I'll never forgive HF for introducing 2 different battery styles for their power tools. I already owned a few bauer tools when hercules stuff came out, so now I'm kind of locked in to the bauer lineup. They should have just made trhe batteries the same allowed me to pick which tool grade I needed, something more made for the DIYer or more for the professional crowd.
@@rogerd.3941 I used an adapter for milwaukee/bauer tools and it was just a clunky unpleasant experience, wouldn't recommend it in general. but yes it is an option.
The problem with all those kits is most of us already have the tools that are in the kits because Harbor Freight waited way too long to come out with kits....even that Bauer 6 piece kit is pretty pointless for many people for the same reason, we already have all that stuff....what they should do is come up with a build your own kit solution. I don't see the need for 8AH batteries, so that deal isn't useful...defeats the purpose of going cordless with all that battery weight it makes the tool more cumbersome than its worth. If you gotta drill holes or drive fasteners above your head frequently you'll much rather have much smaller batteries LOL. They have a Hercules 20V Jigsaw out now too for $80. Seems to work great, probably not out on the shelves at some stores yet though, I had to ask about it at the store I go to, they had a couple in stock but weren't out on shelves yet, I mentioned its kind of hard to sell stuff if you don't have it out where customers can see them.
Don't you remember all the wailing and gnashing of teeth because there were no kits when they were doing "build your own kit".... now they have kits, and now there is wailing an gnashing of teeth about too many kits. Just like a woman.
Cordless is usually cheaper because they don't come with a battery.

there is an adapter that allows your Hercules/DeWalt batteries to power Bauer tools

HF does same pricing all across the country!

Anything else you wanna complain about?
The 8ah batteries are almost mandatory for something like circle saws and angle grinders, or leaf blowers. For drills and drivers? You're right.

You dont need the attachment for the drywall gun… collated drywall guns/attachments are for schmucks
Hercules needs an inflator
