My daughter does Rover as a side job and at the end of this month she will have made around $3,400 taking care of Dogs and Cats 😊 plus over a $300 in cash tips 🤗
Does she have the pets stay at her home?
Where is this? Like in a large city such as Chicago?
I do Instacart and have a 5 star rating and have been doing it for 2 years. Just wanted to let you know that you don't have to contact the customer when a product is not in stock. Sometimes the customer will give you a replacement item or you choose a product that is as close to what they wanted and scan it in. The customer is notified when a substitution is made and what the item is then they can message you if they don't like it. You don't have to stop everything and message them. I usually have about 20 minutes extra when I'm done shopping.
Yeah instacart for me is S tier I consistently hit $300-$500 on weekends each day ($600-$1,000 for whole weekend) and $150-$300 on weekdays and I also do DoorDash in between only the best orders
For some reason customers will think you're a horrible human being for not messaging them 😂 that then has us nervous because we all want to stay at a higher rating. Don't message the customers and that can lead to low ratings unfortunately. Not always but you never know
@@stevee2639this is true ! That’s why I make sure to send an initial message before I start shopping and I communicate when things aren’t available because not everyone sees the notifications and some will wait until you’re about to checkout to start saying to replace bad replacements in their opinion. It’s easier for me to beat them to it and ask so I don’t have to back track and spend more time looking.
I tip more when the person adds that extra service. Messaging me and telling me something isn't in stock and offer me something different. I've also delivered with Instacart and realize most people don't respond half the time. So, maybe I'm just a one off.
I’ve done rover for about a year. It’s alright. I stopped doing it tho cause it was a pain to pack my stuff up to go stay at someone else’s house. It got old quick. Also a lot of clients want you to stay at the house watching the dog like 24/7 and only leave the dog alone for an hour or less. I refuse working with neurotic people anymore
I do the Amazon Flex early in the morning finish and 7:30 then I do food deliveries wherever I am at.
Was there a wait
This year I did instacart,point-pickup,spark,door dash and Uber eats I’ll finish the year with 160k Southern California market. But next year looking to trade stocks and shift towards driving less and working smart not hard.
That’s a good strategy, driving apps are simple and can have a decent hourly pay but it involves some grinding. I’m a big fan of real estate and selling a product/course/service
The benefit of being a Shipt shopper is building a client base since they do preferred shoppers. If you build a good base and communicate well and keep your stats up, you can do very well. I do it very casually, but my friend does it part time and has about 20 regular clients that will tip $20-40 each shop. 2Shipt also lets you stack orders, so I will do 2-3 per hour (sometimes even 4). Even without the huge client base my friend has, I average $30-40 an hour.
I recently got approved for Shipt but Havnt had any orders yet
I’ve been averaging $30 hour since I started in 2020.
Honestly Amazon flex is worth it when they give you a neighborhood or apartment complex. But when they make you trek to the mountains and rural areas
Yeah or the gated ranch communities with no codes!
Point pick up is great. I made 1100 a week 6 weeks straight. A lot of 50 dollars run for under 30 miles and 12 or less drops everytime. The wait time is the problem
This is a seriously high value video. Amazing job and thank you for doing the research. Wether one wants to do these or not this is a seriously educational video.
Means a lot thank you!
I agree
I live in a very rural area where most of these jobs probably don’t exist, but I am exciting to try the survey one!
This video is of great quality and research. Thank you for an overview and I think we really enjoyed your opinion on the pros and cons and where you would rate them!
This was well done and interesting, thank you
I appreciate that TurboSol thank you
U Do a Great Job Mike .. Merry Christmas to you & yours.. Thank U!
Great info and video!!
