Just came from the movies, and I was blown away. Easily the best of the trilogy and definitely in my top 5 of the mcu. Spoiler..... The Gwen death call back was one of the greatest scenes in the mcu so far
That and SPOILER Tobey managing to save Goblin this time around. They both got to redeem a past failure. I really love this movie for that and other things.
Andrew, Was the stand out performance for me with what little time he had he even showed out Tom. Toby- Is the brain Andrew- Is the heart Tom- Is the potential I really want that third film now in the present, he deserves it
He's my favorite Spider-Man honestly. His movies weren't the best (even though I enjoyed them a lot) but yeah idk. I like all of the Spider-Men though. They're all good in their own ways. Rami trilogy are the best movies, TASM movies have the best Spider-Man, and the new ones idk they're good but they're my least favorite ones. I just don't like the whole "Tony Stark Jr." Going on.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is one of the most emotional MCU-Films so far. A lot of my praise goes to Willem Dafoe. He is truly a force of nature and in the middle of so many famous names, he managed to completely steal the scene every time he was on screen. That man can truly act. He shined brighter than I thought possible.
You guys are missing the point . Peter is not iron man, hulk, thor . His rogues tend to be batman villian level psychotic and petty. If goblin was beefing with hawkeye he would have his whole family hanging from hooks on a wall.
As a die hard Spider-Man fan. This film gave me everything I was expecting and things I didn't even know I wanted. Is it perfect? No, but for a film that was hyped for so long, not only did it live up to the hype, it managed to surpass it. This was his proper ending. I loved Andrew Garfield as an actor but, sadly didn’t care for him as Spider Man. But, this movie gave him proper end. When he said to MJ, Glen Stacy was my MJ and then what happened later in the movie was a great connection from his universe. This in away was his third movie. All of his loose ends were tied up. I do however wish there was more of him in this movie. I feel this movie is the smartest marvel movie for doing this and it made more sense then going back in time like is Avengers. However, I do feel like everything was tied up in a neat little bow at the end. It felt a little to convenient. I thought Toby would die and it was going to mess up his universe and more shit was going to happen with Dr. Strange. I also, wanted to know what were they doing in their Universe at the moment.
@@wilcee675 I have to agree with u. The movie is super crowd pleasing and it has the advantage of being an event film. But starts falling apart the more u think about it and while I don’t hate it for it’s stupidity. I can’t ignore it either. The other films have tighter scripts but as I said I can’t be mad at this one cause they had soo much to balance. I heard this is dr. I saw it and it is very very good and delivers. The movie is more of a comedy with jokes and easter eggs all the spider-man movies. Pretty much most of the rumours happen and they are done very well organically.
The movie’s already 1 year old!!! So happy it became the highest grossing movie of 2021 Nostalgia Critic points out few people who said it ripped off Into the Spiderverse Im glad though he says it has great action, wonderful acting, and solid storytelling Such likable leads with Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon Stellar acting too mainly with Holland actually growing up as Peter Parker into Spider-Man; finds redemption learning to get past revenge Did something new yet familiar He loves the swinging scenes on par with Amazing Spider-Man 2 His favorite cameo was Matt Murdock He also appreciated how Green Goblin ditched the mask and gave more range for his facial expressions to make him scary Good different ideologies being challenged about not tempting fate vs doing the right thing It's great all 3 actors who played Spider-Man when they meet up for the first time acts as a love letter to the past franchises He just didn't like Lizard's CGI and thought the climax was lame looking and murky plus some character motivations change on a whim at random Got the soul and character down in a backwards way but a good way Sad ending but gets back to the status quo of keeping Peter's secret; the less danger those he cares about are in Still one of the best Spider-Man movies ever acting more than just fan service
I love this movie. It's the best spiderman movie I have seen. My favorite of this year. Love how they balance the fan service with the story. This is tom holland best performance as Spider-Man. I love William defoe in this movie. I love how all the past villains were introduce. The cameos are excellent. This is a movie that your dying to talk with your friends. This movie makes more excited to see jon watts take om fantastic four
Full Price in my book. It's like a conglomerate of episodes from the 90s cartoon vastly extended and brought to life. Man, did they execute with fan-service. Must watch again.
