20 Years After a Fire

This house hasn't been touched since a devastating house fire sometime in the 90s in this house in rural Ireland. One half of the house has been destroyed but the other half is almost in perfect condition. There's no electricity connection to the house so I guess the fire was caused by a paraffin lamp.

That small box of "tools" in the trunk upstairs was a box of attachments for a sewing machine. Most likely a treadle machine which does not use electricity. I know this because we have almost 400 sewing machines out in our barn. My husband restores them. And yes, I do use a treadle sometimes. They're wonderful!
This was a very good video. So nice to see that vandals had not destroyed what is left of this house.

The homeowners probably did not have enough insurence to cover the home to cover a fire, so they just took what the insurence gave them and moved on.

I think I’d leave everything to be respectful yes I’d take any coins I found but I’d never sell them i would keep them forever
