Cant thank you enough for listing those certs, not to mention the homelabs! I got some studying to do... Currently working helpdesk, but my sights are on a cybersec career 🎯
Excellent idea to document your exp for labs/projects. I constantly build up proof of concept projects for my job in my homelab or azure to learn a concept or test and just forget to document it outside of my job.
These tips are super useful. I am currently transitioning into the cybersecurity field, and I am in the process of crafting my résumé. Thanks a million!
One thing to add, if you are applying to US federal government/contracting jobs, add your clearance level as well in the header. (Assuming you have one already).

I was just working on my resume lol, Helpdesk looking to become a SOC analyst, I have Sec+,CySA+,Pentest+ and more...but I do need to start doing projects!
I'm a career changer/swapper. I am 25, have experience in consumer banking but no IT or Cybersecurity activities. I am studying for the Security + Certification and I am going to a good public college in NYC. Idk where to start. I have a resume but it's garbage compared to templates I see online.
thank you so much for your contribution. I am a fresher man. I am studying at CMC University in Viet Nam. And i am seeking knowledge about cybersecurity and i reality don't know myself whether i can follow that major. i will try.
@Day Cyberwox I'm not paying anything for college so I'm using what's available to me. I have certificates but no experience. Ngl, I feel like a degree would bypass a lot of the BS with HR.
Don’t bc a lot of colleges doesn’t even touch you the skills you need that is required by companies….that’s why Google stepped in and made their own course bc their tired of people coming in straight from college with 0 skills
I recommend doing google course, then another course or boot camp for cybersecurity while doing projects/clubs like that one capture the flag thing and just build your resume with skills you learned/experienced….that’s the best route for cybersecurity
@@njpmeWGU cybersecurity degree, you get like 8+ certs, the degree and as fast as you can take a test is as fast as you pass the classes, I'm about to finish my degree and I will have spent 1.4 years on it. Faster if I'd not have had a little lull for a couple months earlier this year.
Is there a reason why you are selling an entry-level resume? If so, is it to raise money to buy equipment/resources for your next project? However, if not I don't see the reason to tell your viewers to buy it.
Hello guy I've been studying cybeesecurity for a while, I have comptia + almost in my hands, can you clarify 2 doubts? 1: Can AIs take over security jobs in 15 years? 2: Is it easy to get remote jobs in the US? what value do people earn is this 400k year real?

Would love a vid on your wgu experience day!
It’ll be my first video next year!
@@DayCyberwox Lfg exited to hear about it. I start the new bsse program in March and currently pregaming
is there a link to the tutorials for how to do all these labs/ projects?
Yeppp they’re all in the resume
What is that textbook for Security+ that your senior recommended you to pass it that you mentioned as a guest in GPS?
what projects and labs I can start doing? (beginner half way through Google cert)
awesome vid
Day where would I put my skills since there is no section for skills on the template such as proficient in Java, python etc
Could you recommend the most appropriate home lab for beginners in your opinion 😉
Can I get a internship as a fresher in cybersecurity? When I'm a fresher in Bachelor?
Man I'm going back to school. I can't even get an interview.
I won’t recommend going for another college degree without at least trying the self education route.

Do you recommend us to put certification that we are taking in the future? or wait till we pass it?
It’s fine to put it on but have it as “in progress”
Always put you are working HTB or try hack me as ongoing projects.
Good idea but actual projects (imo) should have precedence