The first video I ever saw of yours on May 29, 2023, after my first day of Dashing, you said, "Congratulations, you are betting on yourself ". I took that to heart and to test. It was awesome for the summer, but now there is a gremlin that I have had to try to battle at midnight when the 5 day out schedule is released. The gremlin literally takes 16 hours !! Our small real community in Woodstock, VA used to all play nice so we could all get paid. NOPE!! THANKS DOOR DASH FOR ALLOWING 1 PERSON TO BREAK THE SYSTEM TO WHERE 30 SECONDS AFTER MIDNIGHT THE ENTIRE DAY AND NIGHT ARE TAKEN BY 1 PERSON!! I HAVE SCREENSHOTS TO PROVE IT!!!
Excellent. Thank you for presenting the plethora of choices for 1099 businesses. Blessings to you, sir.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience.
Thanks KC!
Watching from Raleigh. Great videos and so helpful!
Mike…tuning in from right here in Pittsburgh, but my brother in Raleigh NC catch u first.
I just started DD two weeks ago.
Good stuff. Appreciate ur info and knowledge.
☮️ eric
I've had really good luck with spark but part of the reason is probably because of the market I'm in... Overall it's paying probably twice as much as DoorDash with the same effort (or easier)
Hi Mike! Thanks for all the great info all these years. Where do i sign up for your UA-cam course? Thanks!
Spark has been having huge app issues recently people wait 3-5 months to be accepted and then they'll br 2 or 3 weeks with out any orders. Or sometimes you'll wait 1h+ outside the store for them just to tell you the order never even got processes in their system and you get a $2 pay for 1h+ of waiting and the order gets canceled.
Hey Like your videos! You need to do a video on smartphone requirements and considerations for doing side hustles through apps.
Thanks for doing this video, good job! It would be cool if you would edit the auto captions, especially for any weird company names.
Appreciate your efforts here. Haven't started on any of these app's. But I'm considering starting. Your information is most helpful.
Glasgow, VA. Nice job.
I’ve done Roadie back a few years ago. Back then there was a lot of luggage pickup @ the airport, which was a headache. Both San Diego’s Phoenix airports. San Diego’s pickup area was over next to a firefighter/police training house which is kind of cool. Other than that if you have a truck or van and are willing to transport goods for a long distance for $$$. However this road trips wildly vary depending on the city New York Los Angeles and Chicago are best
Great thx for putting all these in one place
A note on medical courier:
This is going to the one that explodes in the next five years. All of the baby boomers - all 70 million of them - will be senior citizens by 2030. The silent generation was only 19 million.
Do you have any idea how much medical “stuff” older adults need picked up/delivered in a single week?! There are nowhere near enough drivers doing this right now, which means long wait times on critical needs. And the need is going to get bigger. MUCH bigger.
Take it from a nurse with a decade and a half working in hospice, home health, rehab, and nursing home - the need for DME, pharmacy, and lab work delivery is going to skyrocket. I promise you that.
We need to talk about paying taxs 😅 for example Robinhood with capital gains, Doordash with income tax, Offer up is not taxed due to being all cash, and etc. Not saying we gotta avoid taxs but tax really effect total income for each side hustle.
U have same name as my truck
Hampr is interesting as far as concepts go, I remember when every laundromat offered wash and fold services, not so much these days, plus those required you to drop off, so I can see where the idea came from.
Turo is really good if you can get cars for cheap to rent on there full time especially if the monthly payments are cheap
Rover is great in that you can set your pricing and you can see how much rover will take. But, you really have to work at creating a client base. Wrapify is a great idea if you drive for uber doordash etc and it protects your vehicle surface.
Thank you Mike for the pure gold in this video!
Good value video
Love this video, very helpful. My only ‘critique’ would be that you left out a MAJOR side gig genre; language exchange. I just came across your videos so idk if you have another video on these.
Hi which is the Major side gig , please 😊
I'm a real estate investor. How I started was utilizing my credit line.
