which makes my eyes only see 20% now
Sorry to hear that. Thanks for watching!
What is your no. 1?
Nitecore TM26GT is my all time favorite. Thanks for watching!
Can the flashlight zoom?
No. Thanks for watching!
Nice ♥️♥️♥️😊

Everything looks good until you say the battery is built in and sealed..no good I pass ..
