Loved how you handle the situation with your kid, being gentle and making him understand daddy's busy recording the closing of the video, hats off! I envy you guys so much, I'd love to visit a Gundam Base someday but I bet they won't ever come to Mexico, although a trip to the US is way cheaper than a trip to Japan lol you got some pretty cool model kits! Looking forward for the build
Appreciate it! It comes from experience, and having a teenager and raising my nephew from a preteen through high school so I guess technically speaking I'm on kid number 3 so I feel I've learned a lot of ins and out with having patients with the wee-ones (or should I say "wii" ones). The mobile base was very cool, but it does pale in comparison to the ones in Japan. The main on in Diver City, Tokyo, I literally spent hours just browsing through models, not to mention I was fortunate enough to be there during the Gunpla World Cup so there were so many awesome builds on display. I hope to do the build soon. I need to figure out a way to set my camera up to stream/record it. I think I'll need to buy a new tri-pod for it. Thanks for the view and comment!
Nice! Enjoy, it's really cool. Hopefully the lines aren't as long for you. Is there a particular Gundam you're going there to pick up or just want to experience it?
I went to this event as well, I went into the actual HobbyTown and they had an rx-78-2 PG unleashed in there. almost picked it up myself but, decided on a metal build instead.
This video rules! We spent 4 hours in line on Saturday and ended up getting an exclusive kyrios in clear! It was an amazing event, we got sunburnt a lot too
Thank you for the compliment and I'm glad you had a blast at the Mobile Base and got the Kyrios! I too got a sunburn out there on Friday but nothing too bad and luckily it has faded now. So wow, 4 hours was that getting there early or 4 hours after it had opened. I was wondering how busy it would be on Saturday, I guess that answered my question.
I don't know for sure if there will be one next year, but given how packed day one was in Richmond, I would say the smart money is on them doing this again. I saw so many people buying hundreds if not thousands of dollars in Gundam models. If and when they announced a 2025 tour I'll talk about it on the channel.
That's honestly a great question, I dig the grim reaper/bat vide of the mech (note I like all versions of the Gundam), but I think it's an extension of Duo since he's my favorite character in Gundam Wing. Which is your favorite Gundam?
Love the V-fin hat haha.
I look forward to seeing the finished Wing Gundam. I'm working in the MG Sandrock at the moment.
Thank you! Can't wait to dive into that Master Grade. Haven't done an MG build in a long time, I need to mentally prepare, lol.

I'm headed to the knox TN one thanks for the heads up on what VA was like, I'll be sure to let ya know how it goes.

How did you like the event overall. Other than the wait I had a great time. It was also nice to chat with fellow fans while waiting.

Why is deathscythe your favorite?
