Mike the Bible is exactly what America needs ! Mortz is awesome
When does Melissa get her Pool ? Just wondering 😅
It's always been said that the best form of advertising is word of mouth by satisfied customers, and it's free.
Thank you, Mike & Melissa. I'm a big fan and appreciate your efforts to make my morning coffee more special. I hope you don't mind if I include you in my prayers occasionally. (Greg in Ellijay, GA.)
Mike, I cannot tell you how much I enjoy interviews like the one you did with Mr. Bennett abd his son, Pat! As a self started small business owner x33 years, their words really hit home! 💪👍🇺🇲
Nice trailer and seemingly very nice folks. The Bible has been the greatest book on earth to me. Its the answer to every question.
Bennett's are good people and are great to deal with.
Mike, thanks for all the due diligence you do. It sure helps others decide on purchasing for their needs.
Thank you for helping me figure out the trailer I need that looks like a great trailer
Good morning y'all !!! Hope your Sunday is perfect in every way !!!
Mike, Set the parking brake on the truck when loading or unloading the trailer. That trailer moved quite a bit when loading. Don't rely on the park in the transmission to hold the movement. You can always block the wheels on the trailer to prevent any movement. The property looks great!
I drove from Texas up to Bennett Trailer Sales and bought my Legend Deluxe V-Nose 7x15 from Pat in spring of 2021, great experience all around and still loving my trailer
If you had a rack that could fit into the two front stake pockets, then load the tractor with the loader resting on the rack would give you an extra 3 - 4 feet in the rear. FYI. The rack could be removable when not needed.
Good morning and Sunday blessings to all OWTM family...Best of luck with the new trailer.
Well congratulations!! Looks like a sweet deal. Sold two and bought one better. It really is nice. Hydraulics front and back. If it wasn't for the safety chains, you could hitch to the trailer wout getting out of the truck!! Cool, very cool!! A very nice upgrade. You need to name the new clearing. Like the old apple orchard. Then the road would have a name. Gosh, you really do have a nice property Mike. The thing that makes me so happy is the projects you've called out on your to do list. We have a lot of great stuff coming. I really do love your channel!! As always, thanks for sharing, and i can hardly wait for your next post!!! 👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
That was a nice touch with the Bible.
We can all slow down and do a little reflection on how fortunate we are to live on the North American Continent with a chance to live free and enjoy family life. And take sometime to respect and communicate with our friends and neighbors in person and hear their life stories as well. I was personally pleased , how Mike gave Mr. Bennett to share how he started his trailer sales business back in 1978.
Agreed!
The new trailer is spot on We can see you zooming down to Virginia like nobody’s business
“Have Morgan’s will travel“
Bennett’s what lovely people You do tend to endorse good family businesses Which is fabulous and word of mouth is the best recommendation ever
As for the road to nowhere Na the road to paradise It’s lovely down there so quiet and peaceful Maybe a shed on the space on the right at the bottom of the road Just in case it rains heavy Of course with a Coffee and Tea station
A great video and nice to see a little bit of Ohio
I worked on a Cincinnati milling machine for years in the engineering factory 🤷♂️
👍👍👍
If you put a couple of small wire cages that deer can not reach inside of in the new clearing you will be able to see how much the wildlife are eating the rest. It is something we do in our food plots as a way to gauge the amount of use. It is always surprising the difference. Great video and love the new trailer. Hope everyone has a great day
Nice trailer Mike. Now what you need to get for it is stake pocket tie downs. I got 2 for my trailer and I am going to get 4 more. They slide into your stake pockets and have a hitch pin that slides under the stake pocket to hold them in place. They have a heavy duty D-ring on top that accepts chains, and all of the different ratchet straps. No more fraying or cutting your ratchet straps on the top edge of the stake pocket. I have had 2 straps cut hauling my side by side. I don't have to worry about that anymore. Have a day.
I think you should invest in some wheel chocks for the trailer, just to be on the safe side!
Good morning to Hunter 👋👋😸 and family and friends , Happy Sunday everyone 🙏😸😺
Good afternoon!