I'm happy about options for the pay being to low because that needs to change. I'm in the larger order and catering program, and platinum program. I still get those orders that say $4.75 going 7.6 miles. My acceptance rate stays above 80%
With the prop 22 changes in California it makes instacart extremely viable. Being paid for the shopping time on larger longer orders turns into savings on gas and less depreciation of the vehicle. Communicating with customers isn't much of a hassle tbh. Most in my marketplace are pretty active in responding but regardless you are paid for the time you spend communicating with customers. The amount of gas and maintenance is much less than the constant stop start and constant driving with hustles like doordash. Especially with gas prices in Cali. Expenses on gas and mileage driven weekly is how I gauge my profit margin.
The Bigger Pockets community is one of the best education resources with multiple podcasts for your next chapter in real estate.
Nice work 🎆✨
Thanks Jeff
Shopping orders on spark at Walmart are my favorite because the aisles are so well labeled in the app it usually a breeze. Most orders are around 20-25 bucks and I shop and deliver within 45 minutes. I don't have to worry about long waits at the curbside pickup which can be hours in our zone making it not worth it. My best days delivering usually has at least 3 shopping orders.
I agree.. I've shopped so many times at Walmart I already know where everything is and it's a breeze
Very true when I did my shopping request I did like how every isle was labeled
Sams Club isn't bad either. Some of them can be heavy but they tend to offer generous bonus pay. They are at $24 per delivery bonus from 2 to 4 pm today and tomorrow. Went out for it and netted $81 for 2 hours... and that is by accepting no tip orders.
@@mlkrgr is that through the Spark app or is there a separate one for Sams?
Yes I agree
I stop Turo, renter alway trash my van
Liking the info. Thanks for all your work into getting the info to us. I'm from South Carolina and will be checking out the rest of your vids!
One thing i did find that may help.?. Wearing earbuds makes the teeth suck/kiss sound really loud..
I've been doing bunjii since spring of this year. You can make some decent money. You have to be mindful of what you are delivering tho. For instance, people that want there whole apartment moved and it only pays 30 or 40 bucks. You also need to be mindful of the value of the things you will be moving. So times it's just not worth the risk. I had a built in refrigerator on one that was valued at around 3500. If anything would have happened to it, I would have been liable for it. They do deliverys from stores like floor and decor, tile shop, etc. They usually pay more but there's more lifting involved. Like a 1400 lb pallet of tile. Actually perfer those ones becuase the store loads the pallet in the truck and then ur just responsible for unloading in the garage when you arrive at the destination. Really cut and dry!
Shout out to ya, Mike!-:() Thx. for this informative and helpful breakdown and ratings on different side husstles!-:() Always appreciate your output on gig life!-;() Take care and keep on grinding, man!-:()
Thanks TubeyV!

I do Respondent, over the last year I've done maybe 5 projects total for them. I would say it's definitely worth it.
As for Spark I absolutely love Shop and Deliver orders. I know everyone has in mind what they want from that app, but S&D you are completely on your own schedule. In other words, no waiting for employees to load your car which really can be the most time consuming thing you do with Spark when they are busy. Even if you get in good with store employees only so much that you can count on. I know the shopping part is not for everyone, but if you don't mind shopping that's where the most money is made. At least in my market (Detroit)
Great tier list though. Makes me think about some other options. I think that's the most important thing for everyone doing gig work is to always be willing to change things up a little. I mostly split between DD and Spark, but I don't mind throwing other gigs in there
I live in detroit too now you got me interested
@@s1rm0rr1lswdsx3 I’d say give it a try. If you can get through a store even somewhat decent they make it extremely easy to find items in most stores. Every item you shop for you are given an aisle and then shelf number so that part is not too hard. And then the check out process is really easy. You scan the QR code when you get to self-scan and then it will tell you that you are good to go in 90% of cases and you just bag the items. Once in a while they come check your cart, but that never takes long.
Only thing I would warn is that Spark continues to lower its base pay which can suck, but I’ve never seen a shop that pays under $16 still and most of the time it’s at least $20. If you can start getting them back to back I can usually get one completely done and back to the store in 40 minutes on average.
