Stoked you made the move Kraig! I think Denver will suit you well. Also love how you said “you’re coming with us” to your pup because we always have to tell Hazel she’s coming with us too😅 Hope to find a chance to meet up this year.
Welcome to Colorado! My wife and I live in the Denver metro area, and have been hiking around CO since we came here in ‘85. We have thoroughly enjoyed your UA-cam channel for about a year now. Now we hope to bump into you on some trail soon. (And a thought for you; you mentioned your goal to climb 14ners. Definitely do that! That said, we have found most CO 14ners to be great hikes, but often swarmed with other hikers. CO 13ners, on the other hand, are generally as-good-or-better hikes (more remote, natural, scenic), and I rarely ever see anyone else on those hikes.). We hope you both enjoy your new home!
I love your vlog style, it's spontaneous and does capture real life moments and memories in ways that more structured or formatted videography does. Both have their value. Enjoy Colorado!
You’re an inspiration to me. Traveling and exploring the outdoors are two passions of mine, and your videos embody the life style I want to, and plan on living. I live in Colorado and have done a good amount of backpacking, there is still so much for me to see though. I’m going to exhaust my ability to explore all of the wonders CO has to offer over the next year. After that I’ll be traveling the world, embracing new cultures, finding my identity, and see all the beauty we’ve been blessed with on a global scale.
i'm convinced we're cut from the same cloth, brother - I too moved to Colorado from NYC 4 years ago (mostly to hike 14ers!) and have an aussie that is a literal clone of yours. you are going to love it out here!
Congratulations on your move, Kraig. I have been watching your content and enjoyed it for a few years now and love seeing those awesome far away places in high definition!
Welcome to Denver, Kraig, Mica, and Sasha! Glad to have you here. No doubts that you'll enjoy the easy access to outdoors from Denver in between your amazing world travels. Your dog is just like mine! You said it in the vlog, but Denver is a very dog friendly city. Look forward to seeing your next adventures!
Congrats on the move! Beautiful video. Thank you for sharing highlights from your life. It's always a pleasure watching these, and I enjoy how you mix up the formats and try different things. You are an inspiration!
Holy heck we're neighbors, welcome to Sloan's Lake! Have been following since the earlier WFS days and has been great to see your content change and grow. Can't wait for more hiking/vlog content around Denver and Colorado!
So many happy changes in this short vid! Happy wife, happy dog, new house, new car, brotherhood. Gosh it's good to see Kurtis. All the blessings to your new life Kraig, stay happy!
I just moved from the San Francisco to Boulder so feel a connection to this video. Moving with two people and a pet is a lot and excited you guys made it safe and are finding the time to explore
Welcome Mica, Craig and Sasha to Colorado from me and my aussie pup Kiwi. We love the easy access and freedom to enjoy the beauty of living here. I know you will find inspiration and joy. Moves and getting situated have challenges, looks like you're all doing well and settling in.
Holy crap congrats! I am from New York too and made the move to Colorado this past September! Welcome! That would be cool if you did some led hikes here I would LOVE to go! I live in Denver as well!! Sloan lake is my SPOT! WOW ! can't believe you are so close!
I started off in wedding filmmaking and have followed your journey since 2016. My wife and I (and our golden doodle, Oliver) moved from Louisiana to Colorado Springs in November of 2021. We visited Colorado Springs for our honeymoon in February and we decided to make the move. We absolutely love it in Colorado but it has definitely been an adjustment! I’m not even joking when I say this, let’s link up and hike Pikes Peak! My neighbor/friend, who is a full time wedding photographer, just hiked Pikes Peak and loved it.
Welcome to Colorado! I just moved here two months ago and it feels like I’ve been here forever already. I absolutely love it here. Definitely found where I belong.
Love love love the new format. Love you talking some, not all the time, but some is TOTALLY great. Hope you will do some cooking on the channel too, or show us different foods on your excursions out or foods from around the world...JUST FOOD. lol. And some rain, too.
It’s weird because I hike sloans lake often, and I saw you walking your dog. Waved and said hello but I didn’t want to bother you. I really hope you love the area, and it’s surreal to know I share this space with you guys!
This is awesome. My souse and I have lived in California our entire life. We just bought a house in Idaho and are getting ready for this same huge move in September! This has got me so excited for the change of pace
Welcome to Denver! We're up in Broomfield; we love the city atmosphere, but also the proximity to just head out in the mountains and get away from it all. Ignore the haters who say "Denver is full," you seem like you have the right personality and are someone who just "fits" here. I hope you get settled smoothly and enjoy it here.
Hi Kraig, wow great choice for a move! Enjoy your new home with your sweet wonderful family! Sasha looks like she is loving every moment of her new home and it's so awesome to see Mika hiking with you too! I personally love CO and am looking forward to coming back to hike again with my pup too. Yeah the elevation can be challenging for some.I'm looking forward to watching more of your adventures. 🤗🐾🐕🙌
I lived in Edge water a long long time! Moved away in 2002! So happy you moved to the West side of town. Just the prettiest state and the people are awesome too. Enjoy your new home
Welcome to Denver Kraig! Hope you and the family are enjoying it so far. I got excited when I saw you live at Sloans lake, I live right off the lake too and its a great place!
Love the photo of Hornbjarg in your office, I'm going hiking there next week 🤩 I'm from Iceland and we own a bit of land in Hornstrandir. I go hiking there every year - it's my sanctuary 🥰 Hope you have a good hike in Iceland in July.
Greetings from Athens, Greece. As a guy that works in an office and stares at his computer all day, your vids are a nice break from office life/routine. Take care and keep on uploading!!!