Mike, as my dad would say, that trailer is the cats pajamas. Congratulations!
I ordered and bought My Legend in line snowmobile trailer from Bennett, had a lot of custom options and Pat helped me through the ordering process , highly recommend Bennett trailer ! great experience !
Hi Mike
I set the parking break in my Super Duty when I'm loading and unloading, especially when I dump logs. I find it keeps the impact down on the driveline of the truck and stops movement in the trailer when loading.
Looks like a sweet trailer!!
Once all stoned and complete, it will eventually be Eva's or Hannah's driveway to their new home, or maybe even both will have homes out there somewhere.
Awesome trailor Mike. Love the hydrolics front and back. Hydrolics is one thing that really made so many things easier in this world.
That was a great 2 for 1 swap of trailors.
That new traioor and the Ford truck are going to make it very interesting at the west Virginia property getting in and out. But you will figure it out like you always do.
They did an awesome job on your new gate, too. Very nice work but the girls and their men are going to need an automatic opener on that gate to get back to their properties at some point 😉
But that's not a problem for your fence guys to do. The front gate is proof of that.
Thanks Mike.
Always nice to wake up to the Morgan's, even better when there's new equipment.
Good morning everyone!
Genius on the fork storage. Really nice.
Good luck with your “ do-all” new trailer. WOW like a semi going down the road now.Happy trailers to you.
The road to the "Field of Plenty". So many opportunities to avail what that area will provide. Stay safe.
Good Sunday Afternoon Morgan's
Thanks for the Video Mike!
Keep Smiling On!!
😅👍👊❤️
- You likely already thought of this but might consider a rubber mat for the bottom of the side over tire tool boxes.
I thought same thing. Nice spot but what a noise maker!
Congratulations on the trailer purchase mike. It looks like it will be a good one for you. The only thing left to purchase is a bucket bunker for your attachments.
Those fork slots underneath are brilliant!
Your new trailer looks great, it’s always nice to find a family business with genuinely good people! I even enjoyed the drive and the countryside before arriving at the trai lot!
1978 I was still in High School and now I’m 3 months away from retirement… ☕️😎👍
Great trailer! Congratulations
GOOOOOOOOD
SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE!!!…Nice trailer Mike…if you thought a Camera lens got you in The dog house with Melissa…😂😂😂
Looking forward to seeing the trailer in use.
Thanks for sharing
Have a day
HELLOOOO Hunter 😊
Hey Jack!
Noticed while loading trailer you may need wheel chucks of some kind to keep that stress on transmission/ truck
Yes because the parking pawl inside the transmission is only designed to prevent the vehicle from rolling away under its own weight.
Things are coming together. Looks so nice.
Nice trailer Mike, good luck with it, everything about it is well thought out and built solidly.
Mike, that trailer will serve you well for a long time. Your excellent review of its features has given me ideas for mods to my own trailers (yes, multiple trailers). I appreciate the clarity of your speech and your straightforward logic. Have a good one Bud.
Mike if I'm loading a trailer I will jack up the front end to make it less of an angle to get on the trailer. I learned that when I had to load a car on a car trailer and it works great.
And the tool box's over the tires even has you first name initial on it hehe.
The Bible is a very nice touch if I need a trailer I know where I’m going!
or if you need a Bible good place to go and you get a trailer also. LOL..
That IS a great looking trailer. Hopefully you can get something on the wood to help it last longer.
Stilt grass-- I live in Northern, Ky. I have quite a bit of stilt grass in my woods and shaded areas, but none in my 30 acres of hay fields. I think that in open areas the tall grasses choke it out. Here it starts growing about the middle of May, Ellis
Mike Love that new Trailer , Mike and Man were is the spare ..
Nice trailer Mike. Makes a lot of sense to have the one trailer that can fill the role of the two you sold. Less equipment to maintain fewer storage issues. Have to love the hyd jack. The hyd power pack similar to the one in by Big Tex dump trailer. Very durable and great charging system.
