So happy that you want to know more about kpop. 2ne1, Wonder girls and Girls' generation were top 3 girl groups of gen 2. They are from BIG3 (the 3 biggest kpop companies YG, JYP and SM). 2ne1 really changed kpop's standard about girl group because their music and their visual are different. I believe they heard lots of diss from k-netizen since they debuted because of their visual but they made everyone admit their talent. Unfortunately 2ne1 disbanded but you still should definitely check their songs, which I highly recommend are Fire (the debut song), I am the best (which I believe is the most successful), Come back home, and the two ballad songs: Missing you and Lonely.

In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,790 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and single-parent household in South Korea. She is an only child, being strong indepent she is, I really admire her for that. She goes to korea to train all by herself because she has the passion to reach and achieve her dreams. We all know blackpink members are rich even before they became blackpink but they didn't look at theirselves higher than anyone and when you became a trainee you just have yourself, trainees are ostensibly allowed to communicate with their parents, the nature of the beast doesn't leave much time for it. When the wildfire occurred on the evening of the 4th, Blackpink said, "we sympathise with the pain of the residents of the Gangwon area," they also cancelled their comeback press conference meeting which was scheduled the next day. In Dec 2018 they were awarded prize money of 20M KRW (16,800 USD) by Elle Styles Awards, but being angels they are they donated the amount to low-income and single-parent household in South Korea. And they donated another 16,800 USD worth fruits for low income people to sell.

Every fanmeets, concert or other events the girls would always got expensive gifts from fans. But you know what, regardless of the price, the girls would still jump for joy getting gifts from fans.
