Accompanying Sting is the Algerian singer Cheb Mami. As a result of the use of a Jaguar car, the song was used in the company's advertising the year after the song was released. With its North African rhythms, the song was very different to other material on the album "Brand New Day".

Sting is one of the singer whose voice got better with age. I loved him in the Police already, but his solo works are breathtaking. He's a musical genius. My personal favourites are Fields of Gold, Fragile, The hounds of winter, I hung my head, Shape of my heart.
His work with philharmonic orchestras is unbelievably great. Go down this rabbit hole, it's very well worth the journey and many wonderful and inspiring songs await you.

Not sure I'd agree with that. He has a great voice. But it's an iconic song because of the collaboration with Sting.
Well, this was quite a surprise for me. I haven't followed Sting's career much since the 80s really, but I really do like this song.
GREAT song, loved Sting and the Police. Wished I saw him when he toured for Anne Lenox, another great singer.
