In the old lore, Beta was his brother who died in a battle and his soul was transferred in the mech form and named as Beta.

Alpha and beta were originally medical bots, but must of the other scientists said is dumb and so the one of the scientists scrap the idea leaving alpha and beta in a room without limbs just just head and torso, and a guy from Cadia river lands wants to be strong at swords man ship and decided to sacrifice his body and wants to be a cyborg but after the operation one of the head scientists decided to remove his memory for personal gain after that saber went rogue and destroyed most of the lab, after the aftermath saber found a room where alpha and beta were and destroyed beta in front of alpha and he has no power to defend his brother since no limbs🤷,
After that the scientists decided to repurpose them as a combat bot but beta was beyond repair so they make him as a drone instead which gave alpha great hatred for saber for what he did to his twin

I remember the first time I use Alpha in MLBB back in 2017. I irked with the "Thinking about girls" voice line, making me to think he's one of a kind hero.
