could i use this for snooker / pool ques because i dont have guns and it looks they would fit if i adjusted everything. The side shelves would be drawers to hold chalk and que tips
One $30 sheet should be more than enough. I also bought some nice pine boards to make a face for the rack but it is not necessary, you could just use the leftover plywood from the sheet. :)
I believe i used 1 1/4 in long screws. However the length isn't too important as long as they're long enough to reach through the top board, but not so long they stick out the other side. :)
@mywoobee Dude...I have waited 7 YEARS for someone to say that. And you are the first. I feel like you should win something! Yes, A design flaw, and I knew that from day One. However, I figured it would still keep kids out, which isn't nothing.
@@MechNinji nah, I'm just looking for a design to fit my extremely little gun closet. I have them set up horizontal and it looks ok just haven't found what I want. Nice video.

Yes, I think you could! Like you said you would have to adjust a few things but yeah! That should work quite nicely! :D
Cool project! It's great to hear your voice again lol
hahaha! Thanks!
Can this fit both a MK 18 and a M249?
Feelzbad CHAI probably too short for a MK18, unless stock were fully extended.
Good job, kid
Awesome video man , I was just looking for a rack idea and this is what I want . Thank you bro
Looks exactly like the 50$ Nerf one :D
Oh awesome! I didn't know nerf made a rifle rack. I'll have to look it up!
@@MechNinji I recommend coop772 's video on it
BTW, just got an old (but great) mini table saw from a cousin of mine. :D
very cool! old tools can be the best!
Mechanical Ninjineer Absolutely!
Do you know how much total plywood I need? Like if I were to go to Home Depot, how much would I buy?

Thanks man!
I know this video is super old, but how long are the screws you're using?

Really nice! :) And doesn't listen to that "oh, you shouldn't have guns, you shouldn't talk about guns, guns that, guns those, mimimi" people. ;)
Thanks!
Great video
Thanks!
Latch is attached wrong but nice video
nice video ..
Thanks! :D
3:47 in liking what i see new sub...
You go too fast I'm trying to write this all down dude for my nerf blasters
haha! Well I think you're going to have to scale it down some for nerf guns. :)
Pleb
Same bro
Actually slightly scale up if you're doing the cutouts for barrels
You should stockpile about 5,000 rounds for each firearm you own. You might need a bigger shelving unit.
Well this is designed for more quick access to your rifles and some of your ammo, not necessarily to store your whole supply. :)
Mechanical Ninjineer right on, keep up the good work kid
Did you seriously put a lock on a door with exterior facing screws?
😂😂

All these guys building racks for 5 rifles. That doesn't even hold a starter kit...
