Egypt is amazing. Keep it on your bucket list. We visited with Viking River Cruises in 2010. Worth every Penny we spent. I want to start the Egyptian Chatelaine as my next project. Your stitching is beautiful and inspiring.😊
So wonderful to meet you in person at Stitch North! Your Teresa Wentzler looks SO GOOD!! Really good true white thread colors seem so hard to find, at least ones that are easier to stitch with. Love seeing your progress on Cinderella… so beautiful, I’d love to start it soon, I’m thinking of doing a color conversion. All your Miras look just amazing! Looking forward to Part 2! 😃
Love watching your flosstubes! I’m also a “shag rug” style full coverage stitcher, mostly as a result of losing my scissors 😅 I don’t mind the effect though, it’s cool to see how many threads were used on big pieces like that.
Oh no!! Where is part two?!?! 😂😂😂 Soooo great to meet you in person! I had a blast hanging out. Your mom's TW looks amazing. I have to admit, I've never seen a back look like that. 😂The front looks great and that's all that matters!😊
Omg I’ve been trying to get part 2 up since last Monday. UA-cam has not been my friend this past week. I’m so glad to have gotten to meat you in person too!
I would use ANYTHING other than rayon thread! (smile). I think that in comparison with your other colors, the white Mori would be fine, but if you won't be happy when you look at it, then I'd use something else. I love seeing everything that you're working on.. and usually end up saying "oh, I should start that too!"
Well of course we want to see Freya! Um, yeah, I thought it was a shag carpet too! I've never in my life seen anything like that on cross stitch. Sure doesn't look anything like the front, which is gorgeous! I think this piece lends itself to framing right up to the edge. Garden Beauty had me doing a double take, so pretty! Please be kind to yourself about the Chatelaine. You had surgery that impacted your stitching. Looking forward to part 2!
Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!

Thank you! I did a Viking River Cruise in Europe several years ago and loved it. Egypt will definitely stay on my list!

Lol I’m glad it’s not just me that doesn’t like the rayon! Thanks for the suggestion, and for watching!
I use Dinky Dyes Natural when I need a white silk. If you wanted that shine - maybe petite treasure braid - PB47 or pb23?
Thanks for the suggestions!
