Good point. My favorite part of the Xtender is the fine tuner. I was just playing my '51 and had to fine-tune the low E, so I just used the fine tuner to get it perfect.
@@b0mb360 Thanks, RATM was an obvious one. The first Drop D riff is _Rock Past It_ by Scratching Post, while the other dirty was was my rendition of The Go-Gos’ _Our Lips Are Sealed._ And the clean Drop D one is of course _Everlong_ another obvious pick. The E riffs were _Australia_ by the Manic Street Preachers, _Eyes On You_ by Margaux & _Blitzkrieg Bop_ by the Ramones.
You're welcome. Just be sure you swing just the tuner part down to expose the screw hole. And use the right size drill bit; a hole too small will just stop the screw in its tracks.
Wow, that is pretty cool Michael. Thanks for sharing this video. I just put 'F' locking tuners on my Squier. I hope they make a locking version in the future. Just because. Thanks - John B333
I think the real key feature here is not having to grab a tuner in the middle of playing. Brilliant!

@@MichaelD8393 Great riff choices too BTW. A very satisfying video

@b0mb360 Waylon Jennings is famous for that.

You got it, John. And yeah, a locking Xtender would be badass; get on that, HipShot!
Looks great 👍 🤟🤠🤟🎸🎸🎵Thanks for showing MichaelD8393 Hope you have a great Rockin New Year My Friend 🎸🎸🎸🎵🎵🎵💥💥💥🎉🎉🎉
Thanks, Dwight, the Xtender is pretty handy for a common need if you ask me. Happy New Year too🎊 Let's make 2024 even better than 2023.
good Demo, thanks dude. I've heard that the return back to E goes sharp. Have you noticed that ?
I did when I first put the string on, but some stretching of the string resolved it.

It's nice, but for that price?
Well, it's more expensive to buy it directly from HipShot. You can find them for less on Reverb; still new in the box.
looks like you can't work the lower frets with that lever in the way, It's just for cowboy shredding and cowboy power chords
...sad
Actually, not really; my hand misses it most of the time. You can also swing the lever lower than I have it in the video.
@@MichaelD8393ok thanks, but I do a lot of work down there and skeered to buy one.
