This video is older and therefore I have a new opinion and outlook on the Minecraft Lore as a whole, check out the Broken God Saga if you want our newer (and better formulated) takes on the Minecraft Lore. ua-cam.com/play/PLjv9ppY7p7whLC8XR61WC6tMIOZ1nK5I2.html
Once you are done with this series you should release a mega video explaining the whole minecraft timeline.
I shall! It'll be a big project but it'd be worth it!
It's so good to see someone else that cares about the lore of the other Minecraft games and their relation to Minecraft. If the oceans get updated, I hope they make them deeper, taking advantage of the new world depth
Now that Minecraft Legends is out, I find it interesting how they use _prismarine_ in the game. There's no oceans you can explore, but Prismarine is one of the main upgrade materials, used exclusively for constructing the towers that give you buffs. Additionally, the tutorial area that takes place in Knowledge, Action, and Foresight's domain seems to be constructed of mostly Prismarine as well.
I think Minecraft Legends was back when the sea level was lower, and some event caused the sea to rise. There are many parallels in both the normal game and MCL that support this.
I feel like Minecraft needs an overhaul in the majority of what it offers. There’s a lot of simple tweaks here and there that could really enhance the game’s overall quality.
Quality of Life update
Same. Legends and dungeons shows Mojang has ideas and creativity...yet Minecraft is left feeling ...barren. look how freaking LIVELY the dungeons gameplay is! Minecraft is almost sterile in comparison.
An optimization update would be nice. The Farsight mod is a no nobrainer to add and hoe detection works or achievements and so on is done in the worst way possible.
The potion Monument is my favorite structure
Now that I have seen all your theory videos I gottta say, pretty good for such a small creator.
What i like about Minecraft is that the devs want to allow players to create their own worlds with their own lore. You create the lore for your own world in any shape or form Whether that be through mods, building, or like you, theories etc it is a Sandbox game after all.
Also xatrix, Do you think other dimension exist besides the end, overworld, and Nether? could you make a theory on it? Also Im wondering if your gonna do Lore/theories based off terraria
I mean the Deep Dark 100% generates from a different dimension, whether it'll be a future content piece or acting just as a story element.
I haven't played Terraria in ages, but I'm not completely opposed to making theory videos on Terraria
@@Xatrix Well, the devs have said before that before any new dimension is added they have to keep all 3 to standard (Basically they have the overworld, and lastly the end left before any new dimension is considered.) Also doesn't The Gauntlet of gales from MCD look like it came from some-kind of air-dimension?.
@@Xatrix maybe the dungeons the ancient past but enough to be forgotten an explore the end but when the endersent enrage been reclose again for a really long time. in-between the before the present and after fall of the civilization
@@Xatrix you have no proof that the Deep Dark is from another dimension.
In fact, one dev hinted that it comes from below the bedrock. The Deep Dark biome is just the tip of the iceberg
i know that legends came out a while after this comment but the place that action, foresight, and knowledge live in is absolutely another dimension. also the fact it's made of prismarine may have massive implications regarding ocean monuments
Awesome! I was waiting for this! (pops Chorus Fruit instead of popcorn)
If they started drawing from MC Dungeons for future content updates PAST 1.20, that wouldn't be a bad Idea since It's cannon to the main MC.
OR they could use the 1.20 era of Minecraft to freshen up the experience by drawing from Legends and Dungeons!
I’m back :)
-Again, the Mobestiary shouldn’t be used as evidence, due to it not being canon.
-It was never officially stated that Dungeons takes place before the base game, and as I’ve said, it is more likely that it takes place after. In Dungeons’ prequel novel, it is explained that the Arch-Illager made a deal with the Nameless One where he’ll use the Orb to make the undead immune to sunlight. The redstone golems in the Broken Citadel (which are confirmed to be given life by the Orb’s energy) show that things that are empowered by the Orb retain their power after the Orb is destroyed. Thus, since undead mobs burn in daylight in the base game, Dungeons must take place after.
-The Eye of the Guardian artifact seems to imply that guardians are at least somewhat organic. It has no wires attached anywhere and it looks like an actual eyeball.
-A hidden part of the guardians’ texture looks very much like red flesh.
-I am using the Mobestiary as a base for the theory, branching off of the ideas it poses or implies, I think I have said that in the past
-Anything can happen within large amounts of time, especially the reversal of Mob Burning, the time gap may or may not be too big to completely pin down one event that could have just changed off-screen, I’m using the major consensus that I have seen saying it could be a prequel, we do not know enough about the world and Ender magic to know how long effects may last for or if they can be reversed, like how Piglins in Legends don’t immediately zombify, which may not be completely canon, but seems to be somewhat based on real events from the canon, just altered from being passed down
-I’d assume there wouldn’t be actual wires within the eye, moreso being there to connect it to the guardian
-I doubt a hidden part of a guardian texture would translate into actual lore, being not meant to be seen.
@@Xatrix
-You shouldn’t use stuff that’s regarded as fact as evidence, like the anatomy drawings.
-What do you mean by “connecting”?
-Then what would be the point of the texture being there? Also, why do they drop fish?
-Confused on what you mean about if it's fact it shouldn't be used as evidence?
-I mean by connecting as in either the veins/cables connecting the eye to the rest of the Guardian's body, the eye wouldn't be able to transmit what it sees to its brain without being connected
-Theres no point of the texture being there, you could say the same thing about text being in the og pigman skin being Canon.
About the fish I've heard that they consume fish to power themselves which is a interesting bit that could go against them being mechanical, but could work somehow
@@Xatrix
-It isn’t fact. There’s stuff in the Mobestiary that are more like theories made by the in-universe author, which is what supposedly you’re getting your “inspiration” from. However, the stuff you use in your theories, such as the drawing of the elder guardians’ anatomy, is regarded as fact within the universe that the Mobestiary was written in. Thus, it shouldn’t be taken into consideration when making theories about the offical Minecraft lore.
-If it’s machinery then how would it work while it’s submerged within a liquid? I would get it if the prismarine shell was protected, but for the artifact it’s completely surrounded by water. And why would it need to be in glass case filled water in the first place? Guardian are still able shoot lasers when outside of water. Unless, it’s an actual organic eyeball, which would be hard for the player to hold when outside of a case.
-But unlike the pigman, the texture is used in its model, it just can’t be seen on the outside. (I guess this can’t really be used as evidence though, as the red part was removed in 1.14)
-Where did you hear that?
@Name-jy8kn Which one?
in the concept art of the ancient guardian it showed us a white variant of the ancient guardian
More lore, yessss
Thank you for creating the lore of guardian you listen to my request thank you so much xatrix 😊😊
that isn't the ocean monument o the mosaic - it's the well of fate from minecraft legends.
Imagine if they added a Minecraft dungeons update to Minecraft with all the mobs bosses gear structures in Minecraft dungeons like this comment if you think the devs should a that for 1.22.0
how do you know where dungeons take place?
wait arent ocean monuments made by villagers? also i feel like multiplayer is more canon than singleplayer because only *1* human remaining doesnt make much sense especially since dungeons has many
Both Villagers and Humans because of the villager statue in mc dungeons ocean monuments and humans because of the drowned spawning near ocean ruins and carrying tridents.
Potion monument, haha...
