Brisbane is Nice! 10 torps, And fast shotting guns! decently tanky, but still a bit squizzy, but i love it! 100% one of my favorites. will defently recomand her!

Minotaur side grade. I think overall I still enjoy Mino dpm but Brisbane is just so versatile.

Prinz Eugen is still my favorite ship next to my Hindy. She's a great Ops ship, good in Ranked, and can hold her own in Randoms. Just wish she didn't have ship based ASW but that's classic WeeGee
French T6 De Grasse next please. Such a strong cruiser for its tier.

Maybe Konigsberg? Glass cannon but such an AP beast if played correctly
HMS Duke of York. Try the improved AP. I don't have it, but I'd like to see what it is capable of. Also Prinz Eugen has an improved turtle back from hipper. I think it is 50mm vs 40mm.
From someone who has it, it's great in ops but not as great in random. Still can be fun but t7 is rough
@@TheShinySearcher I’ve had the HMS King George V forever. Just curious how much better the AP felt in the Duke of York before I decided to pick her up.
It's definitely an improvement on the AP front; basically wherever you can AP in KGV you can actually get some cits in duke, but other than that, the changes aren't too much. Better AA but it's never had enough range to be noticeable, a worse reload but 30s is pretty standard so it never hurt me. Short version, if you like kgv, duke is a slight upgrade. A bit worse dpm in exchange for being better at meaningful damage

I play Eugen as mini BISMARK ambush cruiser style, secondary build on it instead of accuracy mod, against other low tier CA & BB, secondary was melting dd & will pen low tier BB bow & sten quite good.
was in the market for my 1st premium the other day and luckily came across your old Atago video from 2 years ago and decided to buy it and have had nothing but great games with the t8 heal would love to see another run in it when you get the chance

Yoshino would be an interesting pick. Instead of a standard build, you could try a full maneuver build, which is pretty fun when I've used it.
I run that thing on it, it's hilarious how nimble it is while still doing 35kts. Also, secondaries :D
Yoshino as an open water sniper cruiser benefits hugely from the rudder shift mod
De Grasse was my first premium ship. That would be fun. Or Yoshino.
Really want to see you do the mighty Clemson, PQ. It's gotta be the best DD for it's tier, mine has over 500k XP on it (160k+ & 9 kills the record)

Just got it yesterday from the recruit station container. Kinda tricky to use beacuse of the weak he and amazing ap, but strong when you master it.
back in the day hipper was the cruiser that almost made me quit the game, it was the first line I rage quited and sold the ship, I still remember the feeling of dread... Many years later I free xp it to roon, got a really nice match against an alaska in ranked then got my hindenburg.... and yes the old histories are still true, it is a beast, so good to play with

I really like cruisers with heals but im hating the trend with Weggie where any new premium heavy cruiser that comes out will have sub 50k hp and no heal with trash armor.

How about taking the Hyuga for a spin? Never see the ship anymore despite it being pretty good with the reload booster.
You probably don't see it bc while it has a MBRB, it's only on 14' guns. VERY inaccurate 14' guns at that. Plus the penetration on those 14' guns is on the same level as the Myogi at T4. It's really just a mediocre ship
The constellation would be fun. An American battleship with torpedoes would be strong I should think.

Tier VIII is generally pretty rough. I try it from time to time, but tend to save it for single-tier events or Ranked.

I like the Prinz... Tanky but abit low on DPM. Can be fun to play the under dog against tier x .
PE is a great ship, the AP is very strong. That said, a better AP ship would be the Tallinn, something that I'll pick over the PE. It's not that it's a bad ship. Just that better alternatives out there
German AP has good damage but slightly worse pen. The problem with Tallinn tho is that its shells doesn't go where you aim.

Another Tier VIII with a heal: ARP Takao/Maya, Atago, etc. I believe they are all the same ship. Actually useful torpedo angles, in addition to the heal. Main battery range is more typical Tier VIII cruiser, sadly.
I play Hipper quite often in Ranked and Brawl and that works pretty good.
Still very much interested in seeing Z-52 in this series

Hmm looking a the Eugen and its fire rate is every 13 seconds, Hipper is 10.. Was there a nerf? I could have sworn torps for Eugen weere 2km further range?

Try to play on a flank, it's good at mid and short engagements. Also more nimble than Bayern and tanky when angled. But the main guns are very frustrating.

Shes a good ship but you can quickly find you push to deep too quickly, but her torps defo do make good surprises
eugen actually has pretty good aa, so for brawls or CB id def spec for that too

The only class that I can get behind not having ship based ASW are DDs and even then they should have some sort of longer range tools specific to subs. Its laughable that any tier 10 CL or larger has ship based ASW, given the capabilties of any higher tier sub

The irony is as well, the CVs together were barely even dealing any damage to him while he was melting the Ranger's HP away. Though that's the kind of reaction I've just come to expect from Potato. He doesn't even need to take damage from a CV it just has to be in the battle and he's bitching about it and complaining about how unfair it is, yet he loves cross map shots from his BBs nuking ships at the start of the battle before they even get to play and thinks that's fair, and wants BBs to be made more consistent at doing that.
Still though, he's one of the more bearable CCs I've found so.. here I am.
