Here have a hug from a fellow who also enjoyed playing this back in his childhood and still feels the same and wishes to get back those golden times. 😌 🤝
I got tears. That sound track brings very old memories. My friends and I used to walk blocks to go to this lady's house. She used to rent her old system, $5 per hour. We used to play as much as our pockets could afford. It didnt matter that we didnt understand japanese. The colors and animation were so vibrant, I still remember the feeling of wonder this game gave me. Nothing like our childhood years. If only I knew then how much I would miss those moments.
I understand your feelings bro. When i studied in 4th grade (1999), my classmate had this game. And i was so thrilled to see him play the very first time, i bartered my other 4-in-1 cartridge which consisted of Samurai Pizza cats, Choujin Sentai, TMNT tournament fighters and Power Rangers 2. And i never regretted it since...since the passwords were all in Japanese, i couldn't finish the walkthrough. So a decade later, i download the Nes emulator and finished it off. Such a long storyline and what a masterpiece this game is. I love the animation and music up till now.
@@vr9580 This was back in '03 or '04. I'm originally from Cuba. Children in those days did not have console systems in their homes. And on top of that, I lived in a small town where only a select few had old systems like the NES or Super Nintendo. Imagine that, at a time where the PS2 was already out, we cuban children were happy to play an NES. So those that did have those consoles, would rent them out to make some extra money. Others had more "modern" ones, like the Nintendo 64 or PS1 and would make entire gaming cafes out of their homes. A very lucrative business as you can imagine.
PES, or Winning Eleven, is made by Konami, Japan. Konami is more ethical than EA in terms of contents and additional contents, but not by much. PES still suffers the same problems FIFA has regarding microtransactions, loot boxes, and the lack of evolution between each game. FIFA today has the story mode with an ongoing continuity, which makes a bit more passionate. However, the plots and the characters are nothing compared to Tsubasa.
I spent my entire childhood time to finish this game but it’s too difficult for me. Thanks for uploading and I finally manage to see the ending. Such a wonderful game and it brings me back a lot of memories when I played this at my aunty house over the weekend. And it’s 2018 now. Japan soccer team has become stronger than ever. Hopefully one day they will become like captain tsubasa team!!!
This game really makes the most of this system and pushes it to its limits. The illustrations are very meticulous, the animations are excellent and what about that soundtrack? It makes you want to pass the ball to the opponent team. In my opinion, no other Captain Tsubasa game was crafted with the same passion and talent as this one, even with the limitations of the system.
This brings back too many awesome memories... I used to play this game in Japanese language and I somehow figured out the meaning of the symbols by playing day and night. Man I miss those days. :)

Dark Souls is harder... There are much harder games during NES era than this one but Dark Souls is a modern game with NES era execution and difficulty and that makes it so satisfying once you figure out an attack pattern or movements... Especially boss battles are fantastic
The music of the half time is so motivating. I'm about to cry remembering all those glorious moments back in the day :'(

13:00:29 super striker melody 😎
I didn't remember 10 or 11 or 12 years ago I love to play this game. I miss this game's tape, my friend borrow this game from me and he lost it. Since that I've never play this game anymore till now
Even now, I'm amazed they could pack this game into a cartridge that's not even 1 MB in size. Mann, how technology sometimes make people too lazy to think effectively haha.
Thank you :) love the English translation!
Best game ever!
Crazy 13 hr video I remembered we once played 3 of us from day to midnight and finished it that was a great vectroy just to see the ending
that music, woww, big memories from children playing with "mis amigos del barrio"
This video shows us how was easy to play, but it never was.
I miss past days was wonderful when I am young I played this games
you can download it and play it on the pc
Dude even to this day I love this captain tsubasa than any other games that came after it including the new current new game.
My childhood. tnx 👍
Wait, you, an American, had a famicom, a Japanese system, as a kid?
EYTPS im from saudi arabia and yes i had a japanese system
ahmad alenezi You're lucky then :)
EYTPS tnx pro :)
I remember writing down the super long passwords on a small notepad I kept every time I made progress in the game, and I didn't understand any of the Japanese. Brings back memories of times I can never go back to and places that probably don't exist anymore.
For an nes game, this looks actually crazy good for the times. I bet people playing this back in the day were absolutely mindblown
Thank you to bring back my memories in childhood 😁
been always amazed how most goalkeepers in this game feel so badass they neglect using gloves
I read the description and im glad that suffered from what i suffered as kid 😌
Longest game ever man old days
the true game that need a remaster
Challenge: try win the world cup with Morisaki in the first team.
Y aquí estoy, jugando Captain Tsubasa Rise of the New Champions 25 años después... que bellos recuerdos de la infancia
HOLY! This game looks so good. xD
Buenas tardes! Lo realmente impresionante es no perder ningun Partido, asi como tu lo juegas no tiene emoción!
I played this game every summer when I was small, and it took me 3 years to win Hyuga's team, his team was fucking imbalance with hyuga and zuken.
Hyuga and Ken Wakashimatsu! Yup!
And we had.... MO-RI-SA-Ki! :> =))

Got surprised by my own comment. I don't realize I watched this video 6 years ago, lol
I played this game in 1990s when I was a kid. And it was all Japan. lol
2:33 Carlos Santana? You mean he plays soccer as good as he plays the guitar?
Lol
In Vietnam, I watching this Anime show in everywhere! My home, my mom's home. It was a fun memory :)
Nada pudo ni podrá superar esta obra maestra.
amen hermano
tal cual, afortunadamente logré descifrar como usar el password en esas epocas
In a parallel universe, Carlos Santana used to play latin jazz & rock guitar..
When i was played this video game,, i was very nervous and screaming when i hear the time music 😂😂😂
I use to play this as a kid and it was in Arabic. I could never finish it but thanks to you I have my closure. This game has a special place in my heart.
Same here. It was called Captain Majid II or III. I remember the Drive S was called Tashdeed or something. haha
People think Dark Soul is hard.
i think dark soul is harder
Is not.
Dark Souls is harder... There are much harder games during NES era than this one but Dark Souls is a modern game with NES era execution and difficulty and that makes it so satisfying once you figure out an attack pattern or movements... Especially boss battles are fantastic
What is a dark souls?
There's always Chakan the Forever Man...
This game was a thing back then in Argentina, my country. All kids watched Tsubasa ("los campeones") and played the nes games.
13 hours, they made the game so close as the anime.
Amazing old game.. I remember when im playing this game 20 years ago..
