legit question... when you are opening the compartment for the cooking dogs you always open the one you just put the new dogs in first than grab the cooked dogs from the other. just curious cause like thats the one thing i always pay attention to haha

So I am not familiar with how US tax system works and I was wondering, when paying by card, Anthony lists the total and then the card machine adds tax. But when paying with cash, is the tax included or what?
I am not sure how Anthony runs his business but maybe "some of the cash" portion is not included in the gross receipts.......you will also note he sometimes gives a slight discount to cash customers as there is a card charge to the merchant for its use
I’m not American , but I’m pretty sure he has to admit most of the cash too.(probably at the end of the day he records the cash amount, and pays taxes on that, I’m guessing the tips are excluded).You can’t really make it look like your business is just spending money out of nowhere while not making a profit.
There's a fee to be paid to the card processor for every transaction. Historically businesses have been paying those fees. More recently it's become common to pass the fee on to the customer. That is what you're seeing happen here.
