We can’t let Bryce Underwood and Harlem Berry get away from us

Im an lifetime lsu guy. But we need to be honest with ourselves, These recruits are 11th and 12 grade kids. We make way to much of these kids and their indecisiveness. NIL is just a tool used to get the players we need. Louisiana in general needs to develop their businesses and NIL funding otherwise we will continue to fal behind

Crazy easy fix on D.Moore loss. Get James Simon, Convert Harlem Berry to Receiver. The world saw how him and Bryce underwood put on a show during the 7 vs 7's Speed??? Plenty

No RB with Holly's case unlikely to be resolved until the season's already in full swing?

The government needs to establish rules immediately for NIL or there will be a lot of out of control lawsuits.

HOW ABOUT RULES FOR COACHES- SALARIES ETC.

@@pierrerochon7271Yes, I don’t believe in any coach getting a 10 year contract for double digit millions, regardless of who it is. 5 years max.

Government? Tuck Fhat! NIL does need to have some caps just to keep it level but government? You’ve lost your mind!

Govt is the problem. Never a solution

@@spidaman0112 Coach Saban testified in front of Congress and said they need some kind of system to be established for NIL. I trust his wisdom more than most. Presently there are 30 states that allow for High School NIL. Brony James signed a High School NIL deal worth over $7 million. Nike has a NIL deal with a 13 year old soccer player from California. Most minors NIL money is controlled by the parents by law. Not all parents will put the child’s best interests or needs first. This is a new frontier that needs rules and someone in government will be in control of whoever is heading up a council or system to establish rules and regulations.

I’m all for anybody anywhere making money on their name, image, or likeness. But this whole deal is obviously straight pay-to-play now.

Give us a kid that wants to be at LSU over a kid looking for the money or playing time every single time. The 3, 4, 5 star thing is a joke. As a teacher who is around 17-18 year olds every day for 30 years, (and only in my opinion), kids back out of commitment for 3 reasons: Lack of character, more money elsewhere, coaching changes. Granted, I am totally biased as an LSU alum, but if you don't want to play here, good luck, be safe, hope it works out for you.

      - Respect to u- Your Statement-Hope it works out for them- if u really mean that Comment- than please consider this- everyone should get fair money for their talents, - including 17-18year olds- a one year scholly- and the risk -of PERMANENT injury along with being processed out- is that compensation enough? -As a teacher I am sure you have taught poor kids from single family homes - that depends on them to help support the family. Do u believe that the NCAA should have introduced revenue sharing, trust funds, health care etc.
Your comment regarding lack of character may be subjective? Should only recruiting kids that want to be at LSU is a bit unrealistic? -Please consider the facts -ESPN, SEC, Conference COmmishs etc-. ARE ALL GETTING PAID!! -We live in a capitalist society- Supply and Demand- Please give the players their fair Piece of the AMERICAN PIE. THANKS

Meh...just abandon recruiting the higher ranked Texas kids..This is gonna happen repeatedly when Texas wants to keep it's higher ranked kids home....College football is not used to the highest ranked Texas kids staying home..

Bro you’re getting shade for your comment, but I totally agree with you & coach BK. As BK said, NIL is always available for any kid who wants to play at LSU. However, your desire to play here must trump your desire to get paid, otherwise you’re always searching for highest bidder. No coach worth his salt would risk destroying his locker room by bringing a hireling to the team.
