Been practicing this piece on piano for 2 months now and never thought it'd be so expressive and tender on guitar. Thank you so much for sharing. Lovely interpretation, really!
Always a pleasure to visit you and your lovely Music. A welcome relief from War, pandemics and climate disasters. I wish I could just stay here forever.
Tatyana, I am from New Orleans, Louisiana. I've heard many musicians in my 63 yrs. You are exquisite . Perfection ,and the most soothing fingerstyle music yet...I admire you to the fullest!!!!!!!!
I just transcribed the Roland Dyens' version from standard notation to tab: PDF: www.mediafire.com/file/80l50niod91lqzf/Chopin%20-%20Waltz%20Op.69%20No.2.pdf Songsterr: www.songsterr.com/a/wa/CollaborationAction/revision?id=341204 Enjoy! P.S. No left hand fingering or dynamics, was too lazy to do it lol
A superb, sensitive performance! Chopin loved the guitar as we all know, and I am sure he would have applauded this wonderful arrangement and performance!
Hello from Scotland, what an absolute pleasure to watch and hear you play with such love and feeling. In a world of increasing mediocrity and strife, you are a true gift to us all. Thank you.
When I hear Tatiana playing guitar I love the universe for ever. When I hear other classical guitarists 99/100 of the time I look at my watch very quickly, dreaming of going outside and having a beer. That 's the difference.
Many years ago I saw Leona Boyd in concert and was just floored! Same reaction to your playing.....thanks so much. I have taken up classical guitar myself. .. about a year now...just love it.
Wunderbar, Tatyana!!!
Felicitaciones Tatyana, eres magistral. Desde Uruguay.
I can't stop listening this piece. I love the precision of this performance, the discipline that gets the highest expressiveness. What is amazing here is that you can feel throughout the sound the same facial expressions of tenderness the Taty has without really watching her. The same expressions that a mother has with her baby when they play together, for example. Chopin IS that tender. The ability to transmit "moods" through the sound is rare. Many authors looking for it become affected. Many players lose class and elegance getting easy showmanship in search of that ability, like Lang Lang for instance. Taty, instead risks to go for broke, puttin' the flow of her Passion and Joy under the control of a steel discipline, but without suffocating them, gently. As we say in music: "con dolcezza". A Joy to play that are so great that perspire from every sound that comes out from her guitar. A Passion that's never left free to gallop away like a wild horse, but a marvellous thoroughbred under perfect control, to whom she loosen the reins at the right moment. Passion with control and discipline = pure art. In this mix stays, IMHO, the greatness of Taty Ryzhkova.
You have a beautiful, rich and warm guitar sound. The technique is flawless. I loved the video as well, the colors look like a painting. I can tell a lot of time and thought was put into creating the right atmosphere for making this video. Great job Evgeni Jolondz! Well done and thank you Tatyana!
This piece is probably the easiest piece of Chopin for the piano, I learned to play it when I was very young. But I can't imagine the feeling that it is played with a guitar, it is really amazing and totally different from which is played with a piano. Thank you for letting me discover it!
This is by far my favorite performance by you. La Traviata a very close second. Such amazing, graceful, fun, and sparkling interpretation of this beautiful Chopin piece. Absolutely stunning ❤
Great! I've been shopping for guitars and I marvel at how wonderful your instrument sounds. Tomorrow I expect delivery of my 5th purchase in two months and I hope it's a keeper. My wife HATED the tone of the 3rd guitar that got sent back. (I thought it was OK) With the 4th guitar I realized I needed a 52mm nut, that a 50 wouldn't due. Aside from your having a beautiful sounding instrument I Love, admire and respect your musicianship in a HUGE way Tatyana. Thank you for contributing to the joy in my life.
This is the best transcription sound wise that I have ever heard. The one in Bm and Em do not bring out the tonal and superior guitar tones as Roland Dyens. thanks for sharing this awesome performance.
This is the best version ever for guitar of this Waltz. I sometimes think though her expressions do not match the feeling of this masterpiece. Well done!!
I deeply enjoy listening to Chopin... It's so lovely to hear your performance on the guitar! I'm an amateur guitarist and want to learn some pieces of Chopin too now. Tatyana, you're an incredible artist and also such a lovely person! ❤️ Hope to see you playing live in Germany some time!
I picked up the guitar because of Chopin. I know it sounds weird, but his etudes are some of the best compositions I have ever listened to, and I know for a fact that several of them would sound cool in electric guitar. But waltzes like these really make me appreciate both the acoustic guitar and Chopin's compositions more.
All the effort it took to put Chopin into a Guitar. And then to put him on UA-cam. All his struggle. And you tamed him. Because of that we enjoy him. My eyes are blurred beyond glasses. I can hardly see what I am writing. Truly Tatyana, someday you will not be able to play this good. But your recordings will be heard, as if you are forever young.
Beautiful performance! And I love your expressions, the way you look at the guitar and the technical expressions on the instrument (Rubato, Vibrato, Harmonics etc.) . All those little things just make your performance better.
Thank you so much, dear Tatyana!!! It is wonderful so smooth so lovely such an awesome performing. And this feeling this feeling just melt my heart. Thank you again! See you!! :)
Wonderful! Your reverse reflection in the piano is a creative homage to the composer. Tip of the hat to the director. You're a delight to hear as always.