"The best episode of your favorite Saturday morning cartoon" is such a good description. The crowd I went to see this with absolutely sucked though. Hardly any applause or cheering or anything. I was crying and screaming "noooo!" during one of the Big Dramatic Scenes and no one else was reacting. I'm like "I risked covid to make sure I saw this on opening day with a crowd only to get stuck with y'all?" I want to go see it in imax though. Some of those fight scenes seem designed for imax
Honestly Otto could just tell the mcu Peter as he choke him taunting, "you fool! I was something of a Olympic athlete when it comes to swimming, and I have more arms than before."(with Alfred monila fixing up that delivery 😅)
My only problem is that I wish they would kept their secrete. Including the villains. I wish they created a fake trailer and story line. I miss not knowing things.
@@lexis4490 And Disney. But it's not even the leaks. It's the trailers. Because leaks can be faked. I don't look at leaks. Why would you? But the trailers are different. They could of just made a trailer with Dr.Strange as the villain and that's it.
The major complaint I have is that it was too humourous and borderline cheesy at times. They were some serious stakes at play here and the tone didn't mach that.
@@Mrhostil95 Considering the kind of character Spider-Man is, as well as the fact that I've read comics with him in the midst of some heavy shit and still cracking a one-liner or two, this isn't really a knock. Everything in the movie was pretty true to form on who Spider-Man is at his core.
@@famousthaneus9810 I'm not complaining about the quips. I'm complaining about how undelivered the tone feels. The emotional heartfelt moments were all drowned in jokes a couple of minutes later and it get a bit old after some time.
Well, the thing that caused Peter to ask dr Strange for help (his friends being rejected) makes sense. All the other heroes had already gone through that, or they didn't have to. That institution rejecting them makes total sense because being asociated with him or his friends could mean them being attacked by criminals wanting to retaliate against Spider-man.
I'm curious to see how Otto and Norman would react to each other(Otto never said in spider man 2 that Norman was weak, he's not gonna die like him lol)
I’ve been waiting for this review. Whatever you and Martin say will help me decide whether or not I should venture back into the theater for the first time since March 2020!
I unfortunately got spoiled on this movie. I was so pissed. Thanks a lot, UA-cam for the unwanted recommendations. However, despite all of that I came out of this movie the happiest I've been in a long time. I didn't want this to end. I legit cried when a certain moment happened. This movie was more than I could ever ask for. This movie reminded me why Spider-Man is my favorite superhero ever.
Best representation of Corey and Martin I think I've ever seen: "I don't care if you don't like it, Martin. I LOVE THIS SHIT MARTIN, OKAY?! I love this, Martin, I love it! I love it. I just want you to know- but Martin, I love you too, okay, and I'm willing to accept you for whatever opinion you have of this." "This movie's aight."
I disagree throughly about Jaimie Foxx, I thought he was almost as intimidating as even Green Goblin. Why couldn't we have THAT version in the ASM movies? Play more villains, Jaime, you're really good at it.
Beyond hyped for this movie. Also thank you for the quality content for all these years. Been listening/watching since the spill days and you guys always put me in a better mood 🙏🏻
I love all the Spider-Men. Toby was a good Peter Parker, Andrew was a good Spider-Man and Tom is great at both. I’m glad Andrew’s Spider-Man got some great closure. When he saved MJ I yelled “my man” out loud. It was a great movie even with the few flaws yo. It’s making me wanna read the comics
I love the movie but i feel like I would have enjoyed it more if so much had not been leaked before hand. It really impacted some of the bigger moments for me. But I still enjoyed it.
I loved the movie! I cried a bit during the 3rd act too! I also enjoyed that the villians actually got a little closer and help of their issues. I wonder about one thing, what is with these voices inside of most of the villians heads? I can't be like Venom because the behaviors are different. I would love to see that explored more.
Around @46:00 I mean when you think about it, Tony did have that tech. He's been building it up ever since the earlier Ironman movies. We've also seen it in this Spider-Man series before, mainly when he built his costume. Peter wasn't lying when he said their tech was much more advanced than the other universe's.
