- The Bengaluru-Vijayawada Expressway (NH-544G) is an under-construction 518 km long, six-lane access-controlled expressway connecting Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, & Vijayawada, the second-largest city of Andhra Pradesh. It passes through 11 districts across both states, significantly reducing travel time & boosting regional connectivity.
This expressway, also known as the Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada (BKV) Expressway, is a part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase 2 project. It combines greenfield & brownfield sections, with a major portion being newly constructed while some existing national highways are being upgraded.
The project, estimated to cost ₹19,320 crore, is being built under the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). Upon completion, it is expected to improve logistics, reduce traffic congestion, & enhance trade & tourism between the two regions.

There must be something related to political or something like that, As that Airport was in Controversy for a Long time, Or they just don't to make it public, As how much work has been done. There might be some other issues, I didn't explored much.