Nice job bro
thanks
It's a joy to see someone play who so genuinely loves their instrument. I love the gestures of emotion.
A superb, sensitive performance! Chopin loved the guitar as we all know, and I am sure he would have applauded this wonderful arrangement and performance!
I play that piece on the piano, but listening to it on a guitar was a great thing specially the way you play it, awesome, wordless, gotta love it!!
Linda ejecuucion
Me, too.
Hello from Scotland, what an absolute pleasure to watch and hear you play with such love and feeling. In a world of increasing mediocrity and strife, you are a true gift to us all. Thank you.
Chopin by far my favorite pianist his songs are just as beautiful on the guitar. Love it such wonderful playing!
When I hear Tatiana playing guitar I love the universe for ever. When I hear other classical guitarists 99/100 of the time I look at my watch very quickly, dreaming of going outside and having a beer. That 's the difference.
Really talented! Nice shots and editing! Thank you!
Complimenti.
It was by accident the first video was found her first video but this one I deliberately looked up. What an incredible artist.
I just love her expression when she performs. Totally relaxed and calm. Bravo Tatyana! Encore..encore! :D
Her technique is pretty bad though which is a shame.
Many years ago I saw Leona Boyd in concert and was just floored! Same reaction to your playing.....thanks so much.
I have taken up classical guitar myself. .. about a year now...just love it.
Bravo! Soothing, though melancholic. Thanks for sharing your music to the world, Tatyana.
rewelacyjne wykonanie, wspaniały klimat i wirtuozeria - Excellent performance, wonderful atmosphere and virtuosity
Wunderbar, Tatyana!!!

A whole show and thanks for giving us all your talent. Congratulations and greetings from Chile, land to the south of the world.
Words can’t describe such an amazing performance. Stunning. Just stunning!❤️
Beautiful piece and playing. The guitar is superb- the sounds is dynamic with great resonance. Your many videos are great as well.
Thank you so much for sharing your music Tatyana Ryzhkova! Thanks as well to Roland Dyens for the great arrangement! Absolutely beautiful!
Thank you Tatyana. Your technique and interpretations are wonderful.

Tatyana interprets pieces from the Romantic period in such inimitable fashion.
This is probably the best Chopin interpretation played on a guitar of all times!

Thank You, Tatyana. You are lovely to listen to as you are to look at. Love the way you have played this Chopin piece !!!
So weird bro
Some things seem not to belong to this World. One is her beautyness the other is her technique. Congratulations. Realy wonderful. Thanks.
I'm lost for words how to properly describe your rendition. It is so good and I really admire your music and expression.
Beyond wonderful! Congratulations and many thanks dear Tatyana! - Athan
There are passionate players as well as precise ones, but players with passion and precision like this are truly rare and should be celebrated!!

What do you mean? This is in B minor.
This is the best version ever for guitar of this Waltz. I sometimes think though her expressions do not match the feeling of this masterpiece.

❤️❤️❤️ So beautiful on guitar, I am sure that Chopin is also smiling if he is listening
And probably I does not care.

Thanks you for your beautiful interpretation and playing classical guitar. Wish you the best
I just love this interpretation. Slowed down just a tad making it danceable if one so wishes. Not saucy or proud. Classy and smooth.
It's a gift for my hearing, and vision too !!! Congratulations Tatyana
this woman is my inspiration! Thank u for this video, Tatyana💕
Chopin himself,I believe, would be pleased with your interpretation. Wonderful rubato, phrasing, dynamics, and those nice slides! Congrats!
All the effort it took to put Chopin into a Guitar. And then to put him on UA-cam. All his struggle. And you tamed him. Because of that we enjoy him. My eyes are blurred beyond glasses. Beautiful performance! And I love your expressions, the way you look at the guitar and the technical expressions on the instrument (Rubato, Vibrato, Harmonics etc.) . All those little things just make your performance better.
Chopin had all the best melodies. I also like the look of the room this was recorded in, and it has a public telephone!
So much emotion! Bravo!

Dziękuje Pani Tatiano, pięknie zagrane
I think she adores her guitar and appreciates how it does what she tells it to.

Wonderful! Your reverse reflection in the piano is a creative homage to the composer. Tip of the hat to the director. You're a delight to hear as always.
The rubato in the second melody is excellent. I also like the way in which you play the lower voices in the first subject, it's really original.
The arranger dips their toe into the greatness of the music .
Too beautiful. The melancholy, the happiness are all present here. Chopin would be very pleased.
What a rich tone, so masterfully performed! Thank you beautiful Tatyana.
Mats
great playing Tatyana awesome sound and really nice feel, you got my thumbs up :)
Roland Dyens would be proud.
Frumos interprete de Chopin. Bravo!!
You make this sound as if it was written for guitar. Wonderful.
