WOW...I would say I have almost half of the items mentioned, from 65 year old Boy Scout stuff, Old Cookie Jar of Dumbo from the late 40’s to early 50’s, iPod, nanos from the early 2000’s. Costume jewelry from my Great Aunts and grandmothers and I’m 69. I have a very large Delft Blue vase from the 50’s, bowl sets from the late 60’s early 70’s and much, much more.
I’ve been downsizing, clearing out at least 6 generations of stuff. Very few of the things brought more than several hundred dollars. The greatest value came in donating to various organizations and taking the tax write offs.
I also clicked to watch the video because of the bowls shown in the thumbnail , I have one of those. I do have the Christmas ornaments from Germany , yes would be willing to sell.
I have a pay voucher from when John Glen went around the earth... he was due overtime.... it is signed by him and there’s a stamp commemorating the event that did not have U S postage on it which was recalled.. It was a wedding gift... from a friend who worked for the Commandant of the US Marines ..
I have a set of salt and pepper shakers. Underneath them it has an ink stamp that says Nippon. I've had it for more than 49 years. They were given to me yrs ago.
I have the game boy and a lot of games, I also still have all my kids Polly pockets from the 90’s! We still have a R2D2 from the 1970’s still in the package! Also a ton of comic books from the mid 1970’s to mid 1980’s
I have lots of costume jewelry, women's cocktail gloves and dresses. Old perfumes in original packaging. Vintage toys and lots more. Oh and a really cute polly pocket. It's a tree house.
I have 6 BEATLES records that my Dad bought new when he was a teenager. Meet the Beatles, Hey Jude, Sgt. Pepper, The White Album, Help!, and Abbey Road. I have 3 foot wide row of old rock albums that were all purchased new by him. Most were opened, recorded onto reel to reel and put back in the cover so they still look new 50+ years later.
I only clicked to leave this comment...the market for vintage household items crashed in 2009, never recovered fully, and has crashed again completely with this ongoing pandemic. I have been a dealer of these items for thirty plus years. This video may have validity in thirty years from now!
I have a closet full of Polly pockets and miniature houses (an entire town of them). What are they worth? I also have a cabbage patch doll still in the box and barbies still in the boxes too!
I have several of these things for instances a perfume bottle but when I look on eBay even the oldest looking is selling for 6.00 where do we sell this stuff thanks!!
I have records 45’s,Lps,vhs tapes,8tracks,coins,coo coo clock, singer sewing machine early50’s, also have Girl Scouts sash w/patches,pins. Several doilies, shawls, quilts ect from late 1700-1800’s and yes I would consider selling
I have a lot of NASA stuff. My dad worked for NASA from 1969 to 1974, & an old Boy Scout membership card from 1947. Old costume jewelry too from my grandmother, born in 1910. Old postcards, my baby shower cards from 1960, etc.
I have my grandmothers hair combs, jewelry, pocket books, a clock over 100 years old, my mothers blue bar glassware from the early 50’s, wooden sleds, a real size baby carriage from 1960, tin picnic basket, etc
wow, it's moments like these that make me resent my gypsy-like childhood. we moved so much that basically all of my childhood things are gone other than pictures.
Hi, my statue horses were from the seventies and became retired. I regret not getting them back from my middle brothenemy lol brother/enemy, they're probably worth a fortune now yucky, yikes, icky, ugh and argh.Take care and thanks
Because I taught dancing and played music for company parties and class reunions, I have 2 suitcases full of CDs of all types of music. They've been removed from their hard plastic cases and put into soft plastic sleeves to take up less space. I'm 70 years old now and do have other vintage things. Any interest? Oh, also, I have a huge collection of vinyl records (45's, 33-1/3's, and a few 78's), some 8 tracks, cassettes, reel-to-reels and all the players. I've been collecting records since I was 5 years old. I have a huge collection of Barbie dolls, mostly from the early to mid 90's. Some older from Doll shows. All NRFP. I have a few pieces of ceramic art work from Dr. Tom Clark, one has his signature on it. Also some Mary's Moo Moos that no long have their boxes due to a fire we had here in 2011. Most of the Clark and Moo Moos are from the early 1990's.
I have trouble pricing anything I have because each person tells you something different. I have a few of the blue and white china sets. I also have some that are pink and white. Costume jewelry, Very old baseball cards - from the 20s and 30s (very small) - and then just a ton of baseball and football cards. Lots of Steelers stuff. I have antique vases from the late 1800s/early 1900s (some from Japan that are hand-painted). I'm not just trying to price - I want to sell!!