Great trailer Mike. I know you know that when loading your trailer be sure you have the weight distributed correctly so you don't get your trailer whipping or weaving as you go down the road. I only pointed that out if someone watching thinks having your tractor or weight loaded behind your axles/tires on your trailer is okay. Thanks for taking us along, I appreciate your experience and skills and showing us how you do things. It is and has been very interesting. J.R.
Bible is very nice! Beautiful fence & road. Enjoy the road to nowhere.
That is a great trailer, the best I've ever seen so far. Glad to see and hear that things are coming together well for you. Can't see it doing anything else really. Hope so :)
Mike, super nice trailer 👍👍
That is a seriously well engineered trailer.Getting rid of having to slug heavy ramps already had me sold.Im getting too old to be lifting those ramps. Also the hyd jack, perfect. You can't go wrong investing in good equipment.Food plot looks spectacular. All good stuff.Supporting small business that cares.
What an amazing trailer!!! Great/smart purchase Mike!
That's a nice trailer! The best part is the Bible that comes with! Next is the hydraulic ramp.
Moritz makes some great trailers, I just bought my second Moritz dump trailer from Bennett's last week.
I noticed the trailer roll some, when you loaded and unloaded the tractor. A lot of people do that, depending on just the Park pin to hold things in place. BIG mistake! I've seen a trailer jerk just enough to shear off the park pin, and the whole rig took off on a very slight downhill grade.
Emergency brakes are pretty handy to have in these situations.
Great trailer. Good luck with it.
That liitle spot to the side could be a little parking spot for bikes or other small vehicles.
Mike the road to no where looks Great, I really like the approach from the house you can not see the whole area. Well done with the planning 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌
Would be interested in seeing your choice of weight distribution hitch setup if/when you get one.
Good Morning Morgan Family 🌞- Have a Wonderful and Blessed Sunday 🤠
Very nice, sturdy trailer.
How is this new trailer going to rate out as far as CDL rules and your truck/trailer combination?
The new trailer is really nice Mike !!
Nice trailer Mike but I would feel a bit nervous towing it without a spare tire
Good Almost Heaven Afternoon to the Morgan's!!
Michael, a good name for the 'Road to Nowhere' is either Morgan Ridge Trail or Morgan Mountain Road. Just a thought.
Moritz is awesome! I build the dump trailers there!!
Beautiful trailer. I really can see the dovetail being a huge "addition" to your fleet. Only concern would be payload on the truck, that looks like a lot of weight sitting on the back end of the truck when you have both the mower and tractor on the trailer due to the trailer axles being so far away from the truck. A cat scale video would be nice to see!
"Road to no where" could become a permanent name. Many years ago our grandkids referred to a 3 acre stand of sweet gum trees as the "spooky forest" and the name stuck, even when the grands are not here. So now, when my wife and I reference where we heard a noise, or where we saw a deer, we still call it the Spooky Forest. I love your "new" property!
Put a nice 5 ton winch on there Mike and get an 8 way fair lead, and that trailer will be an awesome hauler. Nice unit right there, you will enjoy that for sure.
Trailer is sweet, might have to make west virgina loop a little bigger
hey mike why dont you do a video detailing the changes upcoming to the wood yard wiht the new shed ..how you anticipate functioning in the new layout.. thanks for the content.😊
Sweet Trailer. Nice it comes with a Bible. !
Nice trailer Mr Morgan! I’m jelly!!
I want that trailer. Probably a little more than I need but you never know.
What a nice trailer
Nice trailer Mike. Good info video on describing the features. I like the hydraulic lifter. Very cool.
Nice trailer nice gate thanks again
Call that road, “Real Airplane flight”. :)
Nice! 👌👍Getting the Bible is a treasure! Morgans Outback is looking Great! Have a blessed day.. John
Hi Mike,
I've been watching and enjoying your videos for several years but this is my first comment. I know you've already come up with a name for your road but I thought calling it Meadow Road or Meadow Lane would have a nice ring to it.
Thanks for sharing all that you do. It makes me feel like I'm hearing from an old friend whenever I watch them. Thank you.
