I love her. The Walton's was successful because of the casting. Mum had a soft mumsey look and people take to people like that. Especially boys and men. The mum was everything on that show.
Really loved this chat with Miss Michael Learned. Long time fan of her work, and loved her in Dahmer. I love her honesty. Great actress. Thanks again Craig for an exemplary interview
3:56 Michael Learned, so now we know you're not Bob Barker! That poor guy really met some wild contestants! Seriously, I'm so glad people have treated you gently. I think The Waltons endures because it's fun to watch and pretty relatable. Deep down we all love a good cry, and we love good comedy. The Waltons has ample comedy and drama, a really good balance. I like The Price is Right with either Bob Barker or Drew Carey. Favorite game would be Any Number. My favorite setting on The Waltons? The General Store. I hope you and Craig are each having a really good day.
What a fantastic interview! It was nice to hear her speak about her childhood and the Helen Ready connection. I started to watch Dahmer on Netflix ... how can I describe it? Let's just say that he made Jack the Ripper look like a manicurist! I honestly dont think I can finish watching it. I think that is why The Waltons still resonate with viewers like myself 50 years on. Just wholesome family viewing that never loses its charm or appeal. Enjoyed this very much. Cheers
What a wonderful surprise seeing this interview with Michael today, just yesterday I listened to a podcast she did on The Golden RAGE of TV, it too was fantastic! I just binged watched The Walton's back in Sept. & Oct. on Amazon Prime. They don't show any of the first season & I could tell they didn't show every episode. I enjoyed it anyway & fell in love with EVERYONE on the show! I was younger then Erin & older than Elizabeth, and my parents didn't watch every week, then not at all. So what a joy for me to really get to meet the "Walton's"! I have also been watching Judy Norton on her UA-cam channel...love it!!! ❤️ Thank you, Craig for such an amazing interview, a treasure for sure!!! 🌼
What a sensational interview. Always loved The Waltons, but had no idea of the behind-the-scenes dynamics. Michael and Ralph Waite. Craig really nails it, has such a way with allowing the stars to feel comfortable. Michael Learned is a legend.
If you like the behind the scenes, Judy Norton has a lovely UA-cam channel that gives memories & information one episode at a time. Each video is short, but packed with info & even has interviews with Walton siblings one on one. It's a great channel!!! Just sharing 🌼
As always, another really superb interview with a legend. The Waltons was my childhood. Such respect for Miss Michael Learned. Her story is incredible, she needs to do a book.
Michael Learned is a stalwart. Such a great actress. Loved this interview very much. Thank you!!!
Michael is such a wonderful person, loved her as Olivia Walton, and Mary Benjamin.
I love her. The Walton's was successful because of the casting. Mum had a soft mumsey look and people take to people like that. Especially boys and men. The mum was everything on that show.
I still watch it today...love the Walton...every night...
Love Miss Michael Learned. The Waltons such a great show. Yet another terrific interview, thanks Craig!
Dear Craig, Long time, no see! No, just kidding. I just saw your video with Christopher Knight.

As always, thank you Joanne.
She played Dhamer's grandmother, not his mother
