    Awesome compilation ! I have learned about this show about 2 years ago, when I encounteres the comedy version of this show. I love watching it on yuotube. Thank you for showing us some older moments too!

    I worked for a TV rental company and I remember we had pre-tuned all the sets in the shop and stood and watched the start of Ch4 with people 3-4 deep in the street.

    If the BBC air these classic episodes, they would air on BBC Four.
    31st October 2022: (The very first one) - 7pm
    The one where Jon does the rap - 7:30pm
    1st November 2022: The one that features Susie Dent first episode - 7pm
    The one where Rachel spells her last name - 7:30pm
    2nd November 2022: The one with the 30th Birthday championship - 7pm
    The one with Des Lytham first episode - 7:45pm
    3rd November 2022: The one with the Guinness World Record - 7pm
    The one with Jeff and Rachel first episode - 7:45pm
    4th November 2022: The one when Des O’ Connor solves the numbers - 7pm
    The one with King Dick - 7:45pm
    They would air on BBC Four if they aired the classic Countdown episodes marking the 40th anniversary.

    For 807, apart from Des O'Connor's solution, there is an easy alternative to achieve the goal:
    75 + 8 = 83
    83 x 10 = 830
    830 - 50 = 780
    9 x 3 = 27
    780 + 27 = 807