Tony Stark Made over a hundred Iron Men Suits between Avengers and Iron-Man 3. He invented a machine that could do everything he could do so he didn't have to be bothered. he even gave it a Mini Arch Reactor.

I know many fans had an issue with MCU not doing Uncle Ben storyline but that's what I like about Tom's Spiderman. Uncle Ben storyline & Spiderman origin movie had already been done twice. MCU doing it for the 3rd time would have been repetitive.

I love how DTs "non spoiler" reviews always contain spoilers! Lol
This film was the best Spidey film I've ever seen
Idc what anyone says, this is probably one of the best MCU movies yet
I actually cried. And I don't really care for Marvel movies. But damn
Probably one of the best? You mean arguably the best? Lol. Especially out according to reviews and the amount of money it will make.
Easily top 5
@You First. How? Avengers, Infinity War, Cap 2, Cap 3, and Thor 3 were all better. It was good though.
Strange 2 had many reshoots to “fix” issues but managed to stick the landing. I just wish there wasn’t so much retreading of old material we’ve seen over and over again now . But it’s a solid film, just not in love with it.
Corey slipped up like 4 times and martin kept correcting him 😂 "you mean villains "
"Yeah, yeah villains." lol
Man this movie was off the chain, for all of the years of fake fan made trailers, we finally got the perfect movie, I don't care what nobody says 10 out of 10
Pandering don’t equal 10 out of 10
can you give it 24 hours at least 😂
Ever since Endgame, Spider-Man is Phase 4. Without Spider-Man, Phase 4 of the MCU would be a complete and utter dumpster fire. 🔥
@@JamesASharp SpiderMan is a dumpster fire marvel ruined him they made him iron man bitch. Peter hadn’t done anything on his own til Tony died all of his villains been Tony villains and Tom hasn’t even gotten his own solo movie. All three of his movies have been about other character and that’s what hypocrite fans been happy about cause this movie is built and hyped about the other SpiderMan
@@travionjohnson3975 I disagree with you. But, I respect your opinion.
So Peter is trying to do Talk No Jutsu on the villains I didn't know he was a Naruto fan 😆😆😆
He doesn't. It's actually far more direct than that. I don't want to spoil it.
"Peter, you better get ya b*tch..." I'm rolling.
Easy 10/10 for me I don’t care! I somehow avoided 90% of the spoilers for this and was pleasantly surprised and shocked by everything that happened haha
I saw it and it is very very good and delivers. The movie is more of a comedy with jokes and easter eggs all the spider-man movies. Pretty much most of the rumours happen and they are done very well organically.
Spoiler!!!!!! Lol
Corey: No spoilers.
Also Corey: All of the heroes have something to do
Spiderman, Strange, Wong & Happy?
Korey was so bothered lol.
@@allanbroady2970 The fucked up thing is I was just joking. I meant nothing by it. Also, that wasn't professional at all
Great film, I thought the sex scene between Doc Ock and Mary-Jane was a little too much. But great film regardless
I'm pretty sure that he mentally had a sex scene with Mary Jane in the first Superior spider man arc
The power of the multiverse in the palm of my hand.
Dr. Strange liked him it was somewhat fond before the shit went down tho
I love how they made the mcu humans as cynical and disrespectful as the comic humans. Now we just need the Yancy Street Gang.
it was only a matter of time for korey to FINALLY say zendaya's name right IT'S A MIRACLE
Movie was crazy
No movie iron spidey Jr
Green goblin still that guy, man is diabolical
The movie’s already 1 year old!!!