Welcome to CO. I grew up in the sloan’s lake area and still have a connection through family to that area. I’m sure you’ll enjoy all the places to hike and we’ll love seeing the videos. Having just returned from Israel last month and having done the Del Norte Camino last summer. It perked my interest about doing a trail in Israel after seeing some back packers near the Sea of Galilee. I’m just not sure about the safety of doing a trail over there. I definitely wouldn’t hike the Dead Sea area, too hot and dry.
Congrats on moving your family and getting a new car. I'm right at 2 1/2 years being car-free and have saved a good bit. It's not hard being car-free in a large city when there are a couple city transit options and can travel out of town with Amtrak, airport and car rentals. I'm looking forward to my next car. I'm sure your wife will love driving!
We moved to the Boulder area a year and a half ago from CT. One thing I did notice about having an east coast pup in the mountains is that their pads can get worn out/cut up from the rocks and gravel here, keep an eye on em, they'll toughen up over time. See you around man!
Love your content! Congrats on the move! The mountains are just magical. Very excited to see your upcoming trips and hikes; Iceland, Switzerland etc. OMG! Did I hear it right?! You are heading to Taiwan for the hike?!?! A few years ago my brother and I hiked Yushan (Mount Jade), just enjoyed the whole process so much. Don't forget to apply for the permit, everything can be done online. There are quotas for foreigner vs local. And go to Hualien; the mountain and the sea all close to each other and take a train back up to Taipei. Keep it going Kraig!
Wow, CONGRATULATIONS on the new move to you, Mica, and Sasha, so exciting!!! Great idea prior to having children also 😉 You’re such a joy to watch, such an inspiration and so extremely talented! I wish I knew what you know at your age, just awesome! Stay safe and enjoy your new world 🫶❤️
Kraig, congrats on the move to Denver. Once you get settled, and have occasion for a really nice meal, try the Ship Tavern at the Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver. I was there 37 years ago for a deposition in a lawsuit I was working on, and it was Thanksgiving weekend, and my wife and I had the best rib roast dinner there I've ever had. If it is still as good as it was then, it's worth trying. Also, check out the Bluebird Cafe in Denver, great spot for breakfast. A quick internet search indicates that both places are still in business. For your hiking enjoyment, check out the Weminuche Wilderness in the San Juan National Forest on the western slope of Colorado. You can access it via the Durango - Silverton narrow gauge train in the summer, and there's a stop roughly halfway to Silverton where the train lets the backpackers off. With maps you can navigate over a couple of high mountains in the wilderness through a saddle and get further into it and eventually come out at a different exit point. It's been many years since I was there (summer of 1975), and unfortunately, coming from Louisiana, I developed altitude sickness and severe headaches once we got above tree line at about 10,000 feet. I just wasn't acclimated to the elevation well enough coming from sea level. We spent two nights in our tent and had to come back down as the headaches persisted. But the area is gorgeous and I'm sure you could map out a great circuit hike there that might be worth doing a video on. Cheers from Lafayette, LA!
Moved to foco a couple years ago in pretty much the same situation haha. A husky in a uhaul from NJ to CO is fun. The hikes out here are beautiful and you're gonna love it. Can't wait to see your future videos!
Great place to move kraig. This only means we get to see more hiking vidoes. We got outselves a lot an hour southwest of denver. Can’t wait to build a place and start hiking. I am excited for you kraig.
Good luck on LAUGAVEGUR. I plan to do it this year as well, but I live in Iceland and can afford to wait for good weather on the trail. There is still a lot of snow at the moment 😕 We had the coldest June in several years!
The vlog format is nice to switch things up. Looking forward to the upcoming hiking videos. There are some beautiful hikes in Ireland you could consider while in Europe ☘️
Hello from Argentina ,I like so much your videos and i invited u come to the Chalten ,Santa Cruz . The hiking Capital of Argentina . Grettins and the best luck !!!🍀🍀🍀
If anyone asks me if I want to move and live in NY. My answer is "No" because every time I visit NY city I always have a feeling of negative energy from the city. I feel suffocated when going down to the subway station. The same way I feel when I used to live for a few years in Philadelphia. Glad that you make that decision. You will find a lot of outdoor activity and happiness there.
Welcome to Colorado!!! How things going for you and your wife and your puppy!! My family and I moved hear back in August 14, 2014. We are from Topeka Kansas. We love it. @Down with Corporate Amerika Both great venues actually. I've played at both. But yeah, if I had to choose, Red Rocks is the best (maybe in the world). Disney Hall has AMAZING acoustics though.
Stoked you made the move Kraig! I think Denver will suit you well. Also love how you said “you’re coming with us” to your pup because we always have to tell Hazel she’s coming with us too😅 Hope to find a chance to meet up this year.
Thanks you two. Down for an adventure link up lmk
Welcome to denver!
No, Denver is crowded and cluttered now. The more people keep coming the more expensive it's gonna get.
Welcome to Colorado! My wife and I live in the Denver metro area, and have been hiking around CO since we came here in ‘85. We have thoroughly enjoyed your UA-cam channel for about a year now. Ive lived in Colorado my whole life and have never climbed a 14er dont really care too either expect for a couple.
Stoked you guys are here! It was awesome meeting and hanging at Mt. Evan's!
I love your vlog style, it's spontaneous and does capture real life moments and memories in ways that more structured or formatted videography does. Both have their value. Enjoy Colorado!
From a fellow New Yorker (born and raised) who moved to Colorado, WELCOME! Hope to bump into you guys on the trails. You're going to love it here.