Regards from Maine,
Sparky
I would like to think the trailer would have a spare tire on it from the dealer!
That is a super nice trailer Mike. Great video 👍❤️
Hi Mike, you mentioned more than likely you'd never have the zero turn and the tractor, with the Land Plane, on the new trailer at the same time, but I had a thought. Is it possible to bolt a 4x4 or a custom milled 6x something where the winch goes, and then load the tractor first, and set the bucket on the wooden block, as far up as you feel comfortable, then load the zero turn behind the tractor, as close to the Land Plane as you can? That new trailer with the hydraulic ramp is the ticket, since I know your a good driver, but always thought the tractor tires hanging off the sides of the ramps on the old trailer were a little sketchy, though know people load like that all the time. Smart thinking when loading the zero turn, to raise the ramp so it didn't hit the deck on the break area, which looked pretty close to me too. Have a Day...Y'All!
Hello Mike, just a thought with your new trailer, try unhooking from your truck, using your new to you hydraulic hoist, lifting to max height (with beaver-tail in the up position) and then lower the beaver-tail, to see if you would be able to drive your zero-turn mower onto the deck-surface, without raising the beaver-tail. Just did a simulation in my CAD program, assuming 22' Ft. length from point of hydraulic hoist, to rear edge of the trailer with the beaver-tail, in the "up-position," works out to a 2 (Two) to 1 (one) ratio, raise front 3" inches, back drops to 6" inches. You can play with this, by adding say a 2: X 6" in. or a 4" x 4" under the hydraulic hoist. Just a thought. Hello Hunter, tell dad it's time to go to sheets for a chicken sandwich
Nice trailer! Should of got a rub rail on the stake pockets.
Hey Mike. Always set the emergency brake when loading and unloading something heavy. Especially on an incline. It will lift up on the rear truck axle and truck, trailer and you on the machine will take off down the hill. Don’t ask me how I know. Love the new trailer. Good luck with it.
Should put the truck in 4wd. Emergency brake works on rear wheels and if they're off the ground it does no good.
I have a 22' long cam super line deck over full tilt trailer--love it
Back the "zero turn' on and the tractor and hang the box blade over the zero turn...maybe "no hang over"
Should be getting plenty of liguid sunshine in the near future, looking at weather bug in our area.
Love the new trailer. The power tail well worth the money vs the back lifting the ramps and never in the right place. You surprised us all .
We couldn’t talk our purchasing department into the hydraulic jack for our backhoe/excavator trailers. Game changer Mike!
Yes, hydraulic jack is nice but many things can go wrong and for that very reason you can't beat a hand crank jack. Bonus is that you get a little physical activity too.
That’s what my hand pump on my fuel tank is for lol
@@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans Yes ! 👍👍
Mike, did you consider a goose neck? Much easier to drive, back and hook up. The hitch will come right out of your truck if you need the bed to haul anything.
Goose Neck would be great but going to WV I always have a bed full of stuff and didn’t want to loose all that space
Nice, I'm guessing if the attack angle was too steep you could always use that jack at the front to tip it up a bit?😀
Mike, I like the fork pockets. Brilliant idea! I purchased our trailer from Pat under your suggestion. He was great. In and out. One of these days we will cross paths and I will tell you the rest of the story! Enjoy that new trailer.
the winch mounting could be helpful , i have a 20' trailer solid deck and i put a rack on it to haul gravel and mulch , not the greatness but does what i need at times , brought mostly to haul our 66 mustang to shows
Hi from Mississippi. Enjoy your episodes and love your family, may God bless each of you. Mike your craftsmanship, expertise really amaze me.
That trailer is really nice!! Not the perfect trailer, but pretty close to it. How can it be the "road to nowhere?" It is the road to the hunting cabin. Beautiful place, Morgan Family!
Love the new trailer. We have the hydraulic jacks on both our 12ft -14K dump trailer and our 24ft - 14K tilt deck trailer. Absolutely love that feature. We have the Suretrak trailers, but the Moritz look very well made. Hope you enjoy the new trailer.