So happy it became the highest grossing movie of 2021
Nostalgia Critic points out few people who said it ripped off Into the Spiderverse
Im glad though he says it has great action, wonderful acting, and solid storytelling
Such likable leads with Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jacob Batalon
Stellar acting too mainly with Holland actually growing up as Peter Parker into Spider-Man; finds redemption learning to get past revenge
Did something new yet familiar
He loves the swinging scenes on par with Amazing Spider-Man 2
His favorite cameo was Matt Murdock
He also appreciated how Green Goblin ditched the mask and gave more range for his facial expressions to make him scary
Good different ideologies being challenged about not tempting fate vs doing the right thing
It's great all 3 actors who played Spider-Man when they meet up for the first time acts as a love letter to the past franchises
He just didn't like Lizard's CGI and thought the climax was lame looking and murky plus some character motivations change on a whim at random
Got the soul and character down in a backwards way but a good way
Sad ending but gets back to the status quo of keeping Peter's secret; the less danger those he cares about are in
Still one of the best Spider-Man movies ever acting more than just fan service
I love this movie. It's the best spiderman movie I have seen. My favorite of this year. Love how they balance the fan service with the story. This is tom holland best performance as Spider-Man. I love William defoe in this movie. I love how all the past villains were introduce. The cameos are excellent. This is a movie that your dying to talk with your friends. This movie makes more excited to see jon watts take om fantastic four
It was like the Godzilla: Final Wars of Spider-Man films
Full Price in my book. It's like a conglomerate of episodes from the 90s cartoon vastly extended and brought to life. Man, did they execute with fan-service. Must watch again.
Also I agree with the relatability of Spider-Man. That’s what gets us hooked on the character.
Martin: This is goddamn Spiderman right here!
PREACH IT SIR!
I'm like "I risked covid to make sure I saw this on opening day with a crowd only to get stuck with y'all?"
I want to go see it in imax though. Some of those fight scenes seem designed for imax
It's your own fault for going to a movie theater and making all that noise like a toddler.
HEY YOU, DON'T READ THE COMMENTS BELOW. They talk so much about spoilers in the comments.
I love how this film was a love letter to Spider-Man’s rogue gallery. Since he has the best villains in the marvel comic book history.
They brought back the Green Goblin! Also, I looked at Doc Oc like, "You're still living?" 🤔
(SPOILLLLLLLLLLLER) Crazy ironic how everybody was making a fat ass deal about him actually
Sony really need to lock up their leaks.
@@lexis4490 And Disney.
But it's not even the leaks. It's the trailers. Because leaks can be faked. I don't look at leaks. Why would you? But the trailers are different. They could of just made a trailer with Dr.Strange as the villain and that's it.
Willem Defoe Killed it
Video starts at 1:38, commercial at 9:53 and continues at 13:20
The movie is what I thought it would be,it's legendary, epic, timeless
ua-cam.com/video/sawoqAkMOgI/v-deo.html
Legendary??? hahaha omg
Remember that Otto is different before and after the chip is damaged.
I’ve been waiting for this review. Whatever you and Martin say will help me decide whether or not I should venture back into the theater for the first time since March 2020!
Just do it already
It’s all spoiled online. Just watch it here
@@splitint3021 why watch on youtube I bought ticket and im seeing g the movie today in theayers watching it.on the big screen is a funner experience
Go to back to the theater dude it's worth it
What the heck? You're going to let the opinions of others form your own opinion? I swear people need to think for themselves. Social media is silly
Best representation of Corey and Martin I think I've ever seen:
"I don't care if you don't like it, Martin. I LOVE THIS SHIT MARTIN, OKAY?! I love this, Martin, I love it! I love it. I just want you to know- but Martin, I love you too, okay, and I'm willing to accept you for whatever opinion you have of this."
"This movie's aight."
I disagree throughly about Jaimie Foxx, I thought he was almost as intimidating as even Green Goblin. Why couldn't we have THAT version in the ASM movies? Play more villains, Jaime, you're really good at it.
The audience should understood Electro's motivation.
Lost my shit when Wolverine came through that portal
I thought Hugh Jackman was gonna be a distraction in the movie. But damn, he was actually great and watching him fight Doctor Octopus was crazyyyy
He was good but not as good as Rino
I liked when Peter beat Flashes ass in the first half.
I love the movie but i feel like I would have enjoyed it more if so much had not been leaked before hand. It really impacted some of the bigger moments for me. But I still enjoyed it.
