Very shocked and saddened, I was lucky and honoured to tour in the support band with Talk Talk on this tour great band brilliant people had some good laughs.
Hi. The English gigs we did was a warm up in the North, in a club believe it or not, before going to Europe, and then I remember Norwich, Manchester and the Hammersmith Odeon in London at the end of the tour. But we did every other gig in Europe but not the Scandinavian ones because the venues were too small .As far as can remember we did nearly all the gigs. Our drummer used to beat the drummer and Mark up had them both in a head lock one day on the floor, done Marks ribs in.They used to call us scouse cunts and we used to call them cockney bastards, laughs, beat them at footy too.
there arnt many bands that sound better live than on record, Talk Talk do it everytime. My fave song , and Marks voice gets me everytime. That drumming break must have taken alot of rehearsal to sound so good
That is more than you can expect. Brilliant musicianship, a bassline that hooks you, great voice and lyrics and a perfect live performance that makes a genius pop song shine even more than on the record. Mark Hollis - RIP and thanks for your body of work. Masterclass!
All of them AMAZING! The percussionists - both - are great and beautiful. Paul Webb so cute and so amazing. Once that Mark Hollis didn´t steal the Show!
I believe there is a full video of this concert but it wasn't given an official release due to the outrageously bad editing job, as can be seen in this clip.
I was lucky enough to be in the audience for this concert, amazing band live.
RIP Mark Hollis
MALC07 T Is it true Mark was performing in his socks …. shoeless??? And Lee in his Slippers?
I was at the Birmingham gig on this tour..yes Mark was barefooted amazing nite.

I bought the London 1986 live cd when it came out. The emotion coming out of this performance is just amazing. Something we'll never see again.

Holly shit! This ist overwhelming...... :o
Ian Curnow is 50% Talk Talk with Mark Hollis.....genius
Gwen made an ok cover, really good to be honest, but Mark is playing in another league!!!
Brilliance denied...one of the tightest live versions of this classically wonderful song...too bad the cinematography sucked so bad...
Don’t u got the entire gig? Damn it🤬
Has anyone got the full show at all?
I believe there is a full video of this concert but it wasn't given an official release due to the outrageously bad editing job, as can be seen in this clip.
demasiado estatico Mark hollis, tan divertido en los videos y tan apagado en vivo
Yo no lo veo asi . 🙄
Yo lo veo un tipo sufrido ..sus canciones transmiten tristeza pero con melodías hermosas .
Grew up way this fkn magic
