- Just like any other day were at the junkyard and we had some time so i thought i'd film some of the newest members of the collect or crush club. we have quite a few interesting joiners this week, and make sure to subscribe to see who makes it, and who turns into a toaster oven !
The Lumina Euro is one of my all time favorite cars. I had a 1990 Euro Coupe and a 1993 Lumina Z34.
Whenever I click the videos I am interested in, it always is JAY SMART.. Thanks for all the great videos. BTW, I has this Honda Civic 4drs 25 years ago
Hello from the UK.. First watch of your channel. Good and interesting stuff. Love classic cars, nice to learn about some of your old stuff.
That Lumina is definitely worth saving. It a good car to flip and its a euro trim.
It's a lumina not really.
I bought a 1990 Chevy lumina 4 door sedan with a 3.1 liter v6 brand new. I drove it to 287 thousand miles before I sold it to my coworker he drove it up to 343,000 before he gave it to his kid it would still be on the road today if it didn't get sideswiped and totaled. best card to this date that I have ever owned only thing I had to put on it was a alternator and a water pump
Its nice to see what kind of goodies get brought into the junkyard every week you never know what you will find
*that falcon looks like it could be restored easy*
That silver 96 Taurus looked solid yet, just needs a good cleaning my Dad had one just like that car, hope it was saved! Was a nice car
Nice White Ford Falcon Ford Granada 1983 Ford Fairlane wagon nice cars👍☝️
The Ford Farlane 500 wagon appears to date back to 1965. It's a shame that it's too far gone to be salvaged.
Noooo, wait, is that black galaxy for sale ??
That CRX has got to be worth doing something with. Ok, the engine is seized but the engine in them is basically the same as the Civic hatch from the same period, and a number of other Hondas from that time so if the rest of the car is not bad then hanging on to it and sticking another engine in when one turns up and it's a car that should be worth a decent amount of money. Early CRXs are getting pretty rare now and they have a good following so someone will want it for sure...
yall sould save the falcon
that falcons decent coming from a midwest resident
Keep the caddy. It's a classic!
Save the Falcon
if it's blowing water out of the radiator it's a blown head gasket
how much for the falcon
Am I the only one who likes the white Cadillac Coupe De Ville, among the first vehicles featured?? Having no airbags, that car looks like an '89 and looked much better than the shorter '88 it replaced. I've always liked longer cars and for a while then that car was my favorite since the 1980-85 Olds Delta 88 coupe went FWD for '86. Anyway, get this: the '89 could use regular fuel, NOT premium. Starting in '90, Cadillacs would require all of its vehicles save for the big RWD Fleetwood to use Premium. This requirement was finally relaxed around '04 or so. I'd love to rescue the car if I could.
That Chevy is also nice
10:29...Dude, you got yourself a regular "Rodent's Hotel' rats' nest rest home there! BTW, that "big ol' hoopdy"(same car at 10:04) was the same kind of car that got "the banana up the tailpipe" (except it was beige) by Eddie Murphy in the original "Beverly Hills Cop" from 1984.
the best six that Ford made was an 300 inline 6
Rob Helton yes it is. I had one in a pickup. Bullitt proof.
I like that Honda
9:52 Every time i see a ford LTD like that i remember the police cars/taxi from GTA Vice City lol
I actually have one of those as a derby car it's tough running it this year
The LTD is a fox chassis. A 5.0 conversation using a wrecked fox Mustang would be a weekend bolt together project.
That Euro Lumina is going to be wroth MONEY some day restored
What motor in the wagon? And that falcon 2-door looked totally save able, from the drivers side anyway! Nice lightweight hotrod
I've got a Z34 hood for one of those Luminas.
Hey bud where is your junkyard located? State? City/County? And would you by chance have any Z24 Cavalier's? The 2.8 & 3.1L models?
So many cars like that, on the street, for sale! People go and look at them and are like "YUCK, this car is filthy, I don't want this!!" It ends up going to the junkyard since nobody wants it. Clean it first! :P
04 mustang v6 was a 3.9. It was just the same engine with a bigger bore. Fun fact: the v6 engine in the sn95 was borrowed from the Windstar. The reason the 04's had the 3.9 was because the freestar was given the 3.9.
The trunk tells you what sort owned that coupedeville.
I have a 1985 Ford LTD and that thing is not seized up and it has the same 3.8 motor as the one in this video and I'll tell you what that son of a bitch has some power they're pretty damn good but I enjoyed seeing this one in the junkyard from this video whatever happened to that car???
My first car was a 1984 Ford Ltd brougham. Would love to see that beast run.
we used to have a Galaxie 500 2 door a few years back it was awesome
The motor on those lumina's were very reliable.
I loved the 1990 I had years ago!
Jay Smart I've still got my 92 Euro sport that I bought in 1996 lol. Great car still looks and runs awesome. Its got 300,000 kms. Had a guy waiting for me at the store who owned one back in the day to tell my I was preserving history lol
How many miles is on that Jimmy I have one like that one
Hay mate do you have any chevy blazers in if so how much?
The Lumina Z34 was advertised as having "twin dual overhead cam V6 engine".
Hello Friend
good the video
here in chile arrive some models that you showed as the honda civic and crx so good models
LTD only made for 1/2 year in 86.Was replaced by Taurus
Can I ask you guys if you see a lot or any late 80’s early 90’s Jeep Wranglers (yj)??? I’m having a difficult time finding them in junkyards
I want that lumina
Is the Falcon still there ?
Actually you got that backwards. GM had the 3.8 first. Ford essentially copied their design for their own 3.8 due to the popularity of the GM 3.8.