I agree, I feel like the internet ruined it for me nonetheless I still loved it. I just wish I was truly surprised throughout the film.
LOL @33:09 uh oh… korey getting all defensive when Martin hadn’t said anything 😂
Yeah we need the spoiler version of this cause the fact they talked for an hour about it without digging in is killing me. Loved the movie tho
Agree with all of this! And yes, the mid-credits scene didn't fit with what they set up, plus it was weak.
Tony Stark Made over a hundred Iron Men Suits between Avengers and Iron-Man 3. He invented a machine that could do everything he could do so he didn't have to be bothered. he even gave it a Mini Arch Reactor.
20:42 you need to understand that Peter is not a big dog half of the avengers can’t be touch by half of the villain
Jobs to do with spider mans powers:
#1: wrestling
#2: demolition
#3: security
#4: city mascot
#5: advertisement
#7: stunt devil
#8: birthdays, very expensive
#9: emergency rescue/millitary/mercenary
#10: cheat in olympics
Martin, you’re forgetting the guy who questioned vulture at the end of homecoming. He has connections as well and could do something to Peter and his connections.
They better bring back Mac Gargan in the next batch of movies or other projects
They actually managed to make a sequel to 3 movies and an origin story all at once with one movie
Literally just finished the move how perfect is it to see a review from my favorite channel.
Just saw it. The film was enjoyable but imo it’s not an all time great comic book/superhero film. Great nostalgia moments, nice Easter eggs but the plot/story was pretty meh. It’s the best MCU Spidey film so far though.
I agree not the best of all time but the best from the MCU trilogy.
The fact the movies plot hangs on Peter(Tom) forgets that he can call MIT before calling Strange makes you just as mad as Strange did.
Peter Parker is the biggest Villain in this movie. Spider-Man? More like Mr Fuck up-man
Spiderman always screws up, it's apart of his character.
@@Jones183 I'm not saying it is bad, but boy he really screws up more in this movie than I have ever seen a spiderman screw up on the big screen.
@@Delboy0 Pretty much every Spider-Man iteration is their own biggest villain, this isn’t some new concept unless you really don’t know the character lol
It doesn't seem anyone is spoiling the MOVIE in the CommentS YET so allow me

I absolutely loved this film!! It reminded me just how much I love Spider-man!! Great story, acting and action
That Spidey group hug near the end...couldn't ask for more
Regardless of the reception so far, I think it's fair to say this spider man have the most heart.
I went to a theater during the day, auditorium was only 1/3 full, maybe even just 1/4. No one clapped at the end of the movie. No one cheered. Everyone was silent the entire time. It was perfect.
I went ahead and spoiled myself with some of the bootleg clips on UA-cam. I’m weak-willed, but I’m doing a good job forgetting key moments. WHAT WAS I SUPPOSED TO DO?! They were everywhere! 😭
That’s right! Martin never really cared for Inception dating back to the old Spill days.
I’m seeing the movie this Saturday with my girlfriend. This review just got me even more excited for it
I know many fans had an issue with MCU not doing Uncle Ben storyline but that's what I like about Tom's Spiderman.
Uncle Ben storyline & Spiderman origin movie had already been done twice. MCU doing it for the 3rd time would have been repetitive.
I'll be seeing it later on in the month but Martin's thoughts on the movie are pretty much what I expect from it.
I'm still very worried for where the MCU is going from here.
idk if it can last another 10 but I hope so but that's it.
@@DoubleDoomEnt I give it until maybe Armor Wars or Secret Invasion (depending on which comes first) before we'll really know if the MCU empire has ran its course
Fox characters will open another door but we’ll see
@Louis Nevers Nah after this, Hawkeye and Loki im not worried at all.
I’ll be taking the family over the weekend to cinema to view. Fingers crossed I’m hoping it’s good.

It was good but it took the last hour and a half to save the film. The main issues was Spider-Man identity didn't have a real consequences or threats. Going to college and people talking smack online was a weak premise. The multi verse villains were cartoonish except for Green Goblin which William Dafoe stoled the show. Tobey and Andrew also did really good.
Best part was with Daredevil cameo
