    If I'm not mistaken, I am lucky enough to have witnessed your driving in person at So Cal RC Raceway in the 2000's. Little did I know, I would be referencing all of your videos 20 years later. Seeing your driving here, the lines you take, how you jump is like reading your mind given how dialed you have your vehicles tuned. Thank you for keeping the highest level of RC alive!

    This is bashing for racers aka practice. The control in the air is crazy on the Mbx8r. Great vid Adam

    Damn I wish I had a track like this near me. I have to drive 1.5 hours to get to a small run down un-maintained track

      You and a buddy or family could always have a couple loads of clay heavy dirt delivered and build one. Material cost even with a stand and speaker 🔊system isn't terrible. Or you could fish for interest in fixing up the unmaintained track. Even one planned weekend with a couple helpers can transform a weed filled track into a fresh ready to race one.
      This regains interest too from even more people. Hang some banners up, use colorful piping on the track, cheap stuff like that can make a track pop and look fresh. Best wishes, keep RC alive!

    Looks awesome, nice driving, thanks for the Video, I just Purchased 2 Ronda Drake Edition Motors with Header and Tuned pipe. Can you tell me if the O.S.
    Speed Tuned pipe TB03 efra 2155 and 75mm header good for Truggy or Buggy applications, Thanks R.B.😎👍

      Thank you! Yes, the TB02 and the TB03 are great for buggy and truck. We usually run 75mm for buggy and 85mm for truck.

    Hey Adam
    Question when you balance the car in the air do you always steer the same ?

    • @AdamDrake
      @AdamDrake  2 роки тому

      It depends on the correction needed in the air.

    Do you trail brake into corners or coast? Or can that be mitigated with drag brake?

    • @AdamDrake

      I brake before the corning and roll through the middle of the turn.

  • @mijk69

    • @AdamDrake

    You Americans have some great tracks… here is OZ RC Is not big at all and tracks are slim to few… I guess our population is just so much smaller but it still seems like Rc is much more mainstream

    hey adam, i know you are a pro driver and have a lot of experience but i think your engine is way to lean on the top and way to rich on the bottom and i think its because your idle gap is to big this is why you seem to have a 2 stage idle you can clearly hear it when you passed the long straight that your engine is starving for fuel and in the short slow corners your idle is good :) just a little tip from an engine mechanic ^^ great driving btw

    • @adamcongreve1280
      @adamcongreve1280 2 роки тому

      All the pros like to run them lean for power and fuel they don’t care if they don’t last long they get them for free

    • @nitrogas5719
      @nitrogas5719 2 роки тому

      @@adamcongreve1280 they typically run them a tad lean on the bottom for fuel mileage, otherwise they keep the top end in a reasonable range.