I’m feeling ill, I had several antique Christmas ornaments. When friends packed the last of my belongings the ornaments weren’t wrapped. They were slivers of their former selves.
I'm antique dealer and an item is only worth what people are willing to pay for it. These prices are ridiculous. Having been a dealer for 35 years I have to say, most people are disappointed. It's hard to have to tell people that all the time.
Sorry to hear that but you know I have things I know should be worth something, I'm not saying riches but for example I have a Shirley Temple pitcher with her picture on it it's a little faded, not real bad but I know it's very old and it's Shirley Temple . And many others and if I ever got them appraised I wouldn't be upset if of them were worthless they might just be junk, 😂.
What makes me sick is when a good old piece has gone out of style and isn't worth was is was a couple years ago. Antiques are connected to history. Your pitcher is undoubtedly blue. Go to ebay and put in Shirley Temple pitcher and there are over 300 of them. Most will be not be the good old ones like yours but you can find a few and check out the prices.
I have a cuckoo clock like the last one shown in the video. My parents bought it for me at Christmas one year. I believe about 1970 so I do not know if it's considered antique.
You showed the set of yellow & white bowls in your video but never takes about them, are they of any valuable? I have the set of 4 bowls, possibly consider selling
I have the original Beetles album, the very same cukoo clock as shown, and an original rubber elephant from the old Akron Rubber Company. Also have a ceramic oval wall hanging painted by Picasso, but has never been authencated, with a very interesting background.
I have a large mantle clock that works great and says Anker and Westminster. Love it!... and I also have this old german one but the clock mechanism doesn't work.
You showed vintage Pyrex and then didn't mention it??? Vintage cookware can be very valuable. I have a large collection, but I get mine from thrift stores rather than ebay or antique stores. Also Barbies do not necessarily need to be very old to be valuable. I started collecting high end Barbies in 2000. In 2014 I sold them and paid for my trip to Europe. One Barbie alone was only 3 years old. I paid $50 for it and it went for $350 on Ebay. And lastly, old costume jewelry is valuable because the rhinestones are made from glass. Today they are made from plastic.
I’m never selling my grandpas coo coo clock, I bubble wrapped it put cloth around it to keep it safe. Maybe when I die and coo coo clocks die in existence my kids can sell it for money, but as long as I’m alive I’m keeping it
The value isn't always age, it's how many were made. a Shirley Temple item may not be worth much because they aren't uncommon. A really uncommon piece would be worth a lot more, but then you would have to find a collector, most people are not going to buy that. What an item is worth today doesn't mean much anymore because things change in popularity. Right now old dishes (which I love) are worth 1/3 of what they were worth 3 years ago. And by old, I mean 1880s on.up to today. Lovely wedding sets are really hard to sell, dealers are piecing them out because they might make something on the casseroles or platters. People don't want to pay for cups and saucers.
My parents have the ornaments they bought for their first Christmas tree 62 years ago. A few years ago I saw a set just like them displayed in The Minneapolis Institute of Art.
I have scads of VHS TAPES ! Alot of Disney and kids tapes also various others. Roughly between VHS & DVD'S , I have probably close to 850 movies if not more. Been collecting since 1980.
I keep hearing about the old Polaroid cameras being worth a lot now... I have 2, one is from at least the early 80s... What can you tell me about that ? Also, can you buy or sell these things for me ?
Ive got exactly the coocoo clock you showed in try this video. It was my grandmas. I think the only difference was that there are 2 heavy long pinecone looking balance weights that hang on chains. Is it worth $$?
I have a complete set of the orange Pyrex bowls you show at the beginning of this video and a iPod nano that works and in mint condition. Can you tell me what these two are worth and who would I contact to sell it to?
Anything from Dumbo to the original Batman, Liar Liar to Enter the Dragon with Bruce Lee, Star Wars box set to Ozzy Osborne. I hv kid movies, adult comedy, popular music artists from the 70's, 80's and 90's. Westerns, chick flix and countless other genres.
GameBoy? Really? I have one of those, plus hundreds of CDs, video cassettes, and autographs of politicians. Very interesting. Nice that I do not throw things away.
