Hiroyuki Sawano, who composed this song, is a composer who specializes in orchestrated songs.
If you are interested in the composition of Tot Musica's songs, I recommend listening to the Attack on Titan soundtrack.
Ado started her career by singing Vocaloid cover songs.
Songs such as "Ussewa", "Giragira" and "Odo" are songs that Vocaloid producers provided to Ado.
And I don't think it is necessary to understand Japanese to listen to Japanese songs.
I think it's fine to just listen to music and enjoy it. If you are interested in Japanese, please try studying it.

Ado does a fair bit of covers (mostly of vocaloid songs) or songs for specific things such as some anime openings and in this case songs for an anime movie
If you do end up doing other reactions of her music I really recommend "Ussewa" which started this all or "Gira Gira"

Learn japanese to talk about japanese artists? That's the most ignorant thing I've heard. Music is made to cross boundaries and language barriers, specially Ado's music. You can feel and understand the rage on this song without needing to understand a word.

I don't think you actually need to know Japanese to talk about Japanese artists, the more Japanese you know the more you understand Japanese (logic thing) but that doesn't make someone not able to talk about Japanese artists. Anyone can have a thought on Japanese artists, or any artists in any language.

As others have said I think you need to check out her version of Crime and Punishment. But then I would suggest USSEEWA Piano Ver. for the angriest piano on Earth, and, as a wildcard, her song レディメイド (Readymade) just because I enjoy the jazzed out drums on it. Cheers! =)
this song is just only one of her genre , only shows her high notes on this , crime and punishment if like similar to unravel , godish if yo want her switching voice the entire song , fleeting lullaby if yo want her to hear rapping , love ka had interesting vocal (idk what kind it is) , backlight if yo want to hear a punk rock , man she just got too many on her arsenal , i even hear her made a whistle voice on one of her live concerts , the best artist of this era i suppose

From this same album/movie, check out "Backlight". It's probably my favourite Ado song currently, and that's saying something.
The film is an absolute need to watch to understand the context of this song, along with all of the others in the movie. ADO is the only artist i have been listening to lately as they are all that good. React to her live performances to truly appreciate her talent.
But don't you have to watch over a thousand anime episodes before you understand the film?
