I love how some people dedicate this song to their tangis, but for me, it just reminds me of my grandma. She's still here but everyday i think about the end of time she will reach someday. So be sure to spend time as much as you can with your loved ones while you still can.❤❤
It's very sad when our grandma passed away last May. We are devastated because of what happened. We rushed her to the hospital kasi inatake siya. Fortunately, all of her vital signs are normal. So I decided to go back home and let tito and my mother stay with her. I was completely in shock when my cousin told me right after I came back home that mamang (our grandma) is not waking up. It was very sudden, and we couldn't do anything about it. We called our relatives who are working abroad to talk about what happened. We are very happy to hear that mamang finally woke up and was told that she could be discharged after the result of her swab test, and luckily, she tested negative for covid. We're very much pleased about the news. But then again, the doctors couldn't wake her up and saying her oxygen level is getting low. To cut it short, she was on and off inside the hospital for about almost a week. And then one day, I was speechless. While I was asleep, our fam are talking about her condition, saying there's nothing they could do, but to give her up. They decided to bring her back home to bid our farewell. Until now, it is very hard to believe that she's gone. I miss her tantrums (she's very old at makakalimutin na rin hehe), her advice, and the clever ways of giving us (her grandchildren) money. I love you, and I miss you so much. Haan ka madanaganen, nagkakaayos-ayos na kami rito kahit papaano, Mamang. Regardless of what happened, I was also happy na bago siya mawala, unti-unting nagkakaayos mga anak niya pati na rin pamilya niya rito sa compound. Mailiw ak man kinyamon, Mang.
Every song of muni-muni gives me chills, at morning or on my senti moments I never forget to play their songs and make a playlist. Truth is their lyrics speaks deeper words with the beat and rhythm that can take you away from the world and imagine a virtual image of you being in a land full of happiness and love. Actually when I'm painting or sketching I play their song a lot and it makes my art more colorful nor sometimes dark, muni-muni expressed my feelings even tho they do not know the story that I have.

No matter what was going on with my own personal life, talking with her always made me feel better. Every day I looked forward to talking with her and it made me so happy. She would ask me how I’m feeling, how I was, and if I’m doing ok and we would talk for a while. I have very bad anxiety so I always worried about things like “what if I’m bothering her and she thinks I’m annoying”. I still loved talking with her cause at the moment it was like a drug and I was addicted. She loved listening to me sing and I loved performing for her. I became super attached to her. She’s as unique as her name. It made me so happy to see her happy and hear her laugh so I slept well every time we did “sleepover calls”. To cut the story short, my mother died in 2013, of cancer and by tomorrow it's going to be eight years since she died. Little did I know, a little demon named depression started renting in my head. At first I thought it's normal. Along the years I lost my Lola , and then I lost my Tito, eventually lost my dad due to accident. This song... Makes me feel like a little kid crying out for mama and papa because I cannot carry it anymore. This song gives me a sense of home and a sense of abandonment.....

It's very sad when our grandma passed away last May. We are devastated because of what happened. We rushed her to the hospital kasi inatake siya. Fortunately, all of her vital signs are normal. So I decided to go back home and let tito and my mother stay with her. I was completely in shock when my cousin told me right after I came back home that mamang (our grandma) is not waking up. It was very sudden, and we couldn't do anything about it. We called our relatives who are working abroad to talk about what happened. We are very happy to hear that mamang finally woke up and was told that she could be discharged after the result of her swab test, and luckily, she tested negative for covid. We're very much pleased about the news. But then again, the doctors couldn't wake her up and saying her oxygen level is getting low. To cut it short, she was on and off inside the hospital for about almost a week. And then one day, I was speechless. While I was asleep, our fam are talking about her condition, saying there's nothing they could do, but to give her up. They decided to bring her back home to bid our farewell. Until now, it is very hard to believe that she's gone. I miss her tantrums (she's very old at makakalimutin na rin hehe), her advice, and the clever ways of giving us (her grandchildren) money. I love you, and I miss you so much. Haan ka madanaganen, nagkakaayos-ayos na kami rito kahit papaano, Mamang. Regardless of what happened, I was also happy na bago siya mawala, unti-unting nagkakaayos mga anak niya pati na rin pamilya niya rito sa compound. Mailiw ak man kinyamon, Mang.

Every song of muni-muni gives me chills, at morning or on my senti moments I never forget to play their songs and make a playlist. Truth is their lyrics speaks deeper words with the beat and rhythm that can take you away from the world and imagine a virtual image of you being in a land full of happiness and love. Actually when I'm painting or sketching I play their song a lot and it makes my art more colorful nor sometimes dark, muni-muni expressed my feelings even tho they do not know the story that I have.

No matter what was going on with my own personal life, talking with her always made me feel better. Every day I looked forward to talking with her and it made me so happy. She would ask me how I’m feeling, how I was, and if I’m doing ok and we would talk for a while. I have very bad anxiety so I always worried about things like “what if I’m bothering her and she thinks I’m annoying”. I still loved talking with her cause at the moment it was like a drug and I was addicted. She loved listening to me sing and I loved performing for her. I became super attached to her. She’s as unique as her name. It made me so happy to see her happy and hear her laugh so I slept well every time we did “sleepover calls”. She was my “copium” HAHASHASEH, she made me feel so happy because she always complimented my voice whenever she had the chance. Last year I discover this band during my work suspension because I cannot work properly everything is just total mess. This is not even a product of overthinking and negative self talk, No. It happens that what happened to me is so messed up. To cut the story short, my mother died in 2013, of cancer and by tomorrow it's going to be eight years since she died. Little did I know, a little demon named depression started renting in my head. At first I thought it's normal. Along the years I lost my Lola , and then I lost my Tito, eventually lost my dad due to accident.
This song... Makes me feel like a little kid crying out for mama and papa because I cannot carry it anymore. This song gives me a sense of home and a sense of abandonment.....

I’m still a teenager and I know I’m still far from life. although I should be enjoying my life, here I am crying over people’s stories and trying my best to fit into society. kept changing my personality, not for me but for someone to accept me. alam naman natin na kahit sabihin pa natin na may makakatiis din sa ugali natin ay hindi naman talaga totoo ‘yun, siguro ang makaka-tiis lang saatin ay sarili natin. I love music so much and sometimes ginagawan ko pa sya ng kanta or poems. miss na miss ko na siya and this song (bawat piyesa) is really what I feel for him. it just feels unreal when I hear someone talk about their love one/s, it feels unreal maybe because I’ve never experienced it before. I’m now focusing on my studies and trying to find more hobbies. no matter how many times I say to myself na “okay lang ‘yan, bata ka pa at ‘di mo naman kailangan maki-sabay sa iba.” whenever I feel lonely and hopeless, deep inside gustong-gusto ko rin na maranasan ‘yun. gusto ko din makahanap ng mag-ttyaga sa’kin at gagawan ako ng kanta, poems or love letters. gusto ko din na may handang mag-risk para sa’kin. gusto ko rin ng may ka deep night talks na handa talagang makinig ng walang pag-aalinlangan. na-iingit ako at gusto ko den ng may kasama. since teenager ako, hindi ko alam sino lalapitan ko. tinuruan akong maging independent pero hindi ko alam if I could still keep these things together. teenager ako kaya walang nag-seseryoso sa’kin kumausap. they think na ka-dramahan lang ‘to and etc. ‘wag naman sana umabot sa point na dun nalang may willing to kumausap sa’kin kapag pinag-darasal nyo na’ko.
