Every year RBI conducts the assistant examination. The number of vacancies depend upon, the persons retiring from RBI. But due to huge amount of competition, nowadays it is getting harder and harder to clear the exams.
Paroo cleared the RBI assistant exam in 2016 when there were vacancies for only 10, therefore hard work and strategic preparation is what is required to clear this exam and get a post.

Common Man 3.0 Banking Returns she is not an Assistant. She got promoted to Assistant Manager (Grade A) in January 2020. I checked her linkedin profile. She cleared departmental exam in a single attempt