don't move to colorado!!! the crime is horrible
@@RebelViews420 It sure is. Colorado is such a horrid place. Absolutely decrepit ;) ;)
i'm convinced we're cut from the same cloth, brother - I too moved to Colorado from NYC 4 years ago (mostly to hike 14ers!) and have an aussie that is a literal clone of yours. you are going to love it out here!
I love and feel your compassion for animals, dogs; in particular, Sasha. You are so cute when you talk to her as if she’s human. ❤️
I moved to Denver two years ago and found your channel on the drive here .. so cool to see you moving here!!
Congratulations on your move, Kraig. I have been watching your content and enjoyed it for a few years now and love seeing those awesome far away places in high definition!

Vlogs are the soul of this channel. Please keep them up (at your own pace).
I’m delighted for all three of you. Colorado looks absolutely incredible, especially for three outdoorsmen. Safe trails guys.
Excited to see your new life in Colorado. I loved living there for the 5 or so years before moving to the PNW.
Holy heck we're neighbors, welcome to Sloan's Lake! Have been following since the earlier WFS days and has been great to see your content change and grow. Can't wait for more hiking/vlog content around Denver and Colorado!
Watching from a small town of India.
I've watched all your hiking films multiple times. So peaceful and relaxing.🤗
So many happy changes in this short vid! Happy wife, happy dog, new house, new car, brotherhood. Gosh it's good to see Kurtis. All the blessings to your new life Kraig, stay happy!

Congratulations on the move, Kraig! So well deserved! Puppy is so loved!
Welcome Mica, Craig and Sasha to Colorado from me and my aussie pup Kiwi. We love the easy access and freedom to enjoy the beauty of living here. I know you will find inspiration and joy. Moves and getting situated have challenges, looks like you're all doing well and settling in.

Awesome seeing the view from Longs, I was filming an episode of Mount Ida today and Longs was so prevalent in the skyline.
Really enjoyed your vlog Craig! Please keep it up with your videos.
Motivational and intriguing as always pal! Can’t wait to see what next HikeOn!

Good luck! We loved living in Colorado - nature at your doorstep.
Good luck on the new location. All the states from the rockies and west are very exciting.
It's always amazing to hear about your trip plans, just like I'm going hiking.

Welcome to Colorado Kraig! The greatest state in the country! I live south in Colorado Springs and love every day of it.

Congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈 Kraig on your new apartment. It looks like your adjusting nicely
Welcome to Colorado!!! How things going for you and your wife and your puppy!! My family and I moved hear back in August 14, 2014. We are from Topeka Kansas. We love it. I'm also really enjoying Pewdiepie his vlogs in Japan
Happy you found a new place. And hopefully we can see more vlogs to!

Welcome to Colorado :) hope we can run into each other during a hike at some point!
Welcome! Glad to have you here!
Congratulations! I grew up in Denver and really miss it (In LA now for 25 years). Such a nice blend of culture and nature. Yeah, the sun beats down kind of harshly, but you do get used to it. I think you guys are gonna like it there!
@Down with Corporate Amerika Both great venues actually. I've played at both. But yeah, if I had to choose, Red Rocks is the best (maybe in the world). Disney Hall has AMAZING acoustics though.
Welcome to CO - where I fell in love with hiking, nature, mountains and alpine lakes.
Best of luck to you.. hope you enjoy lots of skiing and snowboarding in Colorado.
Welcome to Denver! I think you’ll find best of both worlds (cosmopolitan city and great outdoors) here!
