Hi Mouse. Personally I'm no big traveller, but I do enjoy films about all the wonderfull places on the globe. I'm sure one can spend years exploring all the bits of Jersey. Flying is always an adventure - so coming back to Mother Earth is always a good feeling. June seems to be a favourable schedule, as the weather is fine & the shores are not crowded. Luckilly the wind calmed down, when you booked your boat trip (I guess dolphines prefer fine weather too, when joining a boat). The adventure golf facility does remind me of Fall Guys... 😄 Kudos to the sushi place: their platter is a little piece of cuisine art! As the restaurants on the island are obviously putting a lot of effort into some delicious dishes. Wise folks say, that the end of every journey is the start for the next... Wow I enjoyed that! What a great holiday. I think you chose the perfect time of year,! The beaches were deserted and the weather looked good, if a little windy at times. I thought for a minute you were going to take part in the boat race but I think you were right in sticking to the boat trip with the dolphins. You got so close to them and you can see that the dolphins were having a lovely time too chasing along with the boat. Such a sad situation for the puffins. I hope they manage to get the population to recover somehow. The statues do make a good highlight of the issue. I didn't realise how big puffins were! So much to enjoy in this video, thank you for taking us with you!!
Yay, I'm glad you liked it! We were lucky with the weather and the beaches! The statues were so good, and yes, I'm sure the real puffins must be a similar size 😂!
Jersey is a great place. So much to see and do in such a small area. It seems so much bigger than it is! Did you see any of the scary Manx Loaghtan sheep? The ones with a ridiculous number of huge horns (four or even more!)? I had one advance upon me on a clifftop making the most unhinged 'BaaaaAaAAa!' sound I'd ever heard! Those sheep were introduced to Jersey from the Isle of Man because they were the closest surviving relatives of the extinct Jersey breed.
What a cool Vlog! I hadn't registered the scale of the puffin statues until you walked under them! Amazing to see dolphins up that close. All the food look so great 😋 09:12 is like a random scene from a horror film got spliced in...still enjoyed it 😄
It's good to have friends in fun places. I used to be one of those. You went paddling? Is that swimming or boating? I want all the food in this video, but I'd leave the pickles off that blt. I'm glad you got to see wild dolphins. I've seen them a few times from shore and from boats. The first time, they even did a few jumps. 8:38 Oh, you could've walked on that barefoot.
I think paddling is more walking... :) Funnily enough, I removed the pickles from the BLT! Other than that, everything was excellent! Wow, that's so cool that you've seen dolphins! The issue was more that the tide was coming in and was already close to the wall so we didn't want to get stuck on the beach! 😂
@@quietasmouse It sounds like we like the same foods. That brownie dessert looked perfect. It's similar to a batch of ice cream I made on request. That first time was pretty much perfect. We were on our way to shore from my first time deep sea fishing. I think I was 8. After we passed them, they decided to ride our bow wave for a while, so I was up front watching them and getting wet. I saw a few flying fish while I was up there too. Oh, still rising? That's different.

I'm happy you like Jersey too! I haven't knowingly seen those sheep; they sound amazing. Next time I go, I'll look out for them!
