Hey there Psyche, yes it gets in your head and stays there all day. Upbeat, repetitive almost like a meditative mantra. Haven't heard that for possibly 40 years. The Police had many arresting songs and Roxanne was huge. Thanks for reacting to them. I think you would have thrived at NASA , it certainly wouldn't have been boring. I have got over that dreadful virus I had (not covid) thank goodness, thought I was going to end up in hospital one stage but I battled through it. Hope that you are feeling on top of the world Psyche, you always bring a smile that makes my day. Much love, Rich

Hello dear CMA, what a lovely message. It was like reading a letter from an old friend from 1000s of miles away - well I guess you are, you've been on this journey with me for a long time now, and you've never asked for a thing. Just appreciative, that is 'pure' kindness because you don't say nice things to get something back. I'm so glad that are better now, I was a little concerned, but felt assured that you have your family and friends around you. I sent up blessings for you on many occasions especially when I feed my wildlife family every morning - I find much peace at that time as they show all me so love. I always look at them and the sky, and even tough things are rough and tough, I always think to myself 'What a beautiful Planet with some extraordinarily wonderful people'. You are one. May you now walk on the path of good health Rich, always, now and forever. Psyche ♥️

@@psycheinc-theSLC your friendship and this channel is enough. I think it is important to be genuine and say nice things to others when they deserve it or I feel like it. So many find it easy to be critical but not so easy being nice. I have a pond here with small fish and when things are grim, I like to listen to the waterfall and watch the flow of water. Also, we have around 15 lovebirds in an aviary that are wonderful to connect with. As always, may you hold your head up high and walk in peace and love. Ooh I know those areas well, particularly Islington as it was my stamping ground for about 3 years for lunches, dinners and shopping in their little upmarket outdoor Market which is gorgeous. And the Flowrr stall, so many memories way back when. 13aBOC and 🌹

All their music is good but not for views unfortunately meaning not many people watch unless 'dedicated' to just them which Im not. I like so many people from everywhere so just playing good stuff and people can go on and search for more stuff. But I have already picked out a couple more. Have a great weekend

Most of their song have that Jamaican drum beat, which gave them there unique sound. During the 80's, they became a super group, filling up stadiums with 50,000 fans. They were great.
Sting, left them, but on his own, never achieved the stardom that he had with the Police.

"never achieved the stardom that he had with The Police". Really? Let's see...Police had 5 albums, all great. Sting has released 15 solo albums between 1985 and 2021, most of which sold millions each. So tell me he wasn't as good as his original band.

@@jeffreymackay4343 What? "As a solo performer, he has released 15 albums between 1985 and 2021, most of which have sold millions of copies worldwide?" Ha, Ha, Ha. Wikipedia never listed how many albums Sting has sold. They only say:
"With The Police (1977-1986, occasional reunions thereafter), Sting sold over 100 million records and singles. As a solo performer, he has released 15 albums between 1985 and 2021, most of which have sold millions of copies worldwide."
In 5 years and 5 Albums, the Police have sold 46 million Albums.
In 33 years and 15 Albums, from 1985 to 2021, that's 36 years, Sting has sold 52 million Albums.
Sting never sold out 100,000 seat stadiums, like the Police did in NYC, Germany, Japan, etc., etc., or little ol' 64,000 seat Alamodome stadium here in San Antonio. The Police were great! I have one of Stings albums, and IT SUCKS! I have all the Police albums too.
The Police Reunion Tour of 2007, they grossed $362 Million.
Sting alone never did that. His last 3 Albums, THE LAST SHIP = 450,000 albums, 57TH & 9TH = 620,000, and 44/876 =400,000 albums, were complete FLOPS. I think his arrogance went over his head.

    • @peterspering3709

Of course he did. It was 'Sting' that became a household name even to those who were born after The Police disbanded. 'Fields of Gold' is a song that *Paul McCartney* of all people said he wished he'd wrote. Most of his solo albums have sold more individually than those of The Police.

I think I know what you mean? The bass riff flows very well!
Yeah! The bass flows very well! The drums are...drums...not flow, but rhythmic. And the guitar chords...absolutely beautiful, very spatial!
    I love this track. ❤

If you listen carefully, Sting substituted the word “f*ck” for “walk” in the last verse although it was never printed as such in the official lyrics.

The reason why Stewart Copeland never played drums in their earlier videos is because they didn't want anyone to see his drumming techniques......to think all 3 of these guys freaking hated each other
