When I put hardware address equal to zero I got the following error "Invalid TwinSAFE Address for alias target system (1-65535 allowed)."

This only works in stand-alone mode with out an EtherCAT network. What version of TE9000 are you using? Also, best practice would be to give it an address anyhow. 😉