Ford 3.8. I like to call it the 3.great! Biggest pile of garbage since the 2.9. This is what makes me mad about Ford. Blatant planned obsolescence, they come out with what is considered by many to be the best V6 engine in their history, (Duratec 3.0 and 2.5) and base all of their V6s off of it and, they still produce some garbage engines. 3.8, eco boost 1.6, 1.5, spark plug spitting modular V8s. (The modulars are good engines if you can get over defective exhaust manifolds on 5.4s, spark plug spitting through '03, sparkplugs coming apart on 04-11s? When you try to change them. The 3.0 vulcan was a good all around engine. Ford, wake up before Toyota eats your lunch!
buick designed the 3.8 in the early sixties. they sold it to amc then bought it back during the gas crisis in the 70's
GM's 3.8 came out in 1973 in the Buick Century. Long before Ford came out with theirs.
The fenders are plastic on that 1989 Cadillac Coupe Deville also
Lmao “ king cobra 40’s!!”
Save lumina and Cadillac iether one could become a collectable car and was wondering do you get many old station wagon there
how much for the falcon? I'm interested
6:39 how much for the car?
The rwd LTD became the fwd Taurus in 85 was revolutionary for the time, they only made the old LTD one more year later in 86 after that was the front wheel drive craze all American automakers were after started to dominate the market everywhere, due to easier production and better performance and handling in all weather. The 83 Thunderbird and Tempos started the " jellybean" no hard edged Fords and soon everybody else cloned and copied them going even till this day. So in my opinion that LTD is worth saving and could still be a good car if someone put some TLC into it, body is not rotted and seems very straight still!
What's that red car next to the dark Impala at :14?
luminas lol very good cars except that the windshield is a PITA holds the roof up
love the wagon but it needs alot of work.
I live nowhere near the junkyard, but I want to get a beater to work on for less than $500 to test my knowledge on mechanics. Since I'm 15, it's frustrating that I can't drive in NY, but I probably shouldn't be driving around in a turd that I'd work on.
Hopefully a conrod won't rip through my skull. Hopefully.
It's a 1989 Cadillac Deville so it's a 4.5V8. Great motor just like the 4.9V8. Jaysmart 88-90 Deville have 4.5V8 and 91-95 Deville have 4.9V8 (94 and 95 Deville Concourse models have the 4.6 Northstar)
I’d save that falcon
the crv its got good hatchets---- hatch struts lol nice.
Must apologise from the British side for that Honda, it was a collaboration between Honda and Rover Group that spawned a generation of truly horrible cars with the Legend being the only Honda worth it although Rover did produce three MG badged variants which were like racing spec compared to the bumble boxes, I think the MG variant of the red Honda was the MG-ZS but do take a look at the Rover 200/25, Rover 400/45 and the Rover 75 (the 75 was based around a Rover owned remnant of Jaguar and was a very smart car except it used the horrible K series which in comparison to the Honda engines were piles of doggy doings).
I would say though my last Honda, a US built in Philidelphia, Accord Station Wagon with the optional type R kitting was a phenomenal car and had tons of power and lots of positive road holding which one wouldn't expect from a US car normally.
Save them, resell them.
Yes that Lumina should be saved also!
that Ltd is fox body chassis. 5.0 will bolt in.
Its long gone now
Im surprised to see a junk yard with no K cars or its varients
Do u got any nissan stanzas
No, but funny enough back years ago I had a Nissan Stanza Wagon!
What motor in the red Subaru wagon and is it standard?
Not a clue!
Save the '89 Cadillac Coupe Deville!
See an grey 86 Ford LTD in the background by the Lumina,
you have any 1985 c10 parts
You're the best!
I want the Honda civic
I like that LTD.
That white Cadillac defiantly reeks of weed.
Save the civic and the euro

Good Ole brooklyn. Which side did ya work on ?
What about the 58 Chevy at :10?? Not interested or already shown?? Why pass on the Lumina. Looks better than the Honda's??
Lumina had no title, and the 58 chevy can been seen in another video we made " classics left to rot"
Searched your channel back 6 years and searched UA-cam for that title. Didn't find it and gave up. Do you guys watch "coldwarmotors"??
They werent that heavy. I knew a guy who had the DOHC 3.4 and the manual trans:)
Did you save the lumina?
I wish i had. But sadly I couldnt at the time
Does your dad own the scrap yard?
No his dad just works there Randy owns it
Hay jay you won't happen to have a 1962 ford ranchero in that yard would you i need parts
No sorry
Ok thank you
Save the wagon
Whats up with the 1958 Chevrolet as you first came in the yard ?
Just awaiting its fate. There are two, the farthest one is a Biscayne. One has a complete engine/transmission, and the other one is just a shell. And i cant remember, but one of them also has complete interior thats not too bad.
Love to watch you work
the Lumina z34 was really fast.
for what it was
That civic is in mint shape
Cool A WereWolf! Hiya!
Holy shit , a 2 Dr lumina !!!!
i bet you will get that honda running if you wanted to
Nope
Hell yeah army shovel, lmao
Falcon and Lumina are the only ones worth anything
Answer some of the questions once in a while. Geeez..?
Them Cadillacs were about cheap and cheesy looking inside always thought the dash display was hideous looking.lol
lol i had one of the Z34
nooo don't crush them they part history sell them on eBay or craiglist just call up one owner car guy he buy them all
Ive offered a few things to him. But we are a little too far for that to be practical for either one of our wallets right now
Bam Bam Ti
cool video
Those engines are cheesecake to swap
I bet you that ford would run
