I thought the female vocalist here did an outstanding job tracking on these rather dynamic melodious licks ... great range and on key. Outstanding music. This arrangement sounds like something EW&F would have done in the the late 70's early 80's with Phillip Bailey doing the lead!! Great job Incognito! Please do some state side work!!!
It's harder to jump around if you have a keyboard or a drumkit. Yes, it's true that bassists always seem to be much more modest, not sure why. Unless you're Marcus Miller, Verdine White or Louis Johnson perhaps. Those types are exceptional though. Guitarists just tend to have more ego, like singers. It isn't always a bad thing, and I'm a guitarist so I can say that.
@@williamarthurfenton1496 Not sure it's ego involved there. Bass players need body balance to glue up the music; being physically centered makes the basslines sound more solid, and really helps us to lock in with the drummer. Not an actual fact, but it's never been flatly contradicted in my experience of 40+ years. So bass players not moving around much is a fairly common thing, and I believe there's a rational reason for it.
I absolutely Love this Song, Dis Ma Jam Right Hur. However I think the entire band might have been Flying high on Cocaine, mixed with Speed, and Monster Energy Drinks with a side of espresso. Lol little quick, tiny tiny bit. A Smidgen
To raposojulio Because the guitarrist is the bandleader and he wrote the music. He is incognitos mastermind. If you ever get the chance to see incognito and bluey on the stage go and get the magic of great musicians and a wonderfull human on stage who is of course the guitarrist! Think and then write...
to raposojulio: this great guitarrist and musician and of course a wonderful human with a great personality is the bandleader, the head, heart and soul of incognito!!!!! If you´ll ever find a chance to see and listen to incognito you will understand what i´m talking about. Sometimes we have to think first and talk later. How will I know what I´m talking about, if I don´t know what I think before I speak...?!?
Start a tour in the States and come to Cleveland, Ohio for we are known to love jazz music and artists like yourselves. Who? Is that beautiful, talented yet sexy Sister????

@tiborb73 He had his eyes closed lol seeing every single note
I really do wish they'd slow down a bit, it hurts the groove playing it so fast.
