    I normally like his videos but this is not how you smoke good snowcrabs. You first do a half boil in butter,water and your seasonings to infuse flavor. Then you put them on the grill at a low temp and cook slow with your favorite wood to add smoke flavor. Use your leftover seasoning broth and dip crabs in it every 10 minutes until your desired smoke level is achieved. If you want them super flavourful. Break legs up off body in the beginning and when you put them on grill use a pan with holes in it. Come on bro I thought you knew better, we know those crabs had no flavor.

    Why not just use the butter sauce for dipping instead of basting the shell that really serves no purpose?

    I know this is weird but I asked Chatser AI about basting the crab shells.     I remember going to a restaurant in Freeport TX that did this when I was a kid. Those were the best crab legs ever.

    Love this guy and I'm sure smoking them is great but basting a shell and then call them juicy as tht butter runs off is a stretch