I’d say at least try to get on waitlist because their might be one
I haven't minded the shop and deliver so far, although I've only done a couple. Very quick checkout process and the app guides you through quickly once you kinda know the store and how to read the aisle numbers, section, etc.
good job on this video
Thank you and keep the good work pa'. 😘
Watching and checking in from Murfreesboro, TN (30 miles south of Nashville).
I definitely agree with the C for gopuff. I've been driving with them for over a year. When it first started the bonuses were good. You could go out do 25 orders in a day since it was that busy and get a $50 bonus. So you could make 250-$300 in a day. Now you're lucky if you break $200 for an 8 hour day 🤦♀️ I average maybe $19/hr. I'm in the arizona market.
I feel your pain!!! I'm in Phoenix and every side hustle app has been intensely disappointing!! Where's your market at
Denver here, and we're still w2.
Still no VEHO.. Very smart! Still would be interesting to see the drop in morale. Starts off good and then the attitude plummets. I started with very very few drivers. More routes than drivers and the routes needing to get delivered with all drivers out on routes. The panic price offers were getting upwards of 150-225 to do 25 stops. Now it's 34-35 stops for 68$ average. Distance between stops mostly is a killer.
Ayyeeee watching from Florida 😆

Idk if it's possible to share your list and add hyperlinks to maybe referral links to make it easier to sign up for, and you also get a kickback for referrals being a win win?
Single bachelor with a very stable full time job making $75000 as a 29 year old. Doing well but always hungry for more. Started delivering on Door Dash weeknights after work for 1-2 hours, doing rides downtown on Friday and Saturday nights, a little responsible gambling before rideshare shifts, and dog sitting every Sunday, also investing monthly. Effectively making an extra $5000 a year. And the thing is it’s all relief and fun for me
Whats your main job?
You're the shizzle dude, thank you.

Would someone list the side hustles that Mike spoke about? Thanks in advance.
This was a great video, Mike. I drive in the North Pittsburgh area and am interested in other opportunities step up my side hustle.
Thanks for watching Iron Feige!
I work shipt. In the beginning it wasn’t great but now that I have a base of tipping customers it’s lucrative
I actually looked up entrepreneurship in the app store like a dummy and couldn't find it lol 😆
Same
I seem to do better with Uber Eats than Doordash. I typically only work shifts when UE offers "quests". Once I accomplish the quests available, then I will work both aps at the same time by accepting a good offer on one and pausing the other.
This has been my experience as well. I'm still pretty new to this, about 3 months in. I started with DD and did that exclusively for a couple months, and then about a month ago I added Uber Eats so I could multi-app. But I've found with the quests I make considerably more with Uber and there's no point doing DD while on a quest. Also, I don't know why, but tips have been much better on Uber Eats, I've been getting like a 3:1 tip-to-base ratio on UE versus 1:1 on DD. I've heard some people say the quests/bonuses are better when you start out and then go down drastically, so I'll see how it goes.
@@wavion2 gone down?
@@ladariusdavis8699 Yes, dramatically
I also use both DoorDash and Uber eats now I started out with DoorDash, made it to Platinum status I was making over $500 a week driving 4 hours in the evening after my regular job for almost a whole year. I started getting a little burned out so I slowed down just a tad not paying attention to my monthly deliveries which have to stay 100 and above I drop down to 94 and that dropped my status down to gold and I have not been able to get back to Platinum, which really sucks because I'm not even receiving enough pickups to get back to Platinum at this point so I signed up for Uber eats, and now I just tried to work them both. The area that I was working in paid a lot and had really good tips. (California)
What size are the bins Gopuff sends with you?
Lyft started to be shuttle service for dealerships, Medicare, and hospitals also they also added delivery in 2020 for food, prescription, auto parts, and courier services
Doing Spark today… three orders weren’t ready and I waited for over 30 mins, called support and they told me to cancel. I decided to one an offer to shop here since I was here and the one item was out of stock so again, another cancellation. Currently sitting here waiting for the next one and only giving them another 14mins before I cancel this one and then head home.
