    Great video Anson. Something to note, these lenses have some really interesting flaring. Depending on the angle, you can get some really nice starburst flares. I love your test footage in this video. Well done.

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  3 роки тому

      Thanks dude! Yeah I tried to do a controlled flare test and show it. But i did not have an ND for these lenses and so without an ND it was hard to control completely blowing out my highlights. So most of the stuff I shot was in the shade or on a massively overcast day. But from the controlled tests I can tell it some dope flaring 🤘🏻

    I will sound like a broken record, but Tokina produce THE BEST bang for your buck cine glass. I mean just looking at your footage doesn't it feel like a high end camera package? Getting the most out of your sensor starts with the glass in front of it. There's also the vista primes which are a whole other level themselves, and they'd give you that heft for the jitters, which is what I use. Beautiful. Great video.

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks man! I agree completely. A good image has a lot with the quality of glass you use. You’re using the vista primes now?

      @@Ansonandco Yeah I've actually had a set of the vista primes for almost 2 years now!

      These are super 35mm lenses and so they will not cover the full sensor of full frame

  • @FivosVas
    @FivosVas 2 роки тому +1

    Hey Anson.. Do you got any stills which you have 11-22 on m43 at 20mm full open? Just wanted to check if it has a potential to frame a decent portrait with fair bokeh.

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  2 роки тому

      I do not. I don’t know if I would get this lens for portrait work, grab the photo version and save a ton of money

    Hey, did you use a speedbooster on the 500-135mm? I know it's for s35 sensor coverage but I want to pair it with my p4k. Not many people have this lens and camera combo so struggling to find an answer! I hope yo u can help

    • @Ansonandco

      I did not use a speed booster. Just a dummy adapter EF to MFT

    Budget. Seriously?

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  3 роки тому

      In relativity they are budget cine zooms. I always want to be clear that budget does not equal cheap. My sigmas are almost 1k+ more than these. The only cine zoom that may be cheaper is the DZO films.

    • @euphoricmonk
      @euphoricmonk 3 роки тому +2

      @@Ansonandco There are cheaper alternatives. I found a Tokina 11-16mm Cine T3 for $500 online. It's a little older but similar effects.

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  3 роки тому

      Fair! No denying their are alternatives. In my mind the title comes from a place of what’s on the market now for pro grade cinema zooms. And at that perspective it’s on the cheaper end. But no doubt there are alternatives

    • @Ansonandco
      @Ansonandco  3 роки тому +1

      While I stand by these are budget friendly in relativity and for the market. The title has been changed cause I don’t want to be click baity. Thanks for the feedback
