- I got to play the Hetfield signature LTD Snakebyte camo guitar at Replay Guitar Exchange in Tampa and I'm sharing this experience with you, right here on UA-cam.
***Check out Replay Guitar Exchange here:

***Here's Riff with Cliff's Rock Guitar Lesson mentioned in the video:
• ROCK GUITAR FOR BEGINN...
***Here's the video we made for the LTD Kirk Hammett Signature V:
• KIRK HAMMETT LTD Flyin...
LTD guitars, in general, are known for metal. And just like Hetifeld's playing, this guitar is great for those tight metal rhythms Metallica is known for.
Here are the specs:
Mahogany body
Macassar Ebony fretboard
Kuiu Camo Satin finish
Thin U neck
22 XJ frets
LTD locking tuners
Tonepos Locking TOMS & Tailpiece bridge
EMG JH HET SET pickups
The LTD Hetfield Camo guitar has two volume knobs, one for each pickup. And you also have a 3-way switch.
It's definitely built for playing Metallica-style and any style of metal.
Oh, and make sure you watch the entire video as Cliff and I have a cool and interesting guitar chat toward the end.
Keep Playing Music,
Jason

Love it!
🤘
Thanks for stopping by Jason. That guitar sounds absolutely aggressive and killer. Chunky metal indeed!
Dude we always have a blast filming and can’t wait to check out the Jacksons in the store next week!!! The big question is will I go home with one??
Great video guys
🙏🤘
Its kinda funny how james's guitar makes everyone else look tiny but hes so big it looks normal in his hands.
🤘
I'm not a fanboy though I do absolutely respect Het for all of the bad assery he has blessed us with through all of my years growing up playing. I picked up the satin black version of this guitar after playing a white one and being blown away by the Snakebyte. I used to own an Explorer but the Gibby was heavy and the passive pups just weren't my thing anymore. When I played the Snakebyte I didn't even care that it was a signature, I didnt care what color I got, I just knew I was getting one. The Het Set through my Marshal /Rig (Early Zakk Tone) sounds fkn killer. The Byte is like 8 pounds, plays fantastic, looks killer. Love that guitar.
Yeah this thing plays really nice!
That's a sick guitar!!!
It plays and sounds killer!
Killer guitar Jason!
🤘
That’s my guitar 🤘🏻🤘🏻 Love my ESP Hetfield guitar
Man it's a cool guitar!
I have the Satin Black one from a few years ago... I'm a lefty player and ESP/LTD support us pretty well. The quality of the Korean built LTD's is off the charts!
Edit to add: I see a TON of lefty guitars behind you. I'd love to have this shop near me!
Yeah they have a ton of different guitars here. They also do free shipping so check out their website (link in the description) - they're always getting cool guitars in
That is a really cool guitar Jason I'd like to have a guitar like that 🆒🤘
It plays and sounds awesome!
@@jasonstallworth I agree 💯
4:48 - 5:19 my ears love that! 👍 👍
🤘
Wow what a place il have to bok a flight to Florida i think 😊😊
🙏🤘
Please stop by our shop anytime !
Nice control strategy, two volumes means you have infinite blending capabilities. I think Billy Gibbons uses that on some of his instruments. On a metal guitar's like superstrats I've never really used the tone knob, just let the characteristics of the pickup do its thing. For other instruments, like Telecaster pickups, you might need to take off some of the top end if it's too shrill.
I'm not a fan of active pickups, but otherwise looks like a cool guitar - thank you! Also good to promote your local guitar store.
I didn't even think about the blending of the two with the volumes but that's a cool feature!
Looks like a nice guitar store.
It's amazing and cool people! I have a link to their store in the description of this video....definitely check it out
see at DEATH METAL VS PINK FLOYD
the GAS never stops 😞
I keep the actual gear I own to a minimum. But wait till you see the next guitar video!
Truer words never spoken.
I wanna see your take on that jag-stang behind you imagine if you played metal on that.
That would be cool. I'm gonna be playing some Jacksons next visit!
I want to do this kind of paint job on a guitar im building the best option ive found is cerakote and camo stencils like youd use for a gun
Anybody have any insight?
You may wanna reach out to the dude that sent me one of his guitars from Germany (I have his link in this video): ua-cam.com/video/gBrZ2Eb7Mjg/v-deo.html
Sweet! I’ve been on the fence about a Snakebyte because of the body. I sit 90% of the time. I hold all my guitars classic style/like I’m playing a V. The same way you were playing this in the beginning. Was it comfortable in that position?
Yeah this guitar was really comfortable (much more so than a V!) and it's a solid guitar
@@jasonstallworth awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply.
Perfect sound separate EVH 5150 Iconic Series 40W or effect? 👍
Yeah that’s the raw amp, I used a delay for the lead you hear at the end of the video
I have that amp in ivory 🤟🤟🤟
I was impressed and will soon to a video on that one!
@@jasonstallworth awesome I look forward to hearing what tones you get out of it. The clean channel is amazing as well
what is the song he plays at 6:00
I’m making stuff up on the fly most of the time unless I’m playing one of my own songs
Ah okey. Ty. That was very affective
Didn’t know Dana White was into metal
🤘
jason and cliff using a metallica guitar. how ironic
🤣 🤘
I very recently got my hands on a used ESP LTD Arctic Metal Arrow guitar and lemme tell ya she sounds incredible! ESP absolutely makes great guitars. High end quality at very affordable prices. Anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear would do well in acquiring anything from their LTD line. Never owned an ESP until now and I can personally vouch for how much fun they are to play. I haven't played a guitar on an almost daily basis for hours at a time like I do now.
They do make some solid guitars!
@@jasonstallworth Got that right brother!!
@@jasonstallworth Question for you if I may. I installed the Cakewalk DAW made by BandLab earlier today and I have no idea on how or where to begin with using it. Do you have any how to videos on that subject? Assuming of course that all DAW's are pretty much the same as far as their functionality and shit goes? I had Ableton Lite and of course no idea on how to use that either but since it wasn't a full version DAW I decided to give Cakewalk a try since it's full functionality isn't behind a pay wall like all the others seem to be.