Wait time here is crazy!!!
My biggest complaint with Spark are those wait times. Would be a stellar app (albeit the commuting back and forth to the stores isn't ideal) if they fixed the wait times
Mike, can some of these stack at the same time? It sounds like I could do DoorDash with a car wrapped by Wrapify and earn crypto with Coin all at the same time. Does it work like this, or do Coin and Wrapify specify where you need to drive specifically?
Can you combine wrapify with other driving apps such as door dash or instacart? Or do u have to drive in certain zones only?
mike you forgot about FUNDRISE for your real estate portfolio, or a REIT
Nah instacart is better than doordash simply taking ten more minutes to find things to get paid double or even triple is well worth it….
Agree
Don’t forget about favor. It’s like a mix of shipt and a mix of doordash/urber eats, only in Texas. HEB bought them recently.
White Tee looks good on you Mike.
Mike, in your Turo example, you are renting a 2015 vw passat, which is often older and lower quality vehicle than you would get from a car rental company like Enterprise or Budget. Why would a customer choose Turo and your vehicle over car rental company? In California this year I have seen weekly car rental rates in town for $500, when maybe just 2 years ago that rate would be 350.
I also appreciate the comment but what happens on taro if somebody's running your car and they get into an accident?
I have door dash and will be doing instacarr soon. Everything else Ive been waitlisted, not giving me an option to go to another city.
I cant work a w2 job, Im desperately looking for full time income but not having much luck
Yes you are so right about Walmart and Sam’s
I'm looking into a side hustle (maybe Amazon flex)but thanks for the info
I'm from North Carolina small town
watching from Puyallup Wa.
What is a good app for making extra money. I am trying to go a different route then doing doordash. I live in the Nola area
i do alot of walmart deliveries on Roadie also. and with Dasher it says 50% acceptance rate will give me more gigs and it's july 2023
Wrapify. Can you do this and other like doordash at the same time?
Wasap bro can u help a brother out im in boston wat can i do to make the most money
Have you done the observa app
Your first 2 videos I watched were good
Uber Eats , I agree its a sold B and its a keeper!
Hey Mike, did you know that Shipt does package routing? It's totally separate from the shopping. You drive to the Target Sortation Center and you get packages and drive a route. I would like to see where that would land on the tier list. I love the channel btw.
@@bckrypto9837 I think it is categorized as a "Shipt Driver" where shopping in store is a "Shipt Shopper"
@@Shannibal_MTG I have never seen it here.
Not in all areas.

Thanks 🙂 .
Seeing Robin hood warms my heart. Bless you 🙏🏼
I like the platform, I just want something easy. I know it’s not for everyone but it works nicely for me, I like the fractional shares too
i loved selling on ebay back in the day like 12+ years ago it was easy to find places that sold pallets of products and list now i cant find any place that sell pallets of use or returned products
Amazon Flex is one of the best in my market followed by Walmart.
I noticed that you need to be near a populated area to make money delivering food
Spark is great!!! Shopping for goods is good also, just need to figure 15 minutes per 8 items. $30 for 3.6 miles 16 items 20 to 30 minutes shop time. Shop time 30 minutes, drive time 12 minutes. That works!!!
Rogers, MN. I have been a Dasher for a few weeks and have done one Shipt order. I had an issue with Shipt due to the customer not responding to texts about items OOS until I sent the message that I was on my way. Texted her multiple times and called once. Shop took me an hour. $19.95 pay and no tip with 55 items and 5 mile trip.
Fellow MNer! I’m just getting started with this stuff. I see your comment is 6 months old; how have you been finding these over the last 6 months?
FYI, user testing isnt accepting any new people at the moment! Just tried to sign up and I wasn't allowed to!
