    Slaven's... Jeff has run his own business, made money and gets to ride some really well put together bikes, SALUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Jeff was also pretty quick to use youtube to help sell product... SALUTE
    KYLE, right from the jump, good content, video, and editing, really next gen of you tubers.. SALUTE!!!!!!!!!
    KYLE gets a little kickback from rocky mtn. NICE I love Rmtn ATV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    In some ways Jeff and Kyle compete, I buy from Slavens(he ships fast too!!), I buy product from Kyle too(love the give aways)
    Props to both fellow riders who both provide knowledge and parts, and make livings in the dirt bike industry. They both had to earn that.
    Ya, I want to try a JX8 too!!!!!!

    One thing i've learned being in the automotive industry for 15 years now is everyone has "their" way of doing things, everyone else's way is sub par. That's probably the case with Slavens, he sees your videos and thinks you are sub par because you do it different. If you don't have haters you're not doing it right.

    Soft compound tires are addictive, traction everywhere, hard rocky terrain does eat them up pretty quick

  • @gg4760-k5n
    @gg4760-k5n 3 роки тому +1

    Multi compounds have been around in MTB for a long time now, it is very surprising that the moto world still hasn't coped on by now. Having a hard base compound cover with gummy compound can allow your knobs to keep their shape, last longer while using a softer gummy compound. And then you can have softer/harder compound for center/side knobs depending on application like front and rear. Maxxis is famous for their 3C tires, so they have knowledge and experience, I wonder why they don't transfer it to moto.

    I'd disagree on the performance vs longevity argument. The 505 Cheater offers very good performance and literally lasts forever. I know it's not a big difference a mere few onces but, I wonder if a heavier tire in the rear is a benefit for the technical stuff. Has anyone tested this?The weight would be down low not really affecting the suspension. Just a thought.

    hi Kyle, wondering if you've ever tried the Sedona mx907? weird looking pattern but I've gotten great wear and feel like it sticks as well as anything else I have used. usually in dry, hard, and rocky terrain. Occasionally get lucky and get hero dirt after some rain and have even run it in dunes a couple times.

      It's not a bad tire but there are many better options depending on terrain. You gotta remember, the tire HAS to match the terrain. What works for you in your state/country may not work at all in another. In WA, there are tires that work excellent in wet rocks, roots, and loam, but perform terrible in soft terrain.

    Rockyatv just raised their tire prices about 10 to 12 dollars per tire since two weeks ago. Thanks to you emotional voters.

    The golden age just ended for us that live in communist California. No (2022+) new bikes allowed on public lands unless it's plated or green sticker.