I have about 6 antique clocks and many of the toys like the old ninja turtle and polly pockets...plus more collectables like China and yes I'm willing to see..oh yeah the games vinyl records and I think a game boy plus other electronics...never threw any of my kids toys away nor my albums when I was young now I'm 60 lol
I have around 100 vcr tapes. I would like to sell them after I transfer them to dvds. I have some vintage magazines that teach how to croche doilies. They are really old.I think there are 10 or 12 little magazines. I have a old camera you need film for. I think it’s a cannon. Maybe 30 years old. Like new. All buried in a storage closet. I have some old albums 33s and 78s and a never used record player.
So remember never to throw anything out. And this is how hoarders are born!😁
Right! Thinking the exact same thing!
Wow. I have all the old Disney Movies on VHS, and still watch them on my combo VHS/DVD player sometimes.
I have many vhs Disney are they worth anything
How do I get my Disney VHS sold??
These items are only worth what somebody is going to pay for them
And how do you find someone to buy them???
The only reason I clicked was because of the bowls in the thumbnail and they're not even in the video wtf
Those bowls are in my family's house and I got excited
Me as well, damn it!
natrocks 03 click bait.......a scam of sorts
Great. Just started the watching because of those bowls. In this case, the click baiting is just plain mean.
Me too, I got two of them
I waited for the Pyrex bowls u showed , never happened!
Condition is everything!
I’ve been downsizing, clearing out at least 6 generations of stuff. Very few of the things brought more than several hundred dollars. The greatest value came in donating to various organizations and taking the tax write offs.
I have an exact same cuckoo clock like the one you showed. It has been in the family for more than 130 years.
I have the gold bowls you show in the introduction part, but you never mention the mixing bowls of casseroles at all???
And I have the full set of blue flowers. Still use them. But, I am almost 70.
I also clicked to watch the video because of the bowls shown in the thumbnail , I have one of those.
I do have the Christmas ornaments from Germany , yes would be willing to sell.
Got most of those bowls and dishes given to us as wedding presents. Would not want to miss them. Quality you rarely find nowadays
I have a large selection of 45 records and 8 track tapes
I have a pay voucher from when John Glen went around the earth... he was due overtime.... it is signed by him and there’s a stamp commemorating the event that did not have U S postage on it which was recalled.. It was a wedding gift... from a friend who worked for the Commandant of the US Marines ..
Have many old xmas ornaments and tree toppers from Great Grandma
I have a set of salt and pepper shakers. Underneath them it has an ink stamp that says Nippon. I've had it for more than 49 years. They were given to me yrs ago.
I have the game boy and a lot of games, I also still have all my kids Polly pockets from the 90’s! We still have a R2D2 from the 1970’s still in the package! Also a ton of comic books from the mid 1970’s to mid 1980’s
The polly pockets and mighty max play sets are really going up right now especially if you have all the little pieces
I have lots of costume jewelry, women's cocktail gloves and dresses. Old perfumes in original packaging. Vintage toys and lots more. Oh and a really cute polly pocket. It's a tree house.
Yes I have costume jewelry also that a 100 year old lady gave me about 15 years ago, would sell.
Wow! I have a lot of the Christmas ornaments! They were my grandmother's.
Randy Shreckengost check the postal rates
I have 6 BEATLES records that my Dad bought new when he was a teenager. Meet the Beatles, Hey Jude, Sgt. Pepper, The White Album, Help!, and Abbey Road. I have 3 foot wide row of old rock albums that were all purchased new by him. Most were opened, recorded onto reel to reel and put back in the cover so they still look new 50+ years later.
I think you can write your own ticket with Beatle memorabilia. Just be careful.
I only clicked to leave this comment...the market for vintage household items crashed in 2009, never recovered fully, and has crashed again completely with this ongoing pandemic. I have been a dealer of these items for thirty plus years. This video may have validity in thirty years from now!
TRUE!
My life is worth $7

I have a closet full of Polly pockets and miniature houses (an entire town of them). What are they worth? I also have a cabbage patch doll still in the box and barbies still in the boxes too!

Quite a few. I’m from Germany and have a lot of antiques. If I did sell, it would have to be worth my family and my time.
I have my grandmothers hair combs, jewelry, pocket books, a clock over 100 years old, my mothers blue bar glassware from the early 50’s, wooden sleds, a real size baby carriage from 1960, tin picnic basket, etc

I still have my old black and white Game Boy and still play it.
I have a prototype of the laptop before laptops came out. Is it worth anything?
Doesn't meantion why those old Christmas ornaments are worth so much money nor how many workers died making them.
I have trouble pricing anything I have because each person tells you something different. I have a few of the blue and white china sets. I also have some that are pink and white.
