GLITTERIFIC!!! Love them both. I’m new to resin and nervous about jumping into it. I always heard that adding a lot of glitter to resin would inhibit the drying process; but I see so many artists do it. Does it depend on the TYPE of resin used in the mold?
I’m a newbie, love all your work, thank you….i am curious, is there a video on how to clean up when your done with resin? I’ve been throwing the stuff away, but that will get costly! Tku. Ohhhh and Venice area is our favorite vacation spot…..sharks teeth hunting is always fun with the kids.
She does have a cleanup video. She always has it linked above in the description. Most of us start out using the throw-away cups, then move to reusable silicone cups. If we get the disposable plastic cups in a kit we will use and reuse them. But most of us don't buy them. My only disposable cups are either freebies, or my paper cups that I will use when I have to split up resin to make small batches of 10:44 colors. But I'm now really liking reusable hard plastic cups. I have a set of small 50g cups, larger 100g cups, 250g cups, and a couple 500g cups. To me, they are easier to clean and mix in.

If you place the turtle vertical and pour the head first you will avoid the resin to float and shell bits dropping into the head.

There seems to not be a limit on glitter since it doesn’t change the chemical composition like inks and pigments do. So go crazy with it!! 😃
